Punk's credibility has been gone for a while. He was squashed in the opening match of a PPV, he's been losing to the midcard since before he lost the title, and he's been hanging out with Festus. This is a sign that Edge is coming back, and the smartass heel role is more expertly filled.

Not really, he's still main eventing Smackdown most weeks, he was just fighting for the World Title last month. The WWE is trying their best to kill his credibility but it's still there because of just how good he is.

Edge better at the heel role than CM Punk? Nonsense. Maybe five years ago when the Rated R gimmick was still interesting. Now it's super-tiresome. That, and I'd bet you my entire income that Edge will be returning as a face (it's pretty damn obvious FTS).

Punk should win the Rumble damnit!

Yeah Edge was interesting for about 6 months. Now he's the Goldust of Smackdown: a gimmick in name only.

I love edge. His simply awesome and he's one of my fav stars in the company.

I've been one of those people who've always liked him. His mic skills are amazing and his in ring ability is pretty good. I've always enjoyed the Rated R gimmick, and in this era of wrestling, is probably as good as its going to get. We sure as hell aren't going to be getting anything like we did in the Attitude era like we did with his gimmick. It's alright, but he'll most likely be coming back as a face anyways, so it doesn't matter.
