I wish they would have gave the Rumble match more attention. That's basically the entire point of the PPV and it has barely been discussed at all. I do think it would be really cool if Christian could win the Rumble but all of us that isn't happening.
The problem is, the Rumble has been focused on superstars returning (for the recent years at least). At the moment, there are quite a few big names on injury (Triple H, Jericho, Christian, Undertaker) so everyone is anticipating that someone comes back. If someone does return from injury then it will be a "I told you so. This is too predictable." but if no one returns then it'd be a "This is boring, Triple H isn't back".
You will also have the Nexus members in the RR, new Nexus vs old Nexus with both trying to make their leader win which would add make it interesting. It'd be really cool for Bourne to return too even though I know he won't win, he could make a mark in it & hopefully get a push before WM.
I'm a bit worried that WWE might try to push Del Rio to win the Royal Rumble which would be horrible since he hasn't been in WWE long enough to win the title.
With 2 RAWs until the Rumble, I'm really hoping WWE will emphasize it more these next couple weeks and actually draw some attention. The only reason I would buy the PPV is for the Rumble and if it isn't discussed much then I'm not going to waste my money.
