My Dream: TNA gets 2 hours Monday night, Kurt Angle joins TNA, Chris Jericho joins TNA, TNA starts touring weekly for tapings, TNA goes full-steam with Panda injecting the money it has into it, Joe is added to BFG title match and wins.

Dont bash me for this, i know its stupid and never gonna happen. Thats why its called my DREAM. Would be friggin sweet but, lol.

Nah, The 2 hour thing could happen and Joe is going to win the NWA title soon...But Panda doesn't have the money to compete with the WWE.

wrestlezone reported this.........We believe that TNA's big announcement will be an upgraded TV timeslot or an announcement of a star coming into the promotion Goldberg (who has been in talks with TNA), Jericho, Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho or possibly Chris Benoit.

To comment on this and some of your opinions, There's no way trish stratus comming to TNA will be "the huge announcement that will change wrestling" that TNA is making especially since Vince allowed her to retire with the championship, it would be unprofessional in her part in my opinion for her to come in with the WWE woman's championship and pull an Alundra Blaze A.K.A. Madusa. Some might say business is business but I think that she wants to prove to Vince that he didn't make a mistake by allowing her to retire WWE woman's champion. Now she can still go, but she shouldn't do the thing with throwing the belt in the trash. Vince Russo working for TNA is also not the announcement because TNA has allready reported that. Eric Bishoff comming doesn't really change wrestling because you allready have Cornette in the role Eric would be in. Kurt Angle cooming is possible but I don't think it's it either, Angle leaving the WWE was for many reasons, personal, and physical. He has been thinking of joining another organization but TNA isn't it. I think that Kurt will be going to the WWE when he works out all his things with his injuries and personal family issues. Jericho comming isn't it either because he was recently interviewed by Ashley M. and he told her he was thinking of returning to the WWE. Goldberg comming to TNA could happen, but that's FAR from a huge announcement in my opinion. Brock Lesner on the otherhand is very plausable. Benoit jumping ship would be a HUGE disapointment for WWE fans who are waiting for his return although he was supposed to go on some house shows in the WWE in October and is preparing for his WWE return so maybe that's also not happening. Smackdown needs Benoit ASAP. I think that as far as the 2 hour thing is concerned, i highly doubt that a 2 hour show, or change of timeslot is the "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" TNA has been raving about , unless it is going up against RAW and i don't think they are ready for that type of competition. The reason I don't feel it's the announcement is because it's been all over the wrestling internet for weeks. I rather the announcement come from left field, and nixes everybody's predictions of it. Even though I'm not a TNA fan, I rather it be something different from what has been already predicted. That's not to say the 2 hour show in a different time slot isn't going to happen cuz i think that is still going to happen, but being that's already out in the open and in the public it should be something nobody expects. It could be Ted Turner buying them out but we'll see. Its been reported that only 3 officials have knowledge of the content of the announcement and all 3 signed confidentiality aggreements saying they wouldn't say anything to the public or wrestling media. Information always leaks out but I think this is a sittuation well the information is going to be kept a secret until the ending of tonights TNA PPV.

Basically as the saying goes and its exactly what you and I have both been saying all day in the forums... We just have to wait and see cause in wrestling, you never know until it happens

Lesnar can't wrestle in the USA just yet so its not him. Its nothing big, in my experiece in the wrestling world these BIG ANNOUNCMENTS always turn out to be BIG LETDOWNS. Just wait and see.

TNAwrestling just reported this....FINAL UPDATE BEFORE TONIGHT’S “NO SURRENDER” ON PPV
By Bill Banks

TNA Wrestling staff and stars are arriving backstage in Orlando for tonight’s “No Surrender” live and exclusively on Pay-Per-View. There are several news items to report as we count down the final minutes until the epic broadcast!

In what could be the biggest news of the day, TNA Management Director Jim Cornette revealed in the morning production meeting “the major announcement will be delivered by a wrestler not scheduled to be on the broadcast tonight”. Obviously, this has led to huge speculation among TNA staff and stars! Cornette has promised to formally address the “major announcement” tonight during the Pay-Per-View.

IMO this is the most attention TNA has had in quite some time, let's see what it is and if it's something worthing waiting till a PPV.

Remember Bischoff's HUGE SURPRISE in WCW all those years ago, the one Vince couldn't stop? It was Goldberg turning heel. I am not getting my hopes up.

I wonder..... if indeed its ANGLE, nah he couldnt betray Vince like that. But according to the article its going to be made by a wrestler not scheduled to be there tonight. I rememeber what if its being made by Luger or Bagwell. Rememeber I did post earlier that they are suppose to be there tonight

now is the following a possibility....

what if they are going to change their name to the NWA.....what if they are dropping the TNA (corny total nonstop action name) to recognize the history and prestige of the NWA.....the father company of WCW (for some of their existence) and the father company of the then WWWF (World Wide Wrestrling Federation) . is this even possible, can it be called the NWA. Although to some of you it might not be much but I think that's pretty big......you can add all the other announcements that have been mentioned under it but the real announcement would be the dropping of the TNA name to the world known National Wrestling Alliance.

Why would they do that? TNA isn't even a member of NWA and why would NWA let them do that?

umm.... joining the WWE as a partner company working together? jk!

But I beleive that they will have a new TV time-slot and will be going nation-wide for their show.

But realblackhart, the article stated that the big announcement would be made by a wrestler that wasnt schedule to be there. Why would a wrestler make that kinda of announcement? That seems like that should be made by higher-ups, dont you think?

on TNAWrestling.com shows a pic of Sting on the matches banners thing and it doesn't show he's scheduled to be there.

So I'm assuming Sting will make an announcement. Possibly saying Goldberg will return at TNA's new 2 hour show?

that is true, i guess it may be made by a former NWA champ wrestler, i think that TNA making an announcement like that would change the face of wrestling where as NWA is a name known since the beginning of wrestling. but in that aspect that would be made by sombody in the front office. even though im not a tna fan, i just don't want it to be something simple and boring like the announcements that have been predicted to be made.

that's why i asked if it was possible, it's not my prediction, im just asking if it's possible

Wikipedia says
TNA was originally a member of the National Wrestling Alliance, with the company known as NWA-TNA, but withdrew from the NWA in 2004, in the process acquiring the rights to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and NWA World Tag Team Championship until the year 2014.

what if they are rejoining TNA........or part of the announcement is they are going to start touring (doing house shows)

Really like i said, im just throwing stuff out there, i don't want it to be Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Benoit, or the 2 hour show in a different time-slot.

the time slot thing seems like its going to happen, moving it to prime tome is a big deal but not ground breaking, and what if its someone from WCW, we could have never thought of..i have no clue but i want to find out soon.

SPOILER WARNING SPOILER WARNING

Backstage

Backstage, Borash interviewed Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett said he is straight with the fans. Jarrett said you can find out the announcement on any web site. He said he was concerned about the person delivering the announcement. Jarrett told Eric Young to find Sting, and not to let him interfere in his match.

To me, this just shows me that it isn't something that has allready been reported, its something fresh. I think Jarrett said that to make people think it's the 2 hour thing.......lets see

so r there 2 big things the annoucer and the announcement?

yes there is two announcements the announcer and thea announcements and yes I do believe Jarrett said that to throw us off......it's gotta be something different

I think he was trying to redirect the audience to focus on him, his match and the rest of the show and therefore shocking the crowd later on
