I love how everyone is saying how they're giving up watching Raw for Impact. One problem with that: you could have watched it even if Raw was great tonight. They're on at different times on different nights. You can watch both like quite a few people do with no bearing on the other one.

And here we have more proof that TNA is light years behind WWE, at least on here: tonight is perhaps the worst Raw in years. It still has more posts than anything from Impact or TNA perhaps ever.

Aight.. so last time i watched an episode of Impact..... some black dude was acting like randy savage, and some dude that dressed like a shark or something was acting like stone cold..

I guess I should thank Vince for booking such an awful show tonight. He's certainly gave me a lot of material to use this week for threads.

This is why I want to get more TNA people on here though...Try to blur the lines a bit...
Lethal still has the Macho Man gimmick, and Shark Boy is employed, but hasn't appeared...You need to just tune in and see what's going on.

It's sad that because of tonight, there is really no need to watch WWE until AFTER Wrestlemania...Cena says he won't lose until he wins the belt back.
Which means he will win this tournament, win the Royal Rumble if he hasn't regained it back by then, and win at Wrestlemania.
You know how WWE is, they did shit like this before.

It has been an extreme letdown, with very little wrestling for a 3 hour show. I, however, enjoyed a couple things
- The idea of Bret Hart hosting RAW
- I enjoy the DX merch segments, and this one was good.
- Zack Ryder made a RAW appearance, and as a Ryder fan, that was good, regardless of the outcome.
- if somebody duct tapes the mouth of the annoying girl screeching that would make RAW acceptable.
- As a Yankee fan, announcing Johnny Damon for next week made my night.

Yep, and I'll bet anything he's going to say it was awesome. FTS is such a hardcore WWE mark.

Did anyone hear Cole say, "shoot the half?", then right after that, there was a two and a half count? Cole 'effed up.
He's a pretty big TNA mark too...You never know what he'll say.

So we'll get at longest a l10 minute match. After the AWESOME Raw and PPV though, this isn't bad at all. That's the thing: WWE can turn it on at will, which they'll do in time for TNA's big debut, which if it's even the slightest bit off, won't work.
In other words, TNA is hoping that they're absolutely perfect based more or less on the input of one man that hasn't been relevant in mainstream wrestling in years to the point where he manages to do what the entire company has been able to do in nearly 8 years: make TNA look legit to the public. They're also hoping that Vince and WWE won't blow them away by turning it on and drawing every fan they have back with a huge name like Rock or Bret and getting the people to say that WWE still has it and forgetting about TNA. This is, of course, TNA's battle plan to draw something close to even with WWE and then by some miracle manage to do it more than once at another time.
Anyone else starting to get my skepticism/

how is that screwing up? "Shooting the half" refers to turning a wrestler from his stomach to his back by way of a half nelson. Maybe he did that (My Slingbox window is covered by Firefox, so I can't see what happened).
