Xbox 360: Madden 2010: Franchise Sign-Up

Yeah, WZ PMs never work right for me. I don't look if I don't get a notification, and WZ doesn't give Notifications so...yeah.

If you can get me on AIM or something of that nature, it'll be easier. Just message me like that whenever you can, I'm free -almost- all night. Though I do have class tomorrow, but its not till after noon.

They do give notifications. Go to Usep CP and select edit options. It is right there at the top.

The Final Week (17) of the Regular Season is now available to play.

DEADLINE: Friday - 11pm (central)

Playoff Storyline: Currently in the NFC we have a 3 way tie for 1st place overall. The New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers are all headed for what seems to be a 15-1 finish to the regular season.

In the AFC it seems as if the Jets and Patriots will fight for 1st place in their division, while the Jaguars look to sneak into 1st place in the AFC - depending on if the Pats lose in the final week, and the Jags win.

Also, the Chargers look to hold onto first place in their division, tied with the Broncos.. while the Colts look to attempt fighting their way into the final seed which is up in the air between the Broncos and Colts.

The Ravens and Steelers are also tied and could both find victories, which may play an outcome in the final seed for a Wildcard spot.

Shit, I didn't realize my Colts were so close to the bubble. I'll have to turn up the heat against Marvel in our game. ;)

Does anyone know who holds the tiebreaker between myself and Baller? INDYjon22 said he thinks that The Chargers do, but I would like to know for sure.

To be honest, I think not only will you have to win.. but you may also have to hope the Ravens/Steelers (one of, at least) and Broncos, all lose.

I may be wrong though. If you win, you may instantly just be in. So, yeah.. win. :lmao:

The Colts beat the Broncos, so if they let you have the tie-breaker over them you should be in. I think you'd still mainly need to win to be in though.

No pressure or anything, you're only facing one of the top two teams in the AFC right now though. :p

1. Baller hasn't rejoined and won't until after the Season ends.

2. For the previous 2 weeks the Chargers and Broncos have had a tied record, and yet the Chargers have been spotted above them.. which, to me, indicates the Chargers would go to the playoffs if both teams tied overall.

If the game goes off real life (which last year it didn't, since NO's beat Dallas and both finished with similar records, yet Dallas went to the Playoffs) the records show the Chargers have defeated the Broncos BOTH times they've met this season. Thus.. as long as you win against the Titans (which with how it shows in stats that you play, I can't imagine you'd lose) you should make the playoffs.

Let me make a small edit for you will. The Vikings with their win over the Redskins in a close defensive battle 14-10, have clinched at least the second seed in the NFC. The NFC South representative, whoever owns the tiebreaker will determine who's the first seed, and who's the second seed.

Well, Marquis is no longer in the league. Since he hasn't been able to get in contact with - and has decided to not try getting in contact with any of us, until he can explain whats up and come back to us.. he's gone.

That being said, the Saints have won at least 4 games this season by cpu simming. And they have a 4-11 opponent in the Bengals as their final game, so we may see a cpu team giving someone an accidental 'bye' to the NFC title game.

My question is, unless Carolina wins the division and gets the bye - since I have the tie-breaker over you.. if New Orleans wins the division/gets a bye, who gets the #1 seed? Ty, aren't your Vikings also likely to finish 15-1 - with that sole loss being to me?

It could be/would be huge for the playoffs to run through the dome as opposed to out-doors in possible weather.

Yeah I'm not sure who would be the number one seed. I didn't play New Orleans so there's no heads up matchup, both lost to an NFC team, the only thing I can think of is similar opponents, Saints are 1-1 against you and I"m 0-1. And who knows how the fuck Madden handles this, like you said look at last year with the Saints and Cowboys. Either way I have a bye week which is crucial. I get Peterson back for my first playoff game rather than trying to advance without him.

Unless we replace him with a former member of the league who was going to take the Broncos, but will take the Saints to finish the season, but who could it be? :)

Vikings go for dirty hits. I lost Sellers, Rodgers, and Moss at least once during that game and I think Sellers is out for a little while longer.

If you leave the league half way through, you won't be re-added in the Playoffs. Sorry Baller, you aren't getting a cheap bye into the Playoffs. Nor is anyone else.

Albeit, it looks like the NFC may be a guy short (4) to the AFC's 5 for the next season..

So, you can either stick with the Ravens next year, or join the NFCs roster with any available team. The only thing I'm going to say is.. NO.. to the Saints. Simply because I'm giving Marquis the chance to re-join, and at least give me an explanation on whats been going on with him.

No one is joining as the Saints until I either get ahold of Marquis, or more time has passed to the point that I believe he's just fallen off the face of the earth.

If I join the NFC, what teams would I be allowed to take that aren't the Cards?

Well, the following are in the NFC:

Ty - Vikings

Brian - Redskins
Simpsons_fanatic - Cowboys

Will - Panthers

SO, what that means is.. if you join any of our divisions you can fight for a division crown, or a wildcard spot and even if you join the division Brian and S_F are in, all of you could still potentially make the playoffs with a division crown and both wildcard spots.

SOOOOO.. you have the ability to pick any team in the NFC currently available, including the Saints - but ONLY IF Marquis does not get back to me by the time we begin a new season.

Also keep in mind, Ty doesn't like you. :lmao: Kidding, well, maybe.

Whatever team you do decide to take, you'll need to be here for our draft, so you can be sure to add players to your team. You may also want to check out what high profile players are no longer on selective teams.

Packers. Saints are an old team, and you would have to play (lose to) Will twice a year. with the Pack, you would have to play Ty twice a year, but Ryan Grant and Greg Jennings>>>>>Saints.

But you would have a better chance being an NFC West team, since there are no human players in that division. San Francisco has Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, and a top 10 draft pick (where you can get yourself a QB). It may be your best bet. Or St. Louis, which also needs a QB, but has Steven Jackson (still young) and a very good young o-line, not to mention a pretty good D).

The Packers mind you do not have Aaron Rodgers anymore, they have Jason Campbell due to Brian trading for Rodgers.
