Live Discussion: Raw 1/4/2010

I don't care if yall don't want Bourne to win, I almost marked out hard after that SSP. Shame Sheamus will put the kaybash on this.

Okay, I don't understand this.

You have Bret Hart be the Guest Host after over a decade of build-up...and you barely put him on TV?

Yeah that bugs me, but I can imagine McMahon doesnt actually want to give Hart much face time.

Vince is a petty, vindicitive sonofabitch, and he seems to hold grudges for YEARS and years..

Hes just using Hart for ratings.

Well this proves one thing, WWE isnt going for all their shots tonight, they continue to build up Sheamus, nothing to complain about.

Also, I love Sheamus's no-nonsense "I'm going to beat the shit out of you. Let's go." promos.

And classy tribute to Steve Williams. I just wish they found time to do the same thing with Eddie Fatu last month.

It's possible that Bourne asking for his shot will be the start of the lockerroom revolt that's been hinted at for weeks. If that's the case I'd be looking at Dibiase quite closely.

And that's good. TNA isn't going to trump what they've done tonight for awhile. When they're slipping a bit, WWE can pounce.

Why is anyone honestly surprised they haven't seen Bret Hart all that much tonight, or didn't get anything else out of Raw tonight. You buy it from Vince hook, line, and sinker every single time .. while TNA is putting on one Hell of a show tonight with tons of surprises.

raw seems pretty normal tonight aside from bret harts return.

It is and it should be. They don't have to directly compete with TNA after tonight. Why blow everything you've got on a show that's going to give you one somewhat weak rating?
