But y'know tonight is all business. The Nexus has had a problem with me since Day 1 and it's time I dealt with this. And with the backup I got, it's going to easy as 1,2,3. Just watch and see.

Well, Punk I got Good News and Bad News for you. The Good News for you is that I only have one Tag Team Partner. Before I bring him out, I would like to address you of something. Back when The Nexus belonged to Wade Barrett, they did the unthinkable and under his control, they put The Undertaker out of action. Well, the Bad News for YOU Punk, is that HIS problem, is now YOUR Problem.

Avitus25's Review of Mr. HD's 31st Jan Raw

To start with, I'm in now way an expert on these, i've just started my own Book This a few days ago, so what I write is just my opinion and that might not be the most educated of opinions...

- Really liked the opening scene, with Christian choosing his Wrestlemania opponent and the Main Events being set for the night. You really seem to have the promos nailed, good length too.

- Think pretty much everyone on BT's is going for Christian vs Edge at the minute so I'm looking forward to seeing if you can make it that extra bit special that'll set it out from the others.

- Bryan beating Tatsu, thought that'd be the result, but nonetheless the match was entertaining to read. I like the way you write matches, it's got a fast pace to it and that gets the reader involved.

- Good win for Sheamus, I'm interested to see where you go with him. I know in my BT he's a bit aimless at the minute, so I'm interested in what ideas you have taking him forward.

- Christian v Miz match was especially good, Edge's interference makes sense and looks like it'll get the feud off to a good start, I like the idea of Edge running away from Christian too, really puts him over a threat. I'm looking forward to seeing who Miz's opponent will be as well... Got a few guesses but not sure yet.

- DH Smith & The Great Khali? Not a tag team I expected to see, so again I'll be interested to see how you use them, makes sense for Smith to bring in someone big to counter Andrews though... Good match again.

- I like that you use a lot of tag team matches, looks like it might help to breath life back into the tag division, and I like the way you're using the Naturals to do that too...

- I like the idea that Undertaker has come for revenge on Nexus, but I don't really understand why Cena would only get one tag team partner and put himself at a disadvantage. Maybe just a line or two of Cena saying that his partner is so great he doesn't need any extra help, or saying that he's not scared of Nexus etc. Maybe just something to explain it?

- I like the tension between Cena and Undertaker. Even though not everyone is a fan of Cena, the two biggest stars in the WWE looking like they're going to face off still gets a lot of people salivating... myself included.

- Overall, really liked the show, the spacing is good, and your matches and promos are all really good. Only a few little suggestions that I would do to improve. A lot of these are personal preference, but it's difficult to offer any advice that isn't.

- Maybe add titantrons in? Really set the atmosphere?

- It might be a good idea to try and add some commentary in? As filler between scenes, or just to break the action up a little bit? It can help to guide the reader through.

- One thing I would say... maybe put description in a different font/with italics so it's easier to tell the difference between speech and description. I know you've left gaps, but for me it's just easier if they look different too.

He gets in the ring and asks for a mic and before he speaks, the fans start booing which makes Edge smile and laugh a little.

Edge:
Before I get to my brother Christian, I would like to remind everybody what I said in this ring last week on SmackDown.

He points to the titantron and it shows a replay of last week on SmackDown when Edge said he guaranteed a win over Kane.

Edge:
Here I stand in the middle of this ring, STILL YOUR World Heavyweight Champion. How does it feel when you know that you people are not only wrong, but absolutely stupid. I told all of you that I was going to leave Boston with The World Title and I made good on that guarantee. Now, I can just sit back and relax until I meet my brother at WrestleMania. And while I’m on that little subject…….

Before he can finish.....

Theodore Long’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring!

Teddy Long:
Lemme holla at ya playa! Edge, you got it all twisted Homie. You still think you run SmackDown when you really don’t

Fans cheer.

Now then, you guaranteed a win over Kane and here you are still Champion. Congratulations.

Edge starts smiling and holds up his title towards the crowd.

Teddy Long:
But however, you didn’t beat Kane 1,2,3. You held on to your title by getting Disqualified. So, in other words, you did NOT beat Kane and he is entitled to a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship!

Fans pop and Edge looks pissed.

And I have just the match. A match where there are no disqualifications, no countouts and there are no excuses. In 3 weeks, at No Way Out, Edge will defend the World Title against Kane in a Last Man Standing Match!

Fans pop loudly.

Michael Cole:
Oh My God! Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out!

Teddy Long:
You remember? The match where you pretty much brought back the old Kane. Let’s see if you can do it this time around. Good Luck Playa!

Oh, and as far as your opponent for WrestleMania goes. You know? Your brother, Christian? Don't worry about him. He will be in Singles Competition as he takes on Dolph Ziggler and you Edge being the defending Champion that you are, you will defend The World Heavyweight Championship tonight against Rey Mysterio!

