well i respected him because he didn't do anything like improvising things out in favor of VKM, he earned my respect because now he let someone do the "talk" and let them slap him in the face to realize that "i'm a total failure, ass kisser, no good wrestler" he's a hard worker alright week in, week out, i just read an article that he has multiple injuries and still wrestle which is a complete "b.s"

Let me give you some info on john cena. He wants to be loved by everyone, but doesn't want to be a more responsible worker in the ring.
The fact is, this whole thing is something john and vince thought of to get fans on the side of cena. Their idea was to have punk sit up there and ream cena and rock and in the process rip on those who cheer for him, thus he would be suspended for making brash comments. cena knows that if he had stood up and grabbed a mic before going "whoa whoa whoa, time out.", he would have lost the members of the crowd who were salivating at what Punk might say next.
He's not a hard worker, the people who market him by selling his stupid moves for him are hard workers. He shows up, does what he's supposed to do (which is suck) and cashes his paycheck. He may have had matches that would have taken more endurance than I can ever muster, however he never deserved to be in those matches as the guy who endured so much. The fact is the best match cena ever had was vs RVD at One Night Stand because he finally showed an ounce of humility, any respect I may have had for him after that was shattered by how ate up airtime after that with his stupid mannerisms.

I'm wondering how much research you've done into the financial history of the wwe. Look at how much money they lost last year on a month by month basis, then notice how they're losing even more money every month this year. At a certain point, parents started telling their kids that spending $50 to watch john cena do a five knuckle shuffle is not worth it.
vince bumped the Daniel Bryan shaemus match so he could put snooki and micheal cole on ppv. Are you surprised that they're losing money? The man is a complete moron who will likely bankrupt his company no matter which way he goes, inevitably stephanie and hhh will run the show after vince suffocates after choking on donald trump's semen.
Punk getting a clean win would not bankrupt the wwe. If anything it would make me wonder if cena really isn't that bad a guy. The marks would respect cena for shaking hands with the better man after the match, smarks like me would pop like eight year old marks and find renewed faith in the business.
That was amazing One of the best promos ever. It was a work as they have about 60seconds between recorded and going live so they got 60seconds to cut it and that would have been cut a lot sooner if it was a shoot. Can you be a little more vague when you argue?
I gather that you're saying that the spoilers for next week's raw were all made up by someone, or you're most sure of that and based on that assumption are willing to insult my ability to comprehend what I read. It all read like a typical episode of raw, I had no reason to question it.
In what way did I suggest that the show was friday night smackdown? You apparently believe that raw doesn't tape their shows, thus any report of a raw taping is a lie.
In the same way that someone has to learn that santa claus isn't real, you have to learn that occasionally the whole "raw is live" motto is complete bs and they tape their next show immediately after the first one (which is what they did).
Next time, make your points with a little bit of clarity.

I loved the promo, I don't care if it was a shoot or if it was set up. The emotion was there from Punk and it seemed REAL. That is something that makes Punk one of the best on the mic. His ability to make us believe it was real. Great work by Punk as everyone is talking about it. The wrestling world is buzzing and CM Punk is the number one topic. He couldn't of done any better.

Here here my friend. I sense that in upcoming weeks it'll build that vince has suspended both men as cena dropped the belt and walked off. Both men get a break and it ends up building to a future ppv match.
What was really stupid on vince's part was to tape the next week's airing already, knowing that we would all have it's happenings immediately afterward. Now we all know that it was a work as cena wouldn't have had the guts or mental ability to be as brash as he apparently was on the raw taping, so the mystique of what could have been the greatest angle in a long time has quickly died in my mind.

Following on from "That" shoot, the one that turned just about EVERYONE'S heads...and the fact that WWE have started to sign people and offer contracts to a lot of ROH guys...could we see a formation of the 2nd city saints with a selection of ROH guys within WWE to mark Punk's return?

I'm beginning to wonder if his shout out to ROH was actually the start of something. A lot of people have said an "ROH invasion" type deal, but really...would that work? No. There's no proof right now Vince is doing anything to do with ROH other than snapping up more and more of their top talent.
If they did this properly, they could introduce the group like they did with the Nexus. Have them burst through immediately attacking Cena and even maybe The Rock. Definitely have them attack Stone Cold. Set up a match for wrestlemania, CM Punk vs. Stone Cold with the group at ringside as enforcers.
Being honest, WWE have ADORED using Punk as a tool for groups and factions and this would be the perfect group for him. People he knows pretty well or at least has kept up with and watched solidly (I believe Punk still watches in on the odd ROH show here or there, to keep himself in the loop. He loves ROH, you can tell that.) and he would have a pretty solid chemistry with him. Set it up as these guys are all pissed with Vince for trying to shut down all of their free speech, cutting mics etc whenever they're talking. Use Punk as the main talking piece and let others cut promos to allow them an in into the angle (the main mistake with Nexus IMO was stopping them from being allowed to talk, other than Barrett).
What do you guys think? A full on ROH star based group work their way into WWE and cause havoc...while it's been done with Nexus, it could work this time around and it would be one HELL of a way to get Punk back in with impact.

missed raw last night but i read it on the site and youtubed right away, this promo was just great, wish i was in that room with vince, steph, johnny ace, hhh, and him pitching that idea for a promo. you have to remember vince will do whatever it takes, look at back in the day putting his family on tv, and calling his daughter a bitch, and all. this is to add more interest for the money in the back ppv, since the buy rates have not been too good, i am pretty sure the buy rate for this one will be pretty high after the promo that punk cut. Yes the promo was Epic! Cm Punk once again showed us all why he is the most talented guy on the mic and why WWE needs him to stay around so badly.
I think CM Punk has really worked exceptionally with his backstage politics and has managed to work out a deal where WWE now treats him as a main eventer and he surely has a guaranteed title run in his new contract. I also feel the storyline has been set out exceptionally well and WWE has done a great job or atleast taking an old ROH storyline and added some good elements to it.
Having said that does this not show how bad WWE TV has been in a good while as the whole IWC is pissing their pants over one good promo?
If this leads to a CM Punk title run or a ROH angle where CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Tyler Black, Bryan Danielson show how much better at wrestling they are then the rest of the roster then great. However if it leads to CM Punk taking 6 months off and leaving Cena with the title then WWE will remain stale. Who wants to see Cena, Truth or Miz or Kane with the title. Not me! Maybe only Del Rio can save us in Punks absence.

Whether he is leaving the company or not, he has got us all asking questions, even the most knowledgeable among us. This was one of the best Raw endings in a long time, because he cut the promo well enough to make us think for a minute that it was a shoot, and the cut out ending of Raw was perfectly done too.

I like that idea, maybe also consider turning Bourne and Bryan heel for this ROH group as they were both in it? I think it could work but it would be similar to the Nexus how they were when they debuted. They will need to do it differently and not feud with Cena, maybe like you said with Austin, or Triple H or The Rock if he works fulltime after 'Mania.
