Will Bieber performing at WM 27 be a classic WWE moment

  • Up there with Hogan slamming Andre & HBK's retirement.

  • As memorable as Kid Rock's performance at Wrestlemania 25.

  • Excuse me, I need to throw up.

I have no issues with Justin Bieber. I think all the haters are just jealous because they don't pull girls like he does.

But I can't imagine why Vince would want to book him for Wrestlemania. Does he think it will make 12 year old girls start watching wrestling?

Not at all and I wouldn't give a damn.

I think no one buys WM for a musical performance. It's not like these guys appear on a show only once a year.

I have no problem with mini-concerts or live performances at WM cuz I find them a nice way to make WM look more important but It will never affect my decision of buying it.

Well the title says it all. As being reported on the main site WWE wants him to perform at Wrestlemania. I personally think it will get a bunch of people to not buy it. Sure some of the kids will go ape over it, but hey they aren't payin for it.

Now the million dollar question is...if he performs at Wrestlemania, will it change your opinion on buying it?

This thread is ridiculous. Yeah, cus Bieber performing for 5 minutes will make me not buy a show that will feature Rock's return to Mania and HHH's career ending after Michaels counts to 3, and most importantly of all, Alberto Del Rio winning the World Title.

If anyone doesn't order this PPV because of Bieber then need to get their head checked.

As usual, the title of the thread explains itself. And I'm hoping for good replies and discussions.

My own personal answer is....hopefully no.

AND SERIOUS ANSWER PLEASE!!! Your post can be funny, but please don't disrespect anyone.

For your time and attention, merci :p

Listen, I can understand why Wrestling fans dont warm to Justin Bieber, well the Wrestling fans over the age of 16 and Male BUT from WWE's point of view it is a smart move. Bieber has taken the music industry by storm, he is the most famous kid on the planet right now and for WWE to have him perform will just increase buy rates...........$$$$$.

I dont wanna see Bieber as much as the next guy, but the CENATION will probably eat this up and whats good for WWE is good for us. We get The Rock, the kids get Bieber. Seems like a fair deal to me so all is forgiven as far as I am concerned.

To answer your question, yes it will be iconic, not to the fans, but to Wrestling in general.

First I need to say, that there's one problem with these couple of threads you've posted. You do realise, that Justin Bieber/HHH-Taker is only rumours by now? You shouldn't treat them like fact.

To answer your question, personally I don't even want to see Justin Bieber at Mania. I'll watch it anyway, but he just doesn't belong to wrestling. If he indeed does perform in Mania, there's no change, that it would be somehow iconic. I don't see some concert to become Wrestlemania-moment. Justin Bieber would bring more wiewers to Mania, but he could also lose some.

I'm sorry but you seriously think people wont buy Mania because Justin Bieber is performing like a 5 minute set? Give over!!! Buy rates will increase FACT. The kids just have another reason to push their mum and dad to shell out £/$ for the event. I can understand people dont want to watch him but to state he shouldnt be there is just plain snobbery.

Muhammad Ali, Cyndi Lauper, Lawrence Taylor, Pamela Anderson, etc etc shouldnt of been there either but they were and most remember them fondly.

Go and make a cup of tea or open a beer when he's on.

Every year I watch Wrestlemania regardless of all factors(its tradition). Although I hate Justin Bieber with the intensity of 10,000 supernovas, I will still get wrestlemania. I do see the reason for bringing in Bieber, the female teen audience of will skyrocket and the over all mainstream appeal will be huge. I applaud the WWE for making such a great business move( even if I don't like it).

LMFAO, I AM THE ONLY ONE TO SAY IT'D BE HISTORIC WITH ANDRE/HOGAN AND HBK.

AND I'M PROUD I DID THAT!!!!!!!

Look I know I'm a 19 yr old guy, and I should hate this kid and want him hung from the gallows, but the kid has talent, and he gets more bitches than Fabio dipped in chocolate and covered in diamonds. I am a JB Fan and would I buy WM, just for that reason, of course not, but he does make it more entertaining for me.

Jealous? I'm not jealous at all. Sure I've never been on a date in my life; but he is annoying. He is everywhere. He is a queef and his music sucks.

