D-Man and IC25's Official NJexus HQ

They're both good threads about roughly the same thing.

Thank you, and not really.

One thread is about the women's division being better in the WWE than in TNA. The other thread is the comparison of The Beautiful People vs. Team Laycool.

Quite different.

Isn't LayCool being better than the BP what's making the WWE's women's division > than TNA's?

They're different, but the crux of both matters is that LayCool is better than the BP, and the women's division as a whole is built around them. (well half of the women's division is, anyway)

So D-Man, the PPV looks good on paper, however I'm not sure if I should order it. Yay or nah?

I would definitely order it. I see the card being pretty stacked, to be honest. A few reasons to buy it:

I'm really looking forward to the match that Punk and Rey are going to put on. Plus, I'd pay money to see Rey raise his hand and pledge his undying love for no drugs, alcohol or sex after 12pm.

It's Batista's last match, supposedly. I'd like to see him off. Plus, you never know... with the way the WWE's been running surprises through us, we might see a new champion just to fuck with us.

Orton vs. Edge is always an entertaining match.

Big Show might have a shot at the title. He's over with the crowd right now and is primed for a major babyface run on SD. He'll need a big win in order for people to believe in him again.

I can go on and on... I really think every match has great potential except for Truth/DiBiase. But even then, I think we'll be seeing a stipulation get added or some kind of swerve to keep the flow of Ted's storyline going.

Not at all. The reason why TNA had the advantage in the past was because their entire division was superior to the WWE's. Now, they've lost all of their star power and can't get the magic of the original BP back again.

But they're still apples and oranges.

I would love to watch the ppv this weekend but it's Lost's final episode and nothing in the world is going to make me miss it. I might order it anyway and watch the replay though because it seems like a rather good card.

Gotcha now.

But they're still apples and oranges.

More like oranges and lemons (say the bells of St. Clements). They're both brightly coloured citrus fruits, but they taste nothing alike.

Shit... that's on Sunday night?? Good thing my DVR records two shows at once...

Techinically it's like 4 and 1/2 hours because there is a special before the finale and then the Jimmy Kimmel special afterwards.

Man, you guys have missed out. Honestly, Lost is probably the greatest single, dramatic, weekly television show that I have ever seen before. It's plot is so mind-biggling, but it's like television heroin... you get hooked and your mouth waters for more.

I've never seen a single episode of Lost. Fact.

I watched a couple of episodes and found it to be utterly pretentious and at times idiotic. The characters seemingly accept the increasingly ridiculous events that are going on around them and rarely inquire about what is going on

Like at the end of the second(?) season when Locke points a gun at Jack and tells him he is going to shoot him and yet at no stage does Jack as "WHY?" The writers' injection of time-travel and flash-forwards/backwards/sideways just screamed "WE HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE ARE GOING WITH THIS!"

That said I may give it another go when the series is over

I don't watch a lot of TV and shows were all messed up and out of order in Italy anyway. I may sit down and watch it all one day year. Maybe.

It's because they don't have a choice. They're constantly being attacked and harassed by people that dwell on the island and they have no clue why. Plus, they cannot leave the island because of its special properties.

They're forced to do everything that they're chosen to do.

I guess you read that incorrectly.

They're not "pre-determined". They're forced to do those things. BIG difference.

I won't argue the basic similarities between "forced" and "pre-determined" as that leads us down a bad road...

So Jack and co. were manipulated into boarding the plane by various circumstances initiated by an outside, unseen force?

We just found out that they were "chosen" to be on that plane. An entity on the island is able to manipulate them for the purpose of leading them in a specific direction with their lives. They didn't even realize it was happening... they just followed the path.

Now I see where you're coming from.

Just got two HJ's. Now I feel like taking a nap. I have gotten virtually no fluids or food in me today. Supposed to be in the gym in about 5 hours. My day is basically shot.
