Are they somehow saying that ESPN/Maxim/and whatever the hell the third one get .5 readers per copy and WWE gets 2 readers per copy because they charge too much to share? That literally makes no sense.

It's a stat that can't be truthfully verified. Triple H simply made it up.

Do they not understand that Heyman can't use Axel like he uses Lesnar? Saying you're going to send Axel after Punk doesn't sound like the same kind of threat.

Let's say your newsstand has ten copies of WWE magazine and ten people come and buy a copy. That's one reader per copy. The same newsstand has forty copies of SI and twenty people come and buy a copy. That's half a reader per copy. So even though SI sold twice as many copies they have fewer readers per copy since they had four times as many copies available.
