This has became a place where people are just posting WM dream matches. I will answer the thread.

An Era match would not leave enough big stars for other matches. OUT

SCSA vs. CM Punk. . . as much as i hate to say it, would not be enough for WrestleMania. Austin can not put on that WM quality match. Who is the face and who is the Heel? Does Punk turn for this feud? I kinda feel like this would be a waste for one of WWE's top guys in CM Punk. I would like this at a Summerslam or a Survivor Series though. OUT

That leaves Taker vs. Lesner. The history is there. The build would be there. The match wouldn't have to carry the show because Taker isn't a top 4 or 5 guy in WWE right now. The match would be pretty good. I say book it.

CM Punk Vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Wade Barrett vs. Dolph-Z (Dolph had to change his name after losing to Barrett at Survivor Series '12) (World Heavyweight Championship)

Undertaker vs. Daniel Bryan (special referee Triple H)

MITB (Kharma vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Christian vs. Chris Jericho vs. John Cena)

Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena (WWE championship)

Sheamus vs. Brock Lesnar

No I don't think Austin & Punk should be done at WM 29,it should be done at WM 30,it would be more meaningful at the 30th Anniversary of Wrestlemania. It would just be more logical & have more value to it.

I can see Punk Vs Cena or Punk Vs HHH,the Punk & HHH feud finished horribly & too soon also,Punk & Cena really need a chance to feud,Poster Boy Vs Rebel. They are the two most popular superstars in WWE right now & I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Here is a shot out of a cannon,I know from Matt Hardy's Youtube Channel that Jeff Hardy's TNA Contract expires January 2013 & Jeff has 3-4 good years in him left, what if he returned & had a match with Punk at WM29 for the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship? We all loved that feud in 2009 & there is no doubt, unfinished business between the two, personally & professionally. This could work out with both of them as faces too, kinda like the HHH & Cena feud, they can both be over with the crowd, respect each other to a certain extent with personal beef(like HHH & Cena)& put on a great match like they did at Summerslam '09. Hardy still has a shitload of child fans & don't say "He lost all his child fan-base since he went to TNA",have you paid any attention to Youtube? Kids all over the world still adore & love Hardy,as they do Punk.

They are both extremely popular & this could be a good feud for Punk to give him a match at WM 29 instead of having him face Austin,in a less meaningful Mania. WM 30 is when he should face Austin, not WM 29 this would be a perfect opportunity to also see the long-awaited ending of the feud between Jeff Hardy & CM Punk, because it may not be announced publicly or said all the time, but I can tell they hate each other & always have, plus, personal beef always adds more spice to a feud.

My Wrestlemania 29 Dream Card:

Undertaker Vs The Rock
The Rock is supposedly going to wrestle at Summerslam & this so why not give him 'Taker? 'Taker doesn't really have anything set up for then I doubt they'll get Lesnar, they won't give us Triple H vs Undertaker 4(Hopefully),this is just the most logical solution.

WWE Championship
John Cena(c) Vs Randy Orton
The two big dogs in WWE right now & it'll stay that way for a while. They need to have a match here so Cena can face Taker at WM 30

World Heavyweight Championship
Cm Punk(c) Vs Jeff Hardy
Already explained.

Honestly, These are the best cards for WM 29 you got. Okay, first off, the Main Event for my WM29 card would be:

Undertaker vs. Triple H and Shawn Micheals (DX)
it would be the retirement match for undertaker. He has faced Shawn two years in a row, now it will be HHH two years in a row. And Undertaker loses and they all retire. Period. End the so called ERA. Why not. Or let Undertaker never be beat at Wrestlemania and the real wrestling fans will have to hear about it for the rest of all lives. Big Deal. History doesn't remember who won how many times or who lost. Its if you had the best match or not. But its the main event, cause taker deserves it.

