My game this week was such an adventure, that I need to write about it, it was that awesome.
--------------
I kicked off, and the Titans drove down the field easily and kicked a 39 yard FG. I then matriculate the ball down the field into enemy territory, and pitch the ball to Leon Washington, who gets lit the f up, fumbles, and they bring it to the house. after a 3 & out for me, I punt and pin them relatively deep in their own zone. Well, they drive to the 42, and I hold them. Do they punt? NO! Rob Bir-f'n-onas nails a 59 YARD FIELD GOAL. I punt again, and Chris Johnson (who was a beast all game) had some sort of defense magnet in him and he runs around (not evades tackles, but just run around defense who was alergic to running backs). I am now down 20-0, and about to throw the controller. But instead I try to score a TD and get myself back in the game. I do just that with a 50 yard screen to Thomas Jones.
I receive the kick to start the second half, and move into field goal range for Jay Feeley (the coolest kicker in football, because he wears gloves and arm bands, and is on twitter), Feeley makes it (cause he is the man), and I proceed to let the Titans drive down the field for a TD (now I am down 17 again). The VERY FIRST PLAY after the kickoff, I throw a 77 yard TD pass to some rookie guy I signed who is a 73 overall. After exchanging punts into the beginning of the 4th quarter, I move the ball downfield again, firing a 35 yard TD strike to Marvin Harrison to bring me to within 3. They punt, and I am forced to punt with 230 to go, forced to use all my timeouts, and get the ball back with 1:30 to go. I go no-huddle, and get the ball to the 20 with 23 seconds to go, and run the clock down before nailing a game tying fieldgoal.
Overtime comes, and I win the toss. I move to my own 42 yard line, where I face a 4th and 2. Debating whether or not to go for it (I was afraid that Chris Johnson would just run down the field like he did all game), I actually pause the game to think about it, I decide to punt. Miraculously, I was able to hold the Chris Johnson's to a 3 & out, and they punt. Using plain old "Punt Return Mid," Leon Washington (the best punt returner in the AFC), gets a blocker, cuts to the right, and heads down the sideline, 62 yards, for the game winning TD.

This game was such an emotional back-and-forth contest, that when Leon Washington dove in the end zone, I literally got up and started pumping my fist. This was by far the hardest game of Madden I ever played, and it was against the computer.
By the way, watch out all of you when you play the Titans, because Chris Johnson is a f'n beast.
