Here's another option, Ted Turner might be working on buying a part of the company and adding his finicial backing. You know that he is Ticked off that he lost WCW to Vince.

Damn straight.djmalachi said:Not a bad idea. Alot of people didnt realize that one of the conditions of WWE buying WCW was that Turner could not get back into wrestling intil August of 2006. So with that being said, it could very well be it. I dont think so, but with wrestling nowadays, you really cant tell until you see it
djmalachi said:I know right
attila said:I highly doubt the Ted Turner thing, but it would be fuckin sweet. But I hate it when people keep saying TNA cant compete with the WWE money-wise. PLEASE PEOPLE try to REMEMBER it this time: PANDA ENERGY HAS DEEPER POCKETS THAN THE WWE.
And for those unaware Panda Energy is the parent company of TNA. Thats right, OMG for the billionth time - NO!!!! Jerry Jarret does not own TNA and hasnt for 3 years now. The only thing holding TNA back is the fact that Mr. Carter (the owner of Panda) wants to see TNA performing at a higher level before he starts throwing money at it.
But back to topic - purely for the interest it would generate and the rebirth of the Turner/McMahon rivalry - Turner becoming a partner in TNA and having Bischoff come in would be awesome!! A further announcement of TNA moving to two-hours on a Monday night and that they would begin touring nationally for Impact! by January would be every wrestling fan's greatest dream come true through one single segment.
Its good to dream.
Randolph H said:If Turner got envovled, they could have live programming this week, if it did happen. Imagine the Media HYPE! Right now the problem is that there is nothing to peak the publics interest for TNA.
attila said:SO TRUE. Turner throwing himself back into the wrestling business would definately be an interest point for mainstream media and it would turn heads as it would spark a whole new round of discussion about The Wrestling Wars being on again. And TNA could even use it as a tool to say that 'Turner is Out For Revenge' as a way to plug themselves. Yeah it would definately create some hype and wake some people up to TNA.
CM Joe said:i think that its gonna be that... ted turner bought out the World Wildlife Fund, and shut it down. Then he owns the term WWF... see where I'm going here? TNA is no longer TNA come Sunday... but it will be WWF. World Wrestling Federation.
djmalachi said:Has anybody thought of the possibility of Panda Energy selling TNA to Vince. Rememeber the sell of WCW. Most people didnt know about that until the day before. In wrestling, you never know until it happens. Personnally i dont think its the signing of another wrestler. This is something that is suppose to change the course of the industry...what better outcome would it be then Vinnie Mac buying panda energy's interest of TNA. I would say WOW!!!!
Randolph H said:Something has caught my eye when visiting the TNA website. Maybe it's a hint?! Check out the Spy Hunter advertisement! Its been there since the announcement about the announcement... http://www.tnawrestling.com/index2.html Could it be??? Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in TF'NA!!!????
wotdoiput said:Yeah I have seen that ad... it would be great for TNA would definately up the ratings thats for sure.... but thats not going to happen... I have seen that add on many different websites even on WWE.com... so I dont thin there is a chance in hell that The Rock is going to TNA.
I think it could be a timeslot thing or Ted Turner buying in somehow... I dont think a single wrestler would change the industry as we know it not even Angle, The Rock, Brock or Goldberg going to TNA.... know if they all went there thats another matter.. lol
