If Sheamus wasn't HHH's training buddy would he be so strongly pushed in WWE?

Being friendly with Triple H definitely didn't hurt. However, Sheamus is a talent. Good, unique physique; great mic skills and a fantastic wrestler. He is one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster and that is why he has achieved success.

It's not as if he has been in every World Title match since his debut. He has spent a time in the mid-card as well as putting other wrestlers over. We haven't been overloaded with Sheamus and after his shameful appearance in the battle royal at Mania, I'm excited about where Sheamus goes.
