NHL First Round Playoffs LD

I'm loving the Bruins support in this thread. Caught the end of the game while catching the beginning of the Red Sox-Angels game, Tim Thomas is clutch baby.

Fuck the Bruins, Canadiens win this series tomorrow night. Carey Price was great tonight and I fully expect him to be great tomorrow night as he plays better on the road.
Anyone watching the nucks game right now, really good game with back and forth play and solid goaltending from both Luongo and Crawford.

Penalty Shot! Penalty Shot! Burrows just got tripped on a break away so it's penalty shot time. Fuck he missed, god dammit Crawford.

Evil Canadien...dieinafire.

Canadiens got lucky as hell tonight because of the bullshit penalty calls on the Bruins all night. Take away the penalties and the Bruins probably would have won that game.

So if I got this right, if 'Nucks win tonight, it's Wings vs. Sharks, & Nucks vs. Preds, if Hawks win, it's Wings vs. Preds, & Sharks vs. Hawks

Also I would just like to say the Canadiens can go fuck themselves, Fuck Carey Price, fuck Scott Gomez, and fuck Gionta

GO BRUINS!!!

REALLY, the way I see it the Bruins had as many power plays as the Canadiens had they just don' know how to score worth shit on the power play, what are they 0-18 on the man advantage in this series.

To JustinSayne All I have to say is this, Fuck Thomas, Fuck Chara, Fuck Horton, Fuck Lucic, Fuck Krejci, Fuck Kaberle and fuck all the other Bruins.

GO HABS GO!

It's not Luongo's fault, if the Canucks score one more goal and they had plenty of chances this game is over, but no the Sedin's and the rest of the fowards have completly choked.

Crawfords a beat, guy is gonna have on hell of a career, if Chicago is smart they'll lock him into a long term contract

Luongo has had more than enough chances to end this series, he chokes every year

FUCK!!!!! Why the fuck did the stupid mother fucking Flyers have to win?!?!

I hope whoever they get next sweeps the shit out of them, Fucking Filthy Flyers

Completly agree with this^^^, I fucking HATE the Flyers even more then I hate the Bruins, and that is saying something. :)

Was I the only one who thought the officiating in the game last night between the Bruins and the Canadiens was atrocious? First, they blew the call on the disallowed Habs goal in the first period. Now as a Bruins fan, I was not complaining about this, but nonetheless, it was a blown call.

Giving Montreal two 5 on 3 advantages was a hard pill to swallow. It is difficult to win a game when the other team is given two such advantages, especially on cheap calls. Too many men on the ice when the puck hits the guy's skate as he is climbing over the boards, that's cheap. I realize that technically it is the correct call, but it's typical Habs horseshoe bullshit. Just like delay of game due to shooting the puck over the boards while killing a penalty is, technically, the right call but again it's cheap.

At most, Lucic deceived maybe a 2 minute minor penalty for his check. Certainly not a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. Not that his absence hurt them much as he has been wearing the Harry Potter cloak of invisibility all series anyway, but putting the team down a man for 5 minutes, and then following this with the above mentioned cheap call, if was just as well to serve them the game on a silver platter. Last time I checked, NHL hockey was a physical game where big guys hit other big guys. If you can't check a guy into the boards, who just happens to turn his back to Lucic at the last second, then something's wrong. Especially when you look at so many other hits this year that have gone unpenalized (Torres for example).

Oh well, I'd rather see them wrap it up at home tonight anyway.

An hour away from game time, can't wait to see the Habs eliminate the Bruins.

Interesting stat: The Bruins have lost four game sevens in the last eight years, three of them on home ice. They lost to Philadelphia last year, Carolina in 09 and lost to Montreal in 2004 and 2008.
