Yeah he could do that quite easily..... thats why I dont think it will be one wrestler if its the announcement of an acquistion.

Im still going with timeslot or Ted... and perhaps further down the road some big names being brought in.

Guess we will just have to wait and see

Thats one of the things that killed WCW, they went into debt paying their wrestlers too much.

i don't like TNA but the only way for them to do it big is the hire BRET HART

Im going with TNA moving to primetime with a two hour slot. NOW based on that I'm asking what would cause this to happen given the low ratings recently.

Maybe the announcement is mving to two hours in primetime based on the fact that TNA has signed someone to a deal. Imagine that they move to two hours and on the debut episode they have Angle come out to spoil the mainevent.

All Im saying is maybe its more than one thing. Maybe its a move and an acquisition.

Well, I don't think you were serious when you said Angle, but just want to point out that it won't be Angle. I would assume he has a no-compete left from his release, and he is loyal to Vince McMahon so he wouldn't do that.

I would hope it is a move and not an aquisition. Everyone keeps talking about how TNA is not just a place for old stars and WWE rejects to go, so why should we hope that TNA is picking up a "major aquisition" that would no doubt be viewed as one of those 2 things.

the official announcement is tna is going to move to a 2 hour time slot

I beleive TNA is just over-hyping the fans and mis-labeling theirselves.

Personally, I do not beleive TNA or any company should say this will change the whole industry forever, before it ever happened. It's not for the company to determine or label, it's destiny and the industry as a whole. Look what happened when they brought in Sting. His return was supposed to change TNA forever, and TNA's ratings now are lower than it was prior to his TNA return back in the winter time.

I just don't beleive in giving yourself the label. To me it makes you sound like somebody trying to "fit in" and gives the people from a diffrent perspective that TNA is over-trying to hype for something small.

I will not beleive this announcement will re-write history until I see results after this "big thing" takes place.

First off, it will not be Ted Turner. You can't just throw money to buy someone, if they have a no-compete clause it is ILLEGAL. Also, Panda does not have a problem with money. Having more money doesn't make you turn a profit, it's how much you spend. It won't be Goldberg he won't work with Vince Russo. It won't be Angle, Hogan, Lesnar or Piper they have no-compete clauses. It won't be Jericho or Rock, if they wanted to wrestle they would be in WWE. It will be a new timeslot definitely, and possibly an extended time.

Lesnar has a 7 year no compete clause, maybe its nine.its something crazy. angle hasnt been gone for 30 days yet. piper isnt a big enough deal for it to be as big as they are saying. Hogan won't work for Russo, plus he has somewhat loyalty to WWE at this point in his life. He wants to work for big money if he steps into a ring.

I pray to god it never happens. If Hogan shows his face in TNA as anything other than a Commissioner, Championship Committee Member or mouthpiece for a nWo like faction I will piss on my TV screen. If Hogan steps into a TNA rring as a wrestler - I solemnly swear to never watch TNA again. He was too old and too immobile to wrestle in WCW in 1999, he has no place doing it in 2006.

If this is anything other than a new 2-hour primetime TV deal I will officially be on disappointed. And I HIGHLY DOUBT it will be TNA moving to a new timeslot still with a single hour. And think about it, when TNA was moved to Thursday nights at 9pm, there was no hype on TNA's part. They mentioned it here and there but never did Dixie Carter say she was going to come out and address the issue.

As we all know that move to 9pm was cancelled in favor of UFC and having TNA at 11pm instead. But the point is if it wasn't hyped the first time, why would they now? This has to be a 2 hour primetime spot. It would make no sense for them to hype it the way they have if it was anything less.

The thing is though it could very well be Angle. His will to Wrestle is well documented, he hates sitting at home, and he could be looking to get back into a Wrestling Ring as soon as possible. No-Compete Clause or not, he could still have signed, he may not appear, but they could still announce his signing. I'm not saying its definately going to be Angle, what I am saying is though, it very possible it could be him.

It could be something no-one has thought of, a current WWE Worker jumping ship again? Or something completely out of left feild, I dont think they should be judged until the Announcement has been made. But once again I will say them moving to a Prime Time slot is the most realistic option for their announcement, and if it really were to change the face of the Industry, wouldnt going directly against WWE Programming do that? Saying before this thing has even happened that its going to be a let down is pointless, I am just going to wait and see what or who it is.

The First and most likely one will be

Impact with a New day/time and 2 hours long.

then 2nd will be

Goldberg is coming to TNA.

then the third possibility will be

Kurt Angle is Coming to TNA.

Thats probably about it, Chris Jericho is a Long shot as is Eric Bichoff, plus there would be no need for Bichoff since they just got Jim Cornette to fill that role.

Russo is coming to TNA but it won't be the big announcement. And with Russo in TNA you can garuntee Goldberg won't be, because they hate each other. I imagine the announcement would be a new time slot, or a two hour show, or both.

My Dream: TNA gets 2 hours Monday night, Kurt Angle joins TNA, Chris Jericho joins TNA, TNA starts touring weekly for tapings, TNA goes full-steam with Panda injecting the money it has into it, Joe is added to BFG title match and wins.

Dont bash me for this, i know its stupid and never gonna happen. Thats why its called my DREAM. Would be friggin sweet but, lol.

What if it's Trish Stratus coming. She completed and fulfilled a contract and therefore has no "no-compete' clauses?

I really think (and hope) it's two hours at prime time on either Wednesday or Thursday nights

I heardly doubt that a diva signing with TNA is the announcement that will change the face of the industry

omg that would be sweet.

one guy that i would also like to see in TNA= Rov Van Dam!!!

At this point I really don't think they will get 2hours on a monday night. 7pm et is too early to draw a big audience, and if they run past 9 they are competing with the WWE, something that they can't do at this point. I'am thinking that it is going to be 8 pm one hour show before Raw just to capture former WCW fans and New fans that normally watch Raw.

i think they should stay on the same timeslot, have it be 2 hours and live! i really dont think 1 hour is enough.

Having a 2 hour show at their current timeslot is a stupid Idea, they need it sooner.
