After avoiding the 619, Del Rio scored the important first fall on Mysterio with the cross armbreaker. The Ultimate Underdog roared back, using his athletic prowess to pick up the quick pinfall on his aristocratic opponent. Then, in the crucial final moments of the match, Ricardo Rodriguez held Mysterios feet as the masked Superstar was trying to get back in the ring. This prevented Mysterio from answering the 10-count and allowed his affluent adversary to triumph. After the bell, Mysterio made Rodriguez pay dearly for his interference, dialing up a 619-splash combination on Del Rios unfortunate ring announcer.
Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly
As Kelly Kelly looked ready to hit the K2 legdrop on Michelle McCool, Layla jumped up on the apron. After the match, Drew McIntyre emerged to stop a post-match attack on Kelly Kelly by Team Lay-Cool.
Dolph Ziggler def. Big Show, Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes in a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contenders Match
Shortly after Dolph Ziggler lost his Intercontinental Title to Kofi Kingston, SmackDowns Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero put the bleach-blond Superstar into contention for something even bigger. With General Manager Theodore Long absent, Guerrero used her temporary authority to add Ziggler to the scheduled Triple Threat Match set to decide the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship making it a colossal Fatal 4-Way Match. After Wade Barrett stunned the WWE Universe coming out of nowhere to attack Big Show and prevent a probable win by The Worlds Largest Athlete the already volatile match erupted into absolute mayhem. This culminated in Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Cody Rhodes for the pin, catapulting him to the No. 1 contender position to Edges World Title.

Moments later, Ziggler attacked the new champion, inspiring SmackDowns frantic Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero to call for her boyfriends immediate championship rematch. This cleared the path for Kingston to defeat Ziggler a second time with Trouble in Paradise and retain his newly-acquired title.
World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Kane in a Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Edge reigned supreme over Kane in the culmination of a brutal Last Man Standing championship onslaught. Both Superstars utilized every weapon in their reach, battling throughout the arena and destroying the ringside area, as they tried viciously to do the same to each other. The SmackDown! Side:
30-Man Royal Rumble Match
Twenty-seven years ago, the dream of modern-day WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon was made manifest with the birth of the squared circles most celebrated spectacle, WrestleMania. More than a quarter of a century later, 30 Superstars will have the ultimate opportunity to realize their dream of performing in the World Championship main event match on this now aggrandized stage for the most brilliant competitors. They can dance on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania XXVII. But first, one man will need to surpass the efforts of 29 opposing competitors with the same aspiration in the 2011 Royal Rumble Match. A test of endurance, athleticism and survival at all costs, the Rumble Match is the definitive Battle Royal, where each Superstars prime objective is to propel their opponents over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. Every 90 seconds, one of 30 elite ring warriors with randomly drawn Rumble entry numbers joins the fray. Though luck of the draw can be a critical factor in such a high-stakes situation (ideally, entering at No. 30 like 2007 winner Undertaker and 2008 victor John Cena), past Rumble winners have included Superstars who kicked off the Battle Royal at No. 1 (as seen in 1995 with Shawn Michaels). But, with bodies being tossed out every moment and fresh competitors coming in at such a rapid pace, its really anyones match. In the end, the last Superstar standing can officially punch a gold-embossed ticket to Atlanta's Georgia Dome, where they will contend for a World Title of their choosing at WrestleMania. However, as the saying goes, You have to be in it to win it. Tune into WWE programming and stay logged on to WWE.com as entrants are named for the 24th annual Royal Rumble Match. Then be sure to witness this epic event live on pay-per-view on Sunday, Jan. 30, as the 2011 Royal Rumble defines the course of WWE's new year.
Find out at WWE Royal Rumble, Sunday, Jan. 30th at 8/7 CT, only on pay-per-view.
