Ya I have to agree with Will and call bullshit on the EA servers. The first came was getting out of control, but I atleast made it reasonable until Will pulled away again. But the second game was atrocious for me. He was killing me left right and centre. I feel bad for Will too because he's having great games go to waste. I mean we only had 3 minutes left in the second game, what the hell.

BTW, sorry for the lack of competition Will I just can't get anything going at all. Fuck DeAngelo Williams, the man breaks every tackle. As for the game, I can probably play later tonight if you are still awake. We can discuss a time here.
 
Hey, did anybody notice that we already had a tie a cpu vs. cpu game? The Bucs and Bills tied in their week 2 matchup. I find it amusing that in almost every season of a franchise I do, there is at least 1 tie; yet in the NFL, there is a tie like once every 6 years or something.
 
Meh Will is just slightly under me when it comes to skill level. As long as I don't fuck up with mistakes like throwing unnecessary difficult passes and Peterson doesn't fumble, I'm good. Don't get me wrong, Will is right there with me, and I'm looking forward to our game come Week 15.

Oh and I crushed the 49ers 59-10. Harvin had 240+ yards and Favre had 6 TD passes.
 
Random bump just to remind those who haven't yet played, that Week 3 needs to get wrapped up.

We still have; Marquis, Moon Knight, Love Song Writer & Mr. PPV.

Also.. I'd like to bring up a possible issue. When you have human v. human opponents, if you find yourself having major difficulty playing against each other to the point the game is CONSTANTLY quitting on you in the 3rd/4th quarter.

If one of you is winning by a large enough margin that the game is basically over. I'd recommend one of you leaving the game, and allowing the cpu to finish it up for you. DO NOT QUIT, without your opponent being okay with you doing it, however. This way, it won't "disconnect" both of you - forcing you to replay the game.. over, and over, and over, and over.

Simpsons_fanatic & I had to play 5 different times before it finally randomly kicked ME (only) from the game, with 2 minutes exactly left in the 4th. He asked if he should finish against the cpu, since it was a big enough difference, and I said yes. So, thankfully, our game is finally done.

ANOTHER OPTION: If you're both okay with it, I can turn injuries OFF and simulate your game - with each of you taking the chance that one will win and one will lose. Then after simming the week/game, I can re-turn on the injuries.
 
Am I the only person who never seems to have a server problem when playing someone online? The only time I get disconnected is when some moron is getting their ass kicked and they unplug their system/internet connection or go to the dashboard. Everyone talks about the servers sucking, and I have had no problems yet.
 
I dont even know if Love Song Writer will continue after the whooping i gave him. Not being cocky, im being serious. I would PM him
 
To respond to your rep, you are being cocky. How on earth is saying you compelely killed someone NOT being cocky? You could have simply said "I dunno if he'll come back, might want to check into that."

Thats what happened to me against the Falcons, Finneran was out of bounds, just standing there with no defender within 5 yards of him..He comes back in bounds and catches a 45 yard TD. He wasn't even pushed out.

Tie game, 1:20 to go, my ball on my 35, 3 timeouts. Then the server drops my game. I fucking jinxed myself by talking about it. Thankfully this was just a ranked game, and not part of the franchise.

That being said, I made up for it my next game. I was playin some moron who didn't know what he was doing (he ran a Punt block safe man on a 2nd down for some reason like 4 times). Final score was 63-7 me. I recovered 2 onsides, threw 6 scores, and Leon Washington had 120 yards rushing on 5 carries (only 6 yards after first contact).

I kid of course. I kinda consider myself a Vice Commish since I've been helping Will make decisions in regards to the franchise.