I would mark out so hard if the arena chanted "You're Gonna Get You're Fucking Head Kicked In" then Bryan Danielson came out and did just that.

Then out comes Sheamus with the Brogue Kick.

And then finally the Corre comes out and beats him down and from one Justin to another, Gabriel gives him the 450 splash.

MEGA MARK OUT!!! Take that you shitty hack!

Nah. I dont like JB. I dont like his kinda music. But I'm happy for him. If he's a wrestling fan than this must be incredible for him. So good job Justin. Hope you have the time of your life. And your annoying as $h!t because of your popularity lol

if he sings the national anthem thts fine.

but nothing more than that pleeease

no backstage segments and plz plz plz plz no segment with the rock

id rather watch lillian garcia sing the anthem

she has a bttr watch and im sure shed get bttr response frm the wwe universe

I don't think Lillian is bitter about Bieber.

Bieber will be fine, but it would have been cool if they had gotten Lita and her band to play since they're from Atlanta.

Ok i know its far fetched and 90%, I dont see it happening, but give the article some thought.

With the return of the "THE GREAT ONE", The Rock, things have gotten edgy again. For the first time in years, we can expect to hear the words "ass" and "damn" in promos; Where these words were included by The rock or the old school rapping gimmick of classic John Cena. At the Elimination chamber we saw Trish Stratus, the return of former diva of the decade, multiple winner of babe of the year, to some, the greatest diva in wwe history. Stone Cold is hosting tough enough. HBK, Shawn Micheals, is the first ballot hall of famer. Booker T is a trainer on tough enough along with Stratus. All names are also known in part with the attitude era.

With these facts in mind and such performers possibly having a part in Wrestle Mania, do you honestly think(no prejudice against the pg era takin' part) that Justin Bieber should be the performer at this year's Wrestle Mania? More than lets say, the controversial Eminem? The chart topper who doesnt care and entertains millions on a night to night basis?

Thoughts? Suggestions? What do you guys think?

If he's actually performing, Bieber will get booed out of the arena. I reckon he'll get more heat than Vickie. The majority of people will not want to see him anywhere near the WWE in general let alone the biggest event in the wrestling world.

I certainly don't want to see him at WrestleMania but I could live with it. What I'd be disappointed with; is if he wasn't met with intense hatred.

Yeah, even if Bieber just sings the Anthem, the crowd is going to boo him to the heavens. Look at the response he got when the Rock mentioned him, massive massive heat for just the mention of his name. Maybe they'll respect the anthem, which they should do, they just cannot have him do one more thing. Can you imagine if he sang one of his own songs, or done a segment backstage or something, I'd actually feel sorry for Bieber then, he will get heat beyond belief.

If he must be at Wrestlemania, please WWE, anthem only.

As for buying the show, I won't be buying because of the price, nothing else. And I highly doubt people arn't going to buy it because of 5 minutes of Bieber, only a total douche bag would do that.

Good point. If people really wanted to see Bieber at WrestleMania, they would just youtube it the next day. If I found out my favourite band were performing on a show I cared nothing for; I'd just search for it online and watch the band and none of the show.

I think the Rock dropping his name last week was to see how people would react to the premise of it. And clearly, they weren't too happy with it.

Props to The Vince for actually booking a relevant celebrity for the show. I sympathize with those of you who hate Bieber, but you should be happy that the McMahons aren't using Z-list talent like the Kardashians or washed-up celebrities like Lindsay Lohan who wouldn't have given WWE the time of the day when they were at the height of their fame.

The Bieber phase is too new to me, but from what I've heard he's either pretty good for a fast-rising pop star or a waste of time and energy to invest in.

But seeing as the PG era still continues for the kids who wants to see a celebrity they know about, it's not a bad thing for WWE to rail in more buys for this year, as compared to last year the buys was horrible.

I think I'm ok with the possibility of Justine Bieber performing the anthem and that's it.

As for the booing, I really don't think a crowd in America is going to boo someone singing their anthem unless they stuff it up. So if Justin remembers the words and doesn't stumble then it should be ok. I think if he does anything else then he might get booed a bit but he wont get a whole arena booing him, not everyone on the planet are Bieber haters.
