IMPACT Wrestling LD for 08.11.11

Impressions thus far:

It wouldn't surprise me if Steiner thought wrestling was real.

Taz might have finally become a deterrent to my enjoyment of the show instead of an occasional annoyance.

Bubba might be in my top 10 favorite wrestlers ever, I'm just glad that is slightly less embarrasing now.

Thank Christ for DVR so I can skip that boring as fuck opening segment.

How could you know it's boring if you don't watch it?

I watched the first 10 minutes of it and it bored me. Thus, I was relieved to be able to fast forward through the rest of it. I kept waiting for it to get interesting, but it didn't. I'm sorry man but I absolutely cannot stand this entire Immortal angle. The sooner that stable dies the better.

It really can't be said enough... TNA absolutely nailed it with the design of those tag titles. Absolutely classic.

LOL @ Jarrett.

You're not alone there.

I'd be ok with Immortal if they brought ANYTHING different. It's the NWO, the New Blood, the Magnificent Seven (the latter two both having Steiner and Jarrett in them and the third having those two plus Flair) and whatever other heel stable in WCW that you want to name for the most part. It's the same story and there's nothing new there.

Exactly. I'm convinced at this point that Russo doesn't understand how to book a wrestling show unless it all leads up to some power struggle over the company by one or two stables. The guy just rehashes his own shit over and over and over and over and god does it get tiresome.

Man all three of those bozos need to go, Russo, Bischoff, and Hogan. The day that happens is the day that I begin to enjoy TNA infinitely more than I presently do.

3 minutes for the X-Division? Come the fuck on man. Is it REALLY that hard to just give us one competitive X-Division match a week that lasts longer than 3 minutes? They were doing this greatly for weeks leading up to and after Destination X. Now it seems like they've gone back into the "We don't care, give 'em 3 minutes to get over" attitude about the X-Division.

I know, right?! Then we can all go back to complaining about Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel.
