WWE RAW LD 7/11/2011 - This Fire Burns

Man, I liked the work from King and Cole on this match, it was a wrestling debate that Cole won in my view.

Some things are more important to individuals than money Sly. And CM Punk, very clearly, is a man who cares more about his personal principles (straight edge for example) than he does about money. I'd bet good money that Punk would happily sit at home on his ass doing nothing for the next few years than ever swallow his pride, go back on his word, and sign with TNA.
If money isn't important, then why was the major sticking point reportedly his name?

That's the part I'm saying is silly. CM Punk was reported to not re-sign with the WWE because the WWE wants him to sign over his name. Why not sign it over, because of "personal principles"? No, you don't sign it over for monetary reasons.

And if you're not working in the WWE or TNA, then it would be stupid to not sign over for monetary reasons considering you're not making any money off of your name anyways.

...What? That's absolutely, positively 100% false. Successful companies sell themselves constantly. Are you not familiar at all with the business world?
Successful companies sell themselves to make a profit, not to become underlings. Unless they're like TNA and need the revenue to stay alive.

WCW is proof of what happens when you don't control your own destiny. And if you really think ROH sold out for any reason other because they needed cash, you're just being willfully ignorant.

I mean, what's the benefit for ROH to sell out, if not for revenue?

New Michael McGillicutty gimmick idea. He becomes 'Curt Hennig's Cumstain' or CHC. But, just like Triple H, you forget what it stands for after a while. Michael McGillicutty - the next Triple H.

In the opening promo they said "wrestler" about 4 times.

To the idiot's that though WWE weren't gonna say "wrestling or wrestler" anymore, your proven wrong. And this isn't the first time.

I've been saying that for the past two weeks.

Don't steal my line, I increased the amount I said it after Vince said "wrestling organization."

That's because this angle is all about breaking the fourth wall and Punk being a loose cannon. I felt the way you're feeling until I heard Randy Orton in an interview actually say that they couldn't say wrestling.