WWE Title Match: Punk(champ) vs. Rhodes(royal rumble winner) Everybody wants Punk/Austin. Lets be real, that isnt going to happen. So, Let's say Punk/Rhodes. Punk is the natural rebel, and Rhodes is the pure blood, second generation wrestler. Match would be unreal.
And the bonus, the belt is the old winged eagle one. Im sick of the Bling-Bling belt. Haha, who designed it, Chris Brown. He shouldn't be mentioned in this post anyway. The old belt will add the storyline, since rhodes brought the old IC belt back.

Heavyweight Championship: Christian(champ)vs. Jericho vs. Orton vs. Miz This fatal four way match would definetly deliver. Turn miz face. He could be excellent at it. But make him a defiant face. CENA face sucks, "yall have the right to boo me, because you paid for it." Shut your mouth Cena and turn heel like everybody else does or go away. Anyway, this match could be a legendary match if done right.

IC and US. Ladder match. Ziggler(IC) vs. Kofi(US) Combine the belts. I agree with let their be one undercard champion. Just one. Who needs two major titles and two undercard titles seriously. In this one have just a champion vs. champion in a ladder match. Steal the show.

Women's title battle royal. Give every diva a slot on the card. But make it quick and skimpy with an amazing climax at the end. With Kharma being eliminated by a returning and surprising diva like Mickie James.

Tag match. Bring back the Hart Dynasty. The Usos (champs)vs. Hart Dynasty. and 3 on 3. include Tamina and Natalya, or if possible, a 4 on 4 including superfly Snuka and The Anvil. Great storyline possible there.

Submission Match. Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan. Winner gets a #1 contender's match for summerslam. Incorporate a storyline for the next big original four PPV's. Make bret hart the special ref/enforcer for the match, since he won an epic submission match at WM13.

Cena vs. Ryder. Let that storyline continue. Turn Ryder Hardcore Heel. Let him ruin Cena's matches for an entire year. Make it worth wild.

Barrett vs. Big Show

Kane vs Mark Henry

R-Truth vs. Dibiase

The opening match: Mysterio vs. Hunico vs. Bourne vs. Gabriel

I wish the WWE would go back to the days of Wrestlemania being a huge card. Whats the deal with there being only eight matches. I understand some of it, but really. Its the biggest show of the year. Let it go for a longer time. Make it a longer show than any other. The event is called Wrestlemania, correct? Then, have plenty of matches so it can stand by its name.

If I'm not dream booking and using the current roster. This is my line up for Wrestle....Maniiaaaaaaaa (Vince McMahon voice)

The Undertaker vs The Rock for THE STREAK
Rock says he always loves a new challenge and wants to beat the streak. Undertaker says he wants a new challenge to conquer as well and accepts.

WWE Title Match
CM Punk (c) vs HHH
Make this McMahon vs Stone Cold but booked the right way with HHH full heel trying to keep CM Punk as the face of the WWE.

WHC Match
Christian (c) VS Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler

John Cena vs Chris Jericho Retirement Match
Jericho makes another return but as a face against Cena. Jericho has never defeated John and Jericho challenges Cena. Cena accepts only if Jericho puts his career on the line and so he can't make another comeback.

Del Rio vs Daniel Bryan Submission Match US Title
Both have been tapping people out all year. Both say they have the better submission finisher so they make it a submission match.

Big Show vs Sheamus
(Battle of the Dominant Brawlers)

Kharma vs Natalie Neidhart vs Beth Phoenix Divas Title

MITB
Cody Rhodes vs Wade Barrett vs The Miz vs Zack Ryder vs Santino Marella vs Justin Gabriel vs R-Truth

Kofi Kingston vs Rey Mysterio IC Title
Kofi turns on Rey and says he is the standard highlight reel in the WWE. Rey's time is over and finished.

John Cena vs The Undertaker @ next year's WrestleMania...

Submission Match

Either Undertaker's streak ends... or Cena's "Never Say Die" attitude fails him and he finally breaks down by submitting.

I'm personally not a big fan of submission matches because they're rarely done where the finish isn't a totally predictable setup.

