Well yea, now that my blood pressure is about 2 fucking thousand. Ill be falling back asleep sometime in the year 2013
I've seen THIS Norcal before. Some guy gave me a weird look at a bar we were at one time and Norcal looked through him with the same anger as he's showing here. That poor, poor exterminator. If he only knew that a military man is going to come and eat his family now.
I watched and was entertained for about half of the PPV. The four-way contract match was badass, the Ultimate X match was pretty decent, but the Doug Williams match was so embarrassing that I changed the channel. He tried so hard to put that poor kid over and the kid just kept fucking up his spots.
As for the rest of the PPV, the Abyss/Kendrick match was predictable and the AJ/Daniels match was subpar.
All in all I'd give the event a 5 out of 10.
The theme of the event just doesn't work. How can you have a PPV and NOT include your top talent? Although it gives the underdogs a chance to shine, they're cutting their noses despite their face. Just bad, bad booking.
It would've been messy.
I really only see two options for a safe escape from his standpoint.
1) Stand perfectly still and hope NorCal thinks it's just a dream until he goes back to sleep.
2) Spray NorCal with the gas he uses to kill pests with and hope to whatever god he prays to that it weakens NorCal just enough that he doesn't have the ability to kill him with his bare hands, only cause permanent brain damage.
I agree with most of your assessment. I thought the main event was well below par, but I enjoyed everything else (with the exception of Doug Williams vs. random guy nobody has ever heard of that looks like he's still in high school).
The thing about their top talent is that I think their best guys (with the exception of Sting, Angle, and maybe Crimson) aren't the ones being pushed as the best guys right now. I think Gunner is money. AJ Styles is obviously one of the best, as are many of their X-Division guys. The top of the roster is made up of old dudes and guys (Ken Anderson) that quite frankly suck.

Definitely. His terrible jokes and sense of humour just seemed to drag it all down a bit. Was a shame seeing as we'd had such a strong previous segment with just Punk & VKM.

It didn't ruin the segment. For me, it was interesting to watch the three seperate styles clash. You had the bland, clean cut face, the anti-hero, and the upstaged evil owner.

Don't take it as any kind of character assassination that I though you would like it...
As I was only a Teaching Assistant and have not been aksed to help out with any postgraduates, I have no work over the summer. Just sort of work semester to semester when I am needed. Not the best arrangement but it is the best I can get in the current job market.
