I Pity Tha Foo,That Don't Join The LD for NFL Week 2.

1. I think it's fair to say the Jets dominated quarters 2-4 of the game against the Pats.
2. Revis (going into the game injured) looked OK before leaving the game after the TD (where he was clearly holding his hammy trailing behind Moss, who made one hell of a catch).
3. After Moss is allowed off Revis Island, he got stuck on Alcrotraz, which today was worse then Revis Island.
4. I think the people shitting on Sanchez for last week will shut the fuck up. He clearly outplayed Tom Fucking Brady today, and Brady's a Hall of Famer. EASILY his best game as a pro QB, and it was against one of the top contenders this year.
5. The people who said LT was done might want to reevaluate their assessment of the future Hall of Famer. Same goes for Jason Taylor, who strip-sacked Brady, sealing the Win.

I'll just use the same argument you used after Mark was pathetic last week.

It was one game.

And it's quite known that the Pats D is nothing like it was in the last decade. It's quite weak, in fact. Once he plays a good defense again then we'll see him play the check down game again.

Hell, Shaun Hill threw for 2 TD's and 300+ yards today, doesn't change the fact that he's mediocre at best.

That was my point. The people that use one week can shut up about Sanchez, since he outplayed Brady. I never said he's reached his prime, or he's amazing. All I said is he outplayed Tom Brady, and the people who called him horrible for last week can shut up, because he was EXCELLENT today.

1. That's just a load of crap by Sanchez haters. NE's pass D isn't what it used to be, but they are still a good team, and a decent D. No, they aren't a Baltimore D or a Jets D, but they are serviceable.
2. Too bad the Offensive Coordinator already took the blame for all the "checkdowns". See, most of the "checkdowns" weren't actually checkdowns. They were short passes.

You're right. Hill has a history of mediocrity, and it will take a lot of those games for him to be thought of higher. Sanchez doesn't have said history. Therefore one huge game like he had is big. It also shows that he's ready to possibly make the step to the next level.

You really think NE's D is all that great? Man, pass that bong over here, that must be some good shit.

This team will beat you by outscoring you. They aren't gonna hold teams under 21 like they did when they had Vrabel, Bruschi, Seymour, Law, and others. That's not an excuse. That's quite a fact.

And one game doesn't show shit with Sanchez. He needs to continue to have success if he wants to be considered at the top echelon, just like Hill. He isn't anywhere close to jumping up to another step.

And Indy caps off a long drive with a TD run by Brown. Almost took up half the quarter.

1. It's a HUGE rivalry game (hell, even Brady said he hates the Jets, and Brady doesn't say anything like that ever).
2. Yes, NE's D, while not great, is solid enough to merit the Pats being a contender this year.

I never said that's not the Pats plan. They know the D isn't great. As I said it's solid enough.
And on an unrelated note, they were held to only 14 points, even after having the ball for 13:55 of the first quarter. This high powered offense was nullified, and Revis was hurt and didn't play the 2nd half.

Yeah, 1 GREAT game does show a lot for a player whom many thought wasn't capable of it. He had the pressure of trying to outplay a Hall of Fame QB, and he did it. That means A FUCKING SHIT-TON.

What does it being a rivalry game have to deal with the Pats D being bad? Nothing. And solid is being nice.

And shit, if 1 great game is all a guy needs to be on the cusp of 'greatness' then Shaun Hill is gonna fucking destroy this year. One Great game =/= almost there. Do it for a whole season, then maybe.

Hell, Matt Ryan's had 2 good seasons, and I still wouldn't say he's 'there' yet. Let's not go overboard because Mark had one good game against a weak D, because, before you know it, he'll go out there next week against Miami and play like shit. Not saying he will, but let's see how he responds to actually having some success statistically.
