However, it sounds like a lot of socialising that I would have to get used to... Although it sounds like a lot of NJX meetings are done in controlled circumstances away from the insufferable public or in the presence of an alcoholic beverage or three so that suits me.

My search for a full time job seems to bare that though process out. BAs and MAs in Ancient History, 6 years of undergraduate tutoring under my belt, a book being published sometime in the future and a PhD secured (as of next Wednesday anyway) and yet I am still underqualified...

It would have been sweet and do not count it out just yet.

I am currently in negotiations to go on at least two trips to your neck of the woods in the next 12 months - none of the trips is exactly close to NJ (New Hampshire and Virginia) but I am keen to redo a trip I did a few years back from Boston to Washington so...

On top of that, there has been a lot of family talk of investing in a house in NH and had it not been for the credit crunch, it would already have happened and I would be there now, venturing far and wide on the US train system...