----

Randy Orton vs Stone Cold Steve Austin @ next year's WrestleMania

Viper vs Rattlesnake... RKO vs Stunner

Similar nicknames, similar finishing maneuvers (sorta, although the Diamond Cutter would be the catalyst that'd connect the two)

Seems like it could be marketable. However if Austin isn't in condition to compete in a ring, I'd love to see DDP make a one-time appearance and take on Randy Orton.

----

And finally... (this would never happen but it'd be an awesome dream match)

CM Punk vs Kurt Angle

=====

P.S.

One match I'd love to see (non-WM match) would be a Survivor Series style match between:

Al Snow, Brooklyn Brawler (insert famous Jobbers from the past here) vs Jobbers from the current era

Trying to promo that match would be interesting to say the least.

I like this idea and would love to see this match lead to Cena turning heel by cheating to end the streak. I would have Cena do waht the Rock did against Foley on there I Quit match by playing a pre-recorded Taker saying I Quit. Cena could claim to be the only one to defeat Taker at WM while everyone will know Cena cheated and Taker really didn't give up.

I would keep this up until the road to WM 30 where Taker returns to take back what Cena stole from him. At WM 30 it could be Cena vs Taker 2 where Taker puts up his career and maybe somehow the streak could either be involved or we could leave it at 20-1 going into WM 30. I would have Taker beat Cena and then have him retire feeling he has done it all.

So everyone have their eyes set on Wrestlemania 28...and the excitement is high...but I'm going to take a different route here...Because I want to talk about Wrestlemania 29...Its too early but still...

I'm writing this because I think there's gonna be a rematch...a Wrestlemania 28 rematch...The Rock was John Cena...

I have a few reasons to call this...
First... The Rock has confirmed his status for WM29...which most certainly means he's going to wrestle...
Now, this years WM match between the two can have just one winner John Cena...This is something most people have guessed...
Reasons...well, Cena is the company's no1 man...They would think twice before Making him lose at WM and that too to a man whose not going to be in the wwe permanently...Its also Rock's hometown so obviously he'll be cheered and Cena is not going to have any support...To make the no1 man lose so badly is out of question...So, most probably Cena will win...

But then we have the Rock...who was an integral part of wwe...a superstar...an judging by the way the interaction has been taking place between the Rock and Cena...he wont like losing...So, I guess he will get his payback at WM29...

Moreso, I think WM29 would be the last match of the ROck and he will be inducted in the HOF next year itself...but unlike most people he will end his career with a win that too against Cena...

WWE knows this is one match which no matter how many times it takes place...it will be a success...

Punk and Austin definitely. You just feel like there's some real tension there. But in a way both guys are similar in trying to break through the mold. I think Punk got more of a chance on the indie scene then Austin did. But I also think Punk wants to be as big as Austin was in his prime, therefore there could be a real feud.

NOPE, i think u did it backwords. i would have rocky win this wrestlemania and CENA asks for a rematch at the next WM, and JOHN CENA gets himself better and starts training himself, and reinvent himself a tiny bit. Maybe he could start wearing actual wrestling tights as in he realizes he needs to take rocky seriously and is learning from his mistakes. Then at Wrestlemania he gets the victory finally achieving what he wanted to acomplish

i agree with what you said, i think there might be a rematch of wrestlemania 28, but i doubt that cena will win this year, simply because the rock fans will not be interested in a rematch if he loses this year. i also think that undertaker and triple h might have another match at wm29 because of the fact that younger talents in wwe at the moment are not at the standard to face undertaker at mania, maybe it could be jericho or orton, but other than these three i dont see anyone being built up to match undertaker and feel like a threat to his streak, but then its wwe it's always full of swerves.

People have been mentioning this as a possibility, along with a match at Summerslam this year, making a three match series.

I'm personally hoping this doesn't happen, for a few reasons.

One, the buildup for this match has been so extreme, since it was announced a year ago, it's split people into mainly two groups: those who are really hyped for the match, and those who are tired of the hype and just want it to get here already. If there were to be other matches, neither group would view it as positive. Those who are really amped up for this match will probably not be as hyped for a second or third meeting. Those who are tired of the buildup aren't going to want to see it again, even though they probably won't anounce the matches as far away as they did with this one.

