WWE RAW Super Special Awesome Show 10/3/2011 - With WhOtunga, Lawsuits and ALBERTO!!!

So you would think this show was excellent then.

Wasn't A+ but it wasn't a D- of a show either. Had a ton of back to back wrestling, and almost a 30 minute tag match. At the end of the end of the night I wish they could have done more for building up next week but they made RAW the show that wrestling smarks always wanted. Not a ton of talking, but a lot of wrestling. Hell, even the promos tonight were a lot better than the usual crap we are given week in, week out.

The was the stupidest most illogical bullshit ending to a wrestling show I have ever seen, I mean I get home for work late, & the only segment on Raw I get to see is that last one. There is soooo much wrong with everything that happened at the end, with the big gapping flaw being that SHIT WAS MUCH WORSE WHEN VINCE WAS IN FUCKING CHARGE!!, oh and the fact that they are all under contract, and I'm betting set to make a good living in WWE, yet you're just gonna walk out on you job when the countries ecomony is shit and jobs are hard to find? fucking bullshit. There was not none single element of that segment that made any sense or makes me want to watch SD! Friday night, speaking of which, if all the wrestlers walked out, then how the fuck is Show gonna confront Henry? Fucking stupid, even TNA is smarter than this.

You talk about whose gonna confront Henry? Nobody is. According to their logic, Henry isn't gonna be there either. I think the only 6 wrestlers on the main rosters not out there were Kane, Big Show, Taker, Punk, Cena, and Orton. Really illogical ending. Now I can't wait to see the new news headline saying "WWE threatens legal action if contracted superstars don't show up for duty"

Still ******ed fucking ending.

Well the Superstars are signed as "independent contractors" So they're allowed to miss out on as much work as they want. However it is a stupid idea to no-show.

1. See general consensus on Raw ending
2. Disagree
3. ?????
4. Profit!

I hadn't read anyone's opinion prior to speaking my opinion it was lame, but it does appear more people have agreed with me than not since posting my opinion.

I see what Sly means by lame. I mean....where from here? Things will likely be the same on Thursday and we'll get a lot of talking about this next week leading up to Vengeance.

Not only that, but why would Jim Ross and Zach Ryder walk out on Triple H? They owe their very jobs to him. The referees are going to walk out because they got roughed up a little? Obviously they haven't been watching wrestling very long. ALL the Divas walked out because something MIGHT happen?

The whole thing was lame, not to mention childish at points. I could understand it if SOME of them had walked out, leading to a clear division in the company, but this was just silly.

I enjoyed the show but what confuses me is why people that have benefited from HHH being in charge (Ryder I'm looking at you) would vote no confidence

Jesus, why not just enjoy it instead of searching for every possible logic error you can find?

I thought it was a great, really intriguing ending that once again has me not sure as to where they're going next. Yes, there are things in it that don't make sense. But big picture wise, that was some damn good storyline progression and certainly made me want to watch next week.

Because they're all followers, so when one person goes the next follows. I mean sure they left because it is "unsafe" work enviroment but come on. EVERYONE besides the tope faces leave? I will watch next week for sure.

What was enjoyable about it? It was grown men whining like a bunch of babies, and then we spent the last ten minutes in silence while these same grown men walked away.

Literally, we just spent 10 minutes watching people walk AWAY from the ring. Let me repeat that, and contemplate the sheer ridiculousness of the statement. We just spent 10 minutes watching people walk AWAY from the ring.

That ending made the entire roster look like a bunch of *****es, seriously you want Miz & Truth to stop attacking talent then beat the shit out of them like you do any other person who tries to jump you in the ring or backstage. Also the whole "Unsafe working environment" thing, seriously, you mean to tell me that you working in an industry were to try and beat people to the point where they can't lift the shoulder is a unsafe working environment? NOOO!!! you're kidding!!. Beth using the "We're Girls" line also seem so far out of character, & ******ed especially since her & Nattie are the ones causing the most shit in the divas division.

Well, not knowing who was going to walk and who was going to stay, for one. The uncertainty of it and hearing the crowd root for Triple H while the superstars were unsure and getting ready to leave was pretty great. The cameramen leaving was a really nice touch. I know I was certainly into it when JR was the only one left. It took a while, sure, but now there are so many questions and that's what makes me want to tune into SmackDown and next week's Raw.

Same with someone like Henry. He's done very well under HHH. He's spent the last month and a half talking about how the last 15 years sucked and now he wants to get rid of the guy that his fortune changed under? I get that he's a heel, but it's kind of a stretch. He had to go to the back though as he would have been cheered otherwise.

Nothing was enjoyable as it was clear everyone was going to leave. It killed the whole flow of the show. I think Russo wrote this.

There was really only one problem I saw with that closing segment. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I know it's all kayfabe and that we are all guilty of over analysis from time to time. But no matter what way I massage this around in my mind, it simply doesn't make sense. The divas have no reason for non confidence. The refs don't either, except for all of the reasons that they would have had in pro wrestling forever. What exactly was Jerry Lawler's problem? Or good ole JR, who was hired back by Triple H? Or Booker T for that matter? Most of the wrestlers would have no reason to oppose Triple H, except for a handful of the heels.

This must have been a tougher week than I thought. It seems like a Thursday night on another TV station.

Wasn't clear to me. I knew the heels and the referees would leave. Had no idea that the faces, commentators, ring announcer, and cameramen would.

You could also throw in that it's stupid from Beth as she was in the Rumble against men and eliminated some in 2010. Now she's afraid? Oh wait Kelly might be out there so she can't feel safe. Man has this feud messed Beth up.

Doubtful. Russo wouldn't have written a segment like that where the only people who benefit are the 40+ year old retired Triple H, the 60 year old retired Jerry Lawler and the old non-wrestling Johnny Ace.

Keep in mind, I'm talking about just tonight. I have no doubt that tonight's angle is the beginning of the build for Survivor Series.

Still, for tonight, it was lame.
