Live Discussion: NBA Playoffs

Once again San Antonio proves why it's one of the best come playoff time.

9 point comeback. Lawlz. Stop choking PHX.

I'm writing a letter to David Stern with the suggestion of renaming the Suns. The Phoenix Chokes.

ROFL. Thank you Manu.

Oh, yeah and that other guy Duncan

I wouldn't be so confident, the Spurs basically got lucky, I mean relying on Duncan to make a game tying three at the end of regulation isn't a good thing, even if he makes it.

ROFL, this guy's username is quite fitting.

Detroit has a good enough defense to shut down Boston.

ROFLMAO...no, no they don't. Not even close. Where was this strong enough defense during the two 10+ margin point wins by Boston over Detroit? Nonexistant.

And Boston's "Big Three" have been playing so many minutes in the regular season, and they'll only increase in the play-offs, that they're going to be exhausted playing Detroit.

Now I know you have no clue what you're talking about. Apparently you haven't watched a Celtics game in the last, oh, month or so. Because the "Big Three" have been getting rest in every single game for the last month, letting the bench play most of the games (and they still win easily ROFL). How are they going to be tired when they've been relaxing, getting just enough playing time in to stay sharp, and preparing for the playoffs? You have no clue what you're talking abot.

Which leads to a bench much weaker than Detroit's. There are no guards on Boston who can contain Chauncey and Rip. But Tayshaun and Wallace will contain Pearce and Garnett just fine. Detroit wins in six.

ROFLMAOFOANFOUAETNOUEANT

I wish I could find a way to laugh harder.

A) Chauncey & Rip were both contained during the regular season (Celtics beat Detroit 2 times out of 3 this season)
B) Tayshaun & Wallace contain Pierce and Garnett? ROFLMAO. What planet do you live on? Tayshaun = Not even 1/3rd of Pierce's talent, and Wallace = Not even 1/4 of Garnett's talent.

Detroit is a good team. Who will lose to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Because they aren't as good as the Celtics.

Fiction got owned!!! I agree with the fact...not theory...but fact that Boston is the team to beat....just like Lakers are the team to beat out west.....maybe this is Boston's year...maybe not....I would be surprised if the Celtics lost a game in the opening round.

Oh my god. I know I'm late to comment on the game, but I need to. I'm talking about the Phoenix-San Antonio game.

Mark D'antonio, why in the HELL AREN'T you fouling someone when you are up by 3??!?!?!?! If they score two, fine, give it to Nash and you almost have a given 3 point lead back. He had that opportunity twice and screwed it over... TWICE! Phoenix didn't deserve to win that game. If they would've had a better coach they would've won. They didn't. That's why they're down 1-0 in the series.

What a game 1.

Dude, I'm not even a fan of Phoenix. I just believe Phoenix screwed themselves over for not fouling either time they could. Congrats to San Antonio, but that's only game 1.

Hopefully the Sunday's games will be as good as the Saturday's games. Phoenix should of won but they needed 2 foul on either of those game-tying 3's so that its no worst then a 1 pt lead instead of a tie. I like the looks of the Cavs/Wizards series....becoming a good rivalry game with Lebron James and Gilbert Arenas. Lets see what happens today.

GO LAKERS! we have a slim lead right now in the 2nd quaRTER......they seem to be defending well.

who saw that cavaliers vs wizards? arenas was on fire he shot a three close to the half court line he was on fire well anyways celtics are going to win

LAKERS WIN! I am a little worried that a lot of points were scored by both teams but I guess its because Denver=wannabe Suns.

now that the Ducks are eliminated...I can put all my focus back on the Lakers...come on Kobe, Gasol, Farmar and Odom.

Duncan to make a game tying three at the end of regulation isn't a good thing, even if he makes it.
Big time players make big time plays. He was wide open and basically in stride. SAS showed why they are good come playoff time.

Are the game 2's on TNT? I don't know, I think they are, but I'm not sure.

Spurs/Suns are on tommorow, aren't they?

I thought WSH/CLE and HOU/UTAH were the only games on tonight.