Two, if Rock is going to wrestle at Summerslam this year and Wrestlemania next year, there are many others he could put over rather than rehashing a battle with Cena. Have him feud with Miz or Ziggler or maybe even Cody, one of the young guys on the brink who could benefit from a feud with Rock. Not saying Cena can't benefit, but he's already the face of the company.

Three, I just personally think having only one match between Cena and Rocky would be better. More matches down the road just won't have the same feel and may slightly diminish this one on hindsight. Although, if they do have a third match at next year's Mania, both having won one match, it could be pretty huge too. I'd still rather not see it, though.

Even if they do go this route, and have the three match series, it's more than likely Cena will win this match. If the Rock wins, I can't see a (storyline) reason he would grant Cena a rematch. He would have proven his point that he's better than Cena, why risk facing him again? Unless something happens during the match and Cena doesn't win clean, I think there are more reasons for a victorious Cena to give Rocky a rematch than vice versa.

All scenarios have to end with Cena winning, though. So wether it's one match this year, or three matches and it ends at WM 29, Cena has to win . Even if WM 29 is Rock's last match ever, I can't see them putting him over Cena. It's one thing when Big Show loses to celebs at Mania, it's another to have the face of your company lose to a barely part-time wrestler, no matter how good he was 8 or 9 years ago.

I don't think so. This year's match is an event. A rematch would need something more than this part time feud to provide the same or at least similar excitement. There's also no guarantee this year's match will deliver the buys or excitement to justify a rematch a year from now.

The only thing that might add to what they are doing this year is adding the title. It may happen as WWE has shown they like to milk whatever they can out of anything but I hope they can put something new together in the next year for WM 29.

John Cena vs The Undertaker
CM Punk vs Steve Austin
WWE Championship Match: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes
World Heavyweight Championship Match : Sheamus vs Wade Barrett
Street Fight: Mick Foley vs Dolph Ziggler
M.I.T.B Ladder Match : Christian,Alberto Del Rio,Daniel Bryan,Kofi Kingston,Chris Jericho,The Miz,Jack Swagger and Zack Ryder
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Big Show and Santino vs Kane and Mark Henry
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Booker T vs Drew McKintyre
WWE Divas Championship Match: Kharma vs Kelly Kelly.

Id be very happy to see this lol.

Nope, I agree with another post that says Rock will win this year, Cena wins next year.

BUT, I don't think it will be so easy for John Cena to get his rematch. Apparently The Rock is wrestling at SummerSlam this year, so maybe this year he'll be around more than this past year. If he is, then I'm calling The Rock to win the title, maybe not as early as SummerSlam, but maybe so

If they have Cena-Rock II, They have to make it more intresting than this one, because the build got stale over a year. So next year, i'm calling John Cena to beat Rock at WM29.

Have the build basically about how Cena's sick of Rock talking trash about how great he his, can walk away for 7 years and come back and be the champ again blah blah blah, Cena can have his match if he wins the Rumble yadda yadda yadda, Cena wins as the #1 entrant. Beats Rock at Mania bam game over

(The only reason I said Cena wins as #1 entrant is becaus A) I think it would make a little cooler build and B) I bet Vince wants someone to win at #1 so Beniot isn't the last person to do so)

Maybe i'm way out in left field, but if the plan is to build via sattelite 35% of the time, in person 20% and not even mention it 45% of the time, then no thanks.

Could be really ugly, or could be gold, basically I see Rock winning at 28, Cena going on a "Rocky Balboa" thing and winning at 30

Cena will win this year. How do you hype this match for a year and then have your top star lose (at least clean) to a guy who hasn't wrestled in 7 years save for SS? I don't care who he is or where the match is, or a best of 3 series it just doesn't make sense to have Cena lose this match, and I don't think a rematch is a good idea because you'll never match the hype generated by this match again especially after people have already seen it once.