Holla Holla Holla!

Long leaves the ring as Edge is standing in there and he doesn't know what, or how to feel.

Matt Striker:
What a Blockbuster announcement from the General Manager!

Michael Cole:
Edge will have to defend the World Title against Rey Mysterio tonight and to make matters worse, he'll have to go up against Kane in a Last Man Standing Match at No Way Out in 3 weeks! Oh My!

Congratulations Christian. You won The Royal Rumble. But I have a problem with that Amigo. It was supposed to be MY Royal Rumble. It was supposed to be MY year. It was MY Destiny and you took it away. It was supposed to be the WrestleMania of Alberto Del Rio!! But I'm sure you already knew that.

I have come to accept that because I am out here saying that since we were the last 2 SmackDown Superstars in the Royal Rumble, it’s only fair that you and me face off at No Way Out to decide who truly deserves to be in the Royal Rumble. I know this is what the fans want.

Fans boo.

Why in the hell would I do that? I WON The Royal Rumble. Don’t come out here and run your mouth. You LOST. As far as I’m concerned, you can get back in your car and drive back to Mexico or wherever the hell you came from because you get NO shot. I'm going to WrestleMania, not YOU. (Fans cheer)

Fans boo.

Christian:
Why in the hell would I do that? I WON The Royal Rumble. Don’t come out here and run your mouth. You LOST. As far as I’m concerned, you can get back in your car and drive back to Mexico or wherever the hell you came from because you get NO shot. I'm going to WrestleMania, not YOU. (Fans cheer)

Tiffany is standing by with Wade Barrett.

Tiffany:
Wade, the only question I have is, why did you attack The Big Show?

Wade Barrett:
When The Nexus made their debut on RAW a few months ago, what did we do? We went after the top dog: John Cena. And then I was unceremoniously dismissed as the leader of The Nexus at The Royal Rumble. I looked at this way. I see myself as a leader so powerful that his followers had to turn against because they were afraid of him.

So, I packed my bags and came to Smackdown. I figured the way to make an immediate Impact is to literally go after the Biggest Dog in the Yard: The Big Show. As far as tonight goes, I plan on taking the biggest, foulest, loudmouthed Monster and making him beg for mercy at my feet. Like the old saying goes, you’re not gonna wanna miss what happens next.

The previous segment is shown again and cut back to Cole, Striker, & Booker.

Michael Cole:
Well, Booker, you walked Show to the back. Can you tell us how he is?

Booker:
Michael, I've known Show for a long time and that's one of the most vicious beatings I've seen him take, but he's going to just fine. He's pissed off, but he'll be good. All I know is, Wade Barrett and his boys got hell coming to them. Now, I know you can dig that.

Match 6:
Beth Phoenix vs Michelle McCool (w/Layla)

Both Divas tie up and Beth throws Michelle down to the mat. Layla gets on the apron and Beth decks her. Michelle then clotheslines Beth. She stomps away. She picks her up looking for a suplex, but Beth counters and hits one of her own for two count. Beth backs up to the ropes and Layla tries to grab her foot but she kicks her away.

After the match:

Kaitlyn comes down to the ring with a mic and claps as the fans boo her.

Michael Cole:
It's Kaitlyn. What business does she have here?

Matt Striker:
This should be interesting.

Kaitlyn:
Beth, I am very proud that you won your match.

She gets in the ring and starts clapping.

You know, we could use somebody like you in The Revolution. As you already see, Sean O' Haire along with Chris Harris and myself have assembled quite a force here on SmackDown. But most of the superstars just like these ignorant people are blind to the truth. It's true.

Fans start booing her loudly now.

Kaitlyn:
These fans are booing me because I'm right! They need people like myself, Chris Harris, & Sean O' Haire.

Now, Chris Masters didn't want anything to do with us and MVP has been a lost cause for some time now. But Beth, someone like you could bring new life to The Revolution. Especially because we'll have two females in the group. What do you say Beth? You already the most dominant Diva in the WWE. The days of Chyna, Trish, Lita, Mickie, Candice and etc.. are gone. You and me could form the most dominant Diva Tandem in this business, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

Join us and the possibilities are endless. Stay as you are and well....be as you are.

Beth grabs the mic from her for a few cheers.

Beth:
I saw what you guys did to Chris Masters last week and I’ll tell you right now, I’m not going to join a group of thugs like you. You may think the three of you have the answers to everyone's problems, but you don't know S***!

Kaitlyn then slaps her in the face!

Matt Striker:
Whoa!

Booker:
Does Kaitlyn have a death wish?

Beth puts her hands around her throat, but Chris Harris comes down and pulls Beth Phoenix by the hair and Kaitlyn clotheslines her. O’ Haire comes down and Kaitlyn & Harris hold her for him. He takes off his glasses and starts saying something to her.

