And I'll provide the flip-side to this opinion. He sucks. He talks about twice as much as he needs to, and it's actually become annoying. He definitely has personality, but his interview segments, as of late, make me want to change the channel.

I think some of you guys, especially my ever objective buddy IDR, have forgotten about the ever charismatic Shannon Moore, Samoa Joe, and Abyss.

Moore has zero personality, he simply elicits a response by dressing like a punk. To suggest that Mysterio has no personality, but is simply a generic guy behind a mask, is probably true. However, Abyss is the stereotypical monster behind a mask. Take away his mask, and he is nothing at all. Samoa Joe has the personality of a bowl of jello, and is the most overrated wrestler on either current roster.

Hell, while we are discussing charisma or personality, or lack thereof, I am not so sure that AJ Styles does not warrant a mention.

So Danielson didn't deserve his push then? Do explain, please, I'd love to hear your explanation of this one. It's not like the fans were chanting his name every single fucking week on TV, even after he was fired.

And clearly Danielson is a prime candidate for an undeserved push in the WWE, why he fits their criteria for a star perfectly, he is after all 6 foot 6, 300 pounds, and more ripped than Batista. Oh...wait....he's the exact opposite of what the WWE looks for in their wrestlers. They must have just seen him and said "YOU THERE! YOU have no personality at all! Come main event Summerslam!"

Still waiting for your explanation of how Danielson doesn't have a personality, when they've built up his personality on TV for over a fucking year now and literally filmed entire skits revolving around his personality as a nerdy vegan. Nerdy vegan...again, that's EXACTLY what the WWE looks for in their stars, isn't it?

Millions of people find his character entertaining. His character ≠ his personality, of which he does not have.

I've always thought AJ was amazing in the ring and crap in the promos. To be honest TNA should go back to what they were circa 2005-2006. Some good quality matches with a lot less promos. They don't have the speakers that the WWE or even WCW had.

Oh, I agree. The list could go on for miles if I wanted it to. Problem is, it'd be much deeper on the WWE side simply because WWE's roster is that much larger. IMO TNA's roster is actually chock full of personality with a handful or so who lack it.

WWE has 11 more active male wrestlers than TNA. You listed 10 more WWE guys than TNA guys. Now I'm not good at maths...

During the Orton feud? I recall him talking, but I didn't sense much personality there.

It almost pains me to say they have personality, but it's true. It's difficult due to my absolute hatred for both of them. I didn't hate Jeff prior to Victory Road, but that debacle of a main event gave me all the reason I need to feel justified in feeling that way.

No. Mysterio didn't deserve it, because he's not verbally talented and has no visual personality behind those masks.

Danielson has the personality of a door knob. His being a nerdy vegan just adds to the fact that it's about as deep as a puddle. As far back as I can recall, his ring work was what "got him over", not his personality, hence all the "Chris Benoit" references. Another guy with jack shit for personality who was still wildly popular.

Look, fact of the matter is this. Some guys are fortunate enough to be blessed with great mic skills, while they may not have the absolute best of in ring skills. It could be argued that the Miz fits in here. Other guys have tremendous in ring talent, but less than stellar mic skills, chairsma, or personality. And this is AJ Styles in a nutshell (especially when they are trying to force feed him to us as an ineffective heel). I agree that Styles should be their franchise player. He was before the Eric and Terry show, but his position in the company has deteriorated since then, and that's truly a shame, as I have said many times, Styles should be the John Cena of TNA.

Styles got people to care about him because of his in ring abilities. He has succeeded in spite of his lack of charisma, not because of it. He gets the reaction he gets and deserves because of his in ring work, not his personality. He should be their most decorated talent, yet a couple of months ago, he was contending for a mid card title currently held by Gunner.

This is hardly an AJ bash, as I am a big fan of his. He's one of the few guys on TNA I can tolerate. All I am saying is that he has no more personality than Danielson, Morrison, or any of the other guys that our less objective TNA marks like to criticize.
