The competition makes it incompariable, not to mention the lack of emphasis on defense back when Wilt played. It'd be impossible for a big man to score 100 points in a game now, no matter his talent level.

Competition? Bullshit. Who has Shaq had that can stand up to him? Who? There's no one in Shaq's league today and his numbers are nowhere near what Wilt's are. Wilt was against another HOFer in Russell and made him look pathetic. Both men have indeed dominated their generations and Shaq is easily #2 (with the possible exception of Jabar but that's debatable), but Wilt did what he did with no help to speak of, had assists titles, rebounding titles etc.

Think of it like this: Shaq, at his peak, had people that could at least contain him. Wilt ran over everyone that he played against. How is that not more dominant?

None of us were alive back then, so how can we know? The experts and players say he was the greatest, they would know. How do we know lack of defense? He played against greats like Russell and Walton. But no matter what, 50 ppg in a season is rediculous. Kobe played out of his mind and scored 82, including 3 point shots that did not exist for Wilt, which makes Wilts performance more amazing. And Wilt did it in a shorter game, it ended early by a minute or so for some reason.

I have no idea who Piven is.

Watch an episode of Entourage, or youtube him, this guy would be golden except that the RAW show is PG.

And out curiosity, why is it that I cannot recall the last guy to hold the ECW title twice? Has it been done in the new ECW?