(The only reason I said Cena wins as #1 entrant is becaus A) I think it would make a little cooler build and B) I bet Vince wants someone to win at #1 so Beniot isn't the last person to do so)

Benoit might have been last one to do it but not many remembers him for that the guy they remember entering at #1 and winning is the 1st guy to do it Shawn Michaels. If Vince was to have Cena enter at #1 and win it would have nothing to do with Benoit and more to make it look like its doubtful Cena will win it.

However I am hoping there no Cena vs Rock rematch or Taker vs Triple H for WrestleMania 29. As far as nobody to challenge and be a threat to taker if WWE works Sheamus properly this year and he has a good Mania then he could be the guy next year if not there are people who believe takers streak will be broken next year by the only guy Vince will let break it John Cena.

NOPE, i think u did it backwords. i would have rocky win this wrestlemania and CENA asks for a rematch at the next WM

I completely agree. I don't see how interest could be high in any Rock match if he loses at WM 28. I don't know if the rematch should be at WM 29 or Summer Slam though, but I think if they had a best of three series people would get a little tired of it.

You're probably right. That seems to be the trend in WWE these days.

Undertaker has been feuding with Shawn/Hunter at Mania since 2009. Thats 4 straight years where Taker's been involved with one of those guys.

So it wouldn't surprise me at all if Cena/Rock meet at Mania next year.

These multi year long feuds can be viewed one of two ways. It shows a continuity in Wrestlemania storylines from year to year. Or it shows a lack of creativity to come up with anything new mostly due to a lack of depth in the roster when it comes to bonafide main eventers. I lean more towards the latter.

What made Save/Steamboat, Hogan/Warrior, and many other classic matches so memorable, is that they were one time events. There was no Savage/Steamboat rematch at Manias 4 and 5. There was no Ultimate Challenge 2 won by Hogan so that both he and Warrior walked away with at least 1 win each so that both men could walk away from the feud looking equally strong. No. It was just a one time event. That's what Rock/Cena should be. But I doubt it will be.

If Undertaker vs HHH/Shawn can still be going on 4 years later, then there's a very good chance Rock/Cena extends long past this years match. If they do meet again next year, it will mean the Rock/Cena feud began in 2011, carried over into 2012, and finally ended in 2013. Which would mean 3 straight Mania's of Rock/Cena. You can have too much of a good thing. I sincerely hope they dont beat this Rock/Cena feud to death the way they have Taker/DX.

Unless they have a compelling story for John Cena following Mania that requires him to lose and is important to his character development (I don't necessarily mean a heel turn), there is absolutely NO reason for him to lose. I'm not completely against the two having a rematch next year, but, once again, a good story and a different build would have to be there to make it work. I prefer they don't have a rematch, at least at Mania 29, because I fear we would see the same verbal bashings between the two that we've seen for the past year. The Rock needs a new opponent for next year. This has been said plenty of times, but I'm of the same opinion: your top star does not need to lose to a guy who has been away for this long, no matter who it is (unless there's a reason and a story to support that reason).

Like many Internet John Cena fans, I'm more of a fan of the "man" than the wrestling character who always wins. Though I'm slowly losing interest in The Rock, I'm still a fan of his as well. But I'll be sitting on a couch April 1, 2012, as a proud one-night-only member of the CeNation.

As always, get over yourselves and enjoy some wrestling.

Orton has already been in three WrestleMania main event matches. That's more than some people get in their entire careers.

With his injuries, he will be lucky to last more than 3 or 4 more years. With that said, I doubt he will ever headline again. He hasn't the last 3 years and I doubt that will change.

I don't see Rock/Cena again next year. The rematch will more than likely be at Summerslam. People are already starting to lose some interest now, so seeing it go on a whole second year is pretty lame. I expect WM and S.Slam then it's over. Rock has confirmed he will be there next year, but hopefully he will face someone else.

That End of Eras match would more than likely never happen. Stone Cold vs. CM Punk would be better, the one on one matches are always better. The promos would be awesome and the match no doubt very good. The End of Eras match OP mentioned has too many big stars in it, the promos would be too clustered and confusing for some fans.
