Hexagonal Hedonist
What was that music at the end about? For half a second I thought it was Goldberg music.

I'm literally sick to my stomach with how despicable TNA can be for a damn wrestling angle. That was so tasteless on so many levels and such a bad display of the company.
Why? It was pretty common stuff.I'm literally sick to my stomach with how despicable TNA can be for a damn wrestling angle. That was so tasteless on so many levels and such a bad display of the company.

We're talking about a concussion though, not a sprained ankle. MAJOR difference when you are talking about head injuries. Do a leg injury and this is fine, but in wrestling more than anything you don't use a concussion like this. That's just distasteful on every single level.
Not only that, Sting is now officially the stupidest man on the planet. Why wouldn't he cancel the match? He was back there and saw how bad Storm was, so why even leave the remote possibility of having the match?
And then, to make it more distasteful, the company that caught flack for not stopping Jeff Hardy from going to the ring when he's not fit to compete lets a guy with a head injury who is not fit to compete go to the ring? Tell me how any of this remotely seems like a good idea to any of you? Please, I would love to hear this.

OK, I tried sarcasm, this time I shall try being blunt.
Because it's a fucking fictitious television show!
Did you not hear the trainer say he ran off? But as far as tasteless stuff goes, the crowner goes to the time WWE put up a story on their website about Jeff Hardy being found unconscious at a stairway in a hotel. We're talking about a concussion though, not a sprained ankle. AJ/Roode at Turning Point?! Yes please!
That's nice, and I'm saying pick any other type of injury if you want to do an injury angle with Storm. You simply don't do a head injury story, especially when it's not legit, and you don't let a guy go into a ring with a head injury. It's a fictitious show, but it's a real ring and they really do make contact with one another. You are telling people watching that this company is ok with wrestlers having head injuries competing in their ring. That's not a good thing at all.
Defend it all you like, but a man that likely has a concussion (in storyline) just went into a ring. I know it's not real, but the idea that someone with a head injury would engage in physical contact and the company WOULD ALLOW HIM TO DO IT, including the GM who very easily could have cancelled the match, is just stupid on every level. You aren't going to win this one man. I know you are the defender of these things, but you have to understand that on this one, it's not about booking or short sidedness. It's about utter tastelessness and just doing the wrong thing.

But wait a second, I'm a little bit confused. What is TNA thinking, putting AJ Styles, the man who should be the face of their company, in the main event of a PPV, for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, and against another younger (relatively speaking) TNA original? Shouldn't Styles be involved in a meaningless mid card match, while they fast track some older guy (with a likely WWE history) into the main event? I thought for sure that we'd get Styles versus Devon, while the main event would be another nostalgic trip down memory lane.
If I didn't know better, I'd almost think the people at TNA might be starting to get a clue.
You don't see me defending that one, trust me. Knowing his history, him being found unconscious could be construed in such wrong ways. Still, the thing none of you are getting is that it doesn't matter if he ran off and it doesn't matter if the "story makes sense" which it doesn't but that's not the point. The point is that a man who had a head injury made his way to a ring for a match he was scheduled to have (that wasn't cancelled for some inexplicable reason that no one can explain). No one stopped him, or even likely tried, and he stumbled his way slowly to the ring and actually made it there without a trainer or even Fortune to stop him from being an idiot. More importantly, TNA, which is run by babyfaces now (it's no longer Immortal running the damn place) didn't do a damn thing to stop a performer from wrestling with a head injury. You can't be serious in defending this? I mean really, there's nothing positive about this at all. Nothing.
I think JJ must have hit his head earlier.

So, explain to me why every other injury is fine to exploit, but the one that you've randomly decided to give a shit about is poor taste.
