Christian was the only individual who didn't get his game played. Albeit, he sent me a message saying he was going to get it played by midnight or so last night. Didn't happen. Well, you'll at least be happy to know you won your game through simulation. LOL

fucking hell man, my game just froze against The Love Song Writer with me ahead by 2 with a minute to go, and my game freezes because of the shit connection (not on my end, I never had it that bad before), he finished the game, and now I have a loss cause he drove down the field and kicked a field goal [edit: AFTER I GOT DISCONNECTED]. Now I am gonna be tied for the division lead, and all because somebody finished a game that I froze out of. fuckin hell.

PS: why the hell would someone quit when they have a lead, and I had stopped their offense before?

you don't know he wouldn't have drove down and kicked that field goal anyway. He has a pretty good record and for you to say he wouldn't have done so had you played is asinine.

Christian, you were and are out of line.

Disconnection in games happens a lot more than you, or anyone would think. The EA Servers are shit, and cause a lot of D/C toward the end of the game.

StormTrooper85 isn't the type of person that seems to quit, or suddenly just say "Whelp, I won - see ya." Besides, as he said why on earth would ANYONE quit when they're winning? Regardless of how much time is left.

Defending against an opponent, especially human, with a limited small amount of time left is easier than you'd think - mainly because the person losing becomes panicky. They could easily make mistakes, so its quite possible that StormTrooper could've won.

I'm not SAYING he WOULD HAVE, I'm saying he COULD HAVE.. just like LoveSongWrita could've beat him within the final seconds in the same manner he beat the cpu.

All in all the whole point of human/human games is communication. I'm not saying games don't end wrongly, or with misunderstanding. And in the end it should still get both players to the playoffs. But from here on, EVERYONE needs to communicate more.

If a game quits, try to find out what happened before you continue. ONLY continue, if it seems like your opponent has left the game because they were losing. Use your better judgment.

Its all about wins and loses to some. Hell, I love being undefeated. (I love stats more, though) I'll say this right now.. one of the games that ended w/ me and El Ratar could've easily ended with him winning and beating me. It D/C us, and we started over. It happens.

The only solid rule on this I'll want to uphold is to try your hardest IN THE PLAYOFFS to play all human/human games, from beginning to end - unless solid agreement is made - or one person is largely winning, without a comeback being realistically possible.

In the end, lets just chalk this up to a misunderstanding and an accident. StormTrooper said he wasn't upset, yet I've seen a lot of people attacking him for voicing his feelings on losing a game (his first loss) in which he wasn't even involved. I guarantee, if I were playing Ty, or anyone else who was also undefeated (much less, winning) and they got booted and I cont. against the cpu - came back, and won, they'd likely be upset as well. So, it happens to the best of us.

Lets try to move forward and just communicate better.

as Will said, for some people it is about wins and losses. I like to win (who doesn't), but the most important thing about the regular season for me is getting the 1 or 2 seed, and the first round bye in the playoffs. I had the 1 game lead on THREE 7-1 teams, and now we are all most likely going to be tied, which could lead to me ultimately being a 3 or 4 seed (or even a 5, since one of the teams is in my division). That was the main reason I wanted to win so badly, and was unhappy about how I lost. As long as none of my players got injured at the end of the game, then I'm over it.

8-2 is still a great record 10 games into the season, so don't be sad about being 8-2 after I win next week.
