haha....and TNA fans slam the WWE's booking....what a great pay per view :icon_rolleyes:

actually it was a good one as are all TNA ppvs, the only bad match was the tag title match but...was anyone really expecting less? and the no announcement, other then that every match was at least a solid one.

Well I can atleast say, finally.... Tna got there 2 hour timeslot that one hour time slot went by so fast sometimes you'd be like wtf just happend and next thing you know it would be over :( well least we get 2 hours of tna now :D

What a gay ppv that was. well atleast i watched it for free as i watch every ppv event for free. and atleast it is now confirmed that tna will finally go 2 hours. now hopefully all the impacts starting on october turn out to be watchable and way better than the old impacts were.

I dont think tna ever said their would be a signing.

And if you thouht this wasn't a great ppv you obviously missed Roode vs. Kaz, Styles & Tomko vs. MCMG, and the absoultley awesome Angle vs. Lethal. Definately will best anything WWE Unforgiven will have to offer.

Big ups to the young Jay Lethal, He made himself a star tonight!
2 hours means more X-division!

Why was it a bad ppv, besides the no announcement it was a good ppv and again every match but the tag title match was a good one.

Dude, the ppv was blah. nothing that interesting at all. it was a passable ppv.
if anyone missed it they didn't really miss much at all. and for the fools that spend their money on that crap should be pissed at tna right now and really feel bad about themselfs. and the main event made me almost want to fall asleep. what a bad main event to have on a ppv.

TheSurge, Obviously you missed the ppv or you are a complete wwe mark.

Give up for Black Machismo!

2 hours for tna means no more 2 minute long matches. The announcement should have a huge impact on the Bound For Glory build-up. On a side note I thought the opening video for No Surrender was pretty cool to.

Dont insult me for speaking my mind. IMO the ppv could have been way way better than it was. and oh yea good for black machismo. hopefully this time he will hold on to that title for way more than one day.

Dude dont rag on this PPV because nothing could be as bad as Great American Bash 2007.

its also funny coming from a cena mark, also People have the right to insult you when you call them fools.

Wow, the name of this "former champion" wasn't announced?

I rushed home to find out the name and find out the announcement was a huge let down. Everyone knew the two hour time slot was to happen (okay, maybe four or five people who doesn't go online).

If it's true TNA is only "in talks" with a former world champion, then what's the point getting everyone hyped for when nothing is finalized (of course, I don't know this for sure)?

WE ourselves are the ones who built the hype. Tna's exact words were that they were "in talks" with a former world champion and nothing else.
Although websites are reporting that they did sign someone. Maybe its just not worth a "big announcement" like Lita or Sabu(no disrespect to sabu).

Wait what?? a cena mark? no way i dont like that guy but i dont hate him either and this has nothing to do with him. but if you wanna know why i have my sig like this is because i am tired of these cena haters bitching all the damn time.

^^ like I said, if it is for real that it's only "talks", then what was the point in announcing it for if nothing is finalized? I'm sure they mentioned it for an actual reason and they knew they would get the attention like this from the people. It's common sense.

I'm really getting the idea if they began the hype, it will probably be a former champion that's either too old/crippled that can no longer deliver or a forgotten champion that wasn't even worth the huge attention for his debut.

However, in a way I agree it was us (mostly the ironic reporters that plays assumptions when they have no real inside scoops what so ever) that made the hype.

Yep my Cena comments were irrelevant but then again so was you taking shots at TNA when you didnt watch the PPV.

Also people hate Cena because he's champ 4 life he may lose the title but we know he'll get it back and Vince mcmahon doesnt care that Cena gets booed because he couldnt give a crap about what the real wrestling fans want.
he'd rather listen to a bunch of 5 year old Cena fans.

I for one wont see the PPV til Wendsday as i live in the UK but it will be free as all TNA PPV's in the UK are so i don't care about the delay.

Im looking forward to this PPV, im glad Sting and Kurt dropped the belts as theyre not a legit tag team but neither are team pacman really, then again it's a good thing because it'll eventually lead to Sting vs Angle for the title at BFG which will be beyond awesome.

Dude i did watch the ppv. and yes Angle vs Sting would be a very great main event as it is a dream match on tna's biggest ppv of the year.

I admit the main event could have been better but it was a decent match..Angle kicked out of the black hole slam!!!!!. Its not Abyss and Angle's fault they went with the injury thing in the middle of the match cause that always ruins the match quality, but again every other match was at least decent, and the tag team gauntlet was amazing especially since how it ended seems to be building up to Cage-Styles feud.

what if king booker is the former world champ in talks with tna..? debuting along with the 2 hour premier of Impact? as per carlito... "that's cool.."

What if King Booker is the former champion and debuts? The WWE will take legal actions due to their contracted performer working for a different promotion without permission. Just because you "quit" doesn't mean you're no longer under contract. Common sense.

I highly doubt that the former world champ that tna is in talks with is King Booker. but whoever it is i heard they just signed the wrestler. and since they didn't announce it at the ppv it might not be anyone that important.

what about christian cage way back..? he quit wwe right?
sorry for that.. it's just a wild thought anyway...:lol2:

Actually the situation was much different. Christian Cage asked for his release and was granted it. He also left on good terms.

King Booker, on the other hand, (as far as I know and if reports were correct) just called it quits out of frustration due to his restrictions to his drug use and wasn't granted his release from his contract.

Two complete opposite things my friend.

Going to 2 hours is good but it's not the do and say all either. 2 hours doesn't make a show better...just longer. Just as there are good and bad movies that are all 2 hours long. Remember, WCW won the "ratings war" but in the end that didn't make them the better wrestling organization (and because Vince bought them out doesn't make his company better either).

From what I've gathered here in the forums, the majority of us grew up watching the WCCW, GCW, USWA, WWW and AWA on ESPN, as well as WCW and WWE. Ratings had nothing to do with it. We, the fans, want more and more. That's why we scour the net digging for clips of matches from obscure indy feds, trying to get a fix like a junky.

And, please, AGAIN, there is no "ratings war" between WWE and TNA. Never was and never will be. WWE is probably more concerned over TNA then TNA is of WWE. They have momentum and credibility in all divisions and in talent from top to bottom then WWE has had for ages.

I wish TNA all the best.

I'm really happy that TNA is going 2 hours on Spike TV. I think it's a good way for them to have more time to build up story lines and feuds without having to rush through them. It's also a good way for them to put on some good quality matches with enough time for them on TV instead of having to wait until there monthly PPV's. It's good for them, and it's good for the wrestling business.

I ll be more happier if they get Hulk Hogan,Ric Flair,Booker T,Y2Jerkiko ,Vampiro and more stars to increase the ratings
we all know Eric Bischoff will be in TNA also that can boost more ratings as well! We have Judas Mesias (kane lookalike) which will help more!
now WWE will be cringing and panicking as the resurrection of WCW(TNA) resurfaces through the sands & gravel of Earth

umm huh? if any of that happens I'll be surprised. And yes 2 hours means a better show because now the story lines can be fleshed out and not interfere with the matches and nice versa.