MVP & Chris Masters rush the ring before they can do anything else and HUGE brawl breaks out. Beth is stomping away on Kaitlyn in the ring. Masters and Harris are fighting around the announce position and MVP is hammering away on O' Haire in the crowd. A WAVE of officials, trainers, etc… have to separate them as we go to Commercial.

Kane sits up and his pyro goes off at the entryway creating a Wall of Fire that Edge can't get through!

Michael Cole:
Kane sending a message to our World Champion for No Way Out! Could this be his Fate? To burn in Hell in and lose his title?

Striker:
What is Kane going to do to Edge at No Way Out?

Booker:
Edge looks scared out of his mind.

Michael Cole:
Edge blocked off by a Wall of fire! We'll gotta go, we'll see you next week on SmackDown!

Kane does the throat slash motion to Edge as he looks on in fear as the show goes off the air.

SmackDown goes off the air.

Couple of things that appear to me here. The double spacing of things, not a fan. Everything just looks to far apart for me. It really looks like an attempt to make the show looking longer than it really is. White gaps in the all over a show aren't very good. Then you have description which could be in the same line, but we get it spread out.

Example:

The Lights Go out in the Arena and Kane's music hits. His Pyro explodes at the entryway and here he comes!

Kane gets on the apron and summons his Pyro and gets in the ring.

Edge looks a bit scared, but he stands his ground in the ring.

Why write that when it looks better as the following.

The Lights Go out in the Arena and Kane's music hits. His Pyro explodes at the entryway and here he comes!Kane gets on the apron and summons his Pyro and gets in the ring. Edge looks a bit scared, but he stands his ground in the ring.

While it may make the show look shorter, it sure makes it look easier to read. I'll also say that the You Tube vids probably aren't getting watched. People start of with them but they don't really do anything. They just slow down the loading page. Maybe something to think about. It's nothing major, just think about it.

It was a solid show, some nice build toward the PPV. The matches were solid and you're improving once again. This thread is gaining some steam and could be one of the better threads here. Keep at it and just continue to improve.

JR:
Welcome everybody to Monday Night RAW! Jim Ross alongside Jerry "The King" Lawler and tonight is the night King. Tonight is the one night #1 Contender's Tournament to decide who will go to WrestleMania and compete for the richest prize in our sport.

King:
I can't wait JR, so many huge names are in this tournament: Cena, Punk, Sheamus, Morrison, and more. It's hard to pick just one winner. I can't wait to see who's going to come out on top.

In the Arena:

Bret Hart’s music hits and he makes his out to the stage area with a mic in his hand.

Bret Hart:
Tonight, we are going to have a one night Tournament to decide who will go to WrestleMania and face The Miz for the WWE Championship!

However, since RAW is a 2 Hour program, the rules are as followed for each round:

First Round Matches will have a 15 Minute Time Limit, Second Round Matches will have a 10 Minute Time Limit, and the Final Round will go as long as possible to determine a#1 Contender to the WWE Championship.

Once I defeat you, all that will be left is for Mason Ryan to dispose of Randy Orton and one member of The Nexus will represent RAW in the WWE Championship Match for WrestleMania. Now, then, I'm going to send The Nexus to the back because, Cena, I'm already better than you and no offense to the Nexus, but I don't need them to prove that. And I want all these people to pay attention because I don't want them to miss what's about to happen.

CM Punk drops the mic and he's on his way to the ring as this First Round Match gets underway when we get back!

John Morrison:
You know Sheamus, it's people like you that remind why I love doing what I do. Because shutting your mouth and beating your ass is going to the one of the best things to ever happen to RAW. Todd:
Well Punk, you are getting ready for your Second Round Match, given a big assist to The Undertaker.

CM Punk:
Whoa, what? Given an assist to who? Todd, let me tell you something, I beat John Cena because I am better than John Cena. I didn't need, nor did I ask for Undertaker's help. But hey, it looks as though John Cena has bigger problems to worry about. I'm just two matches away from challenging The Miz for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Todd:
But what about the rejuvenated Randy Orton? It seems as though The Viper is gone and The Legend Killer has risen from the ashes and you face him next after he defeated Mason Ryan earlier tonight.

CM Punk:
Todd, first of all, I think it's sad and pathetic that Randy Orton had to change his persona just to have a chance at winning back the WWE Championship, but the buck stops here. The Legend Killer, The Viper, whatever he is, is about to fall courtesy of CM Punk. I am definitely better than Randy Orton and I will prove it in that ring.

Michael Cole:
We're just 72 Hours Away, 3 days, from No Way Out, Live on ppv! It'll be our last ppv before WrestleMania and there are so many personal issues carried into that ppv and who will get some momentum heading into this Sunday?

In the Arena:
Sean O’ Haire’s music hits to a few boos and he makes his way to the ring with Kaitlyn & Chris Harris.

He gets in the ring and gets on the mic.

O' Haire:
I want to make something clear right off the bat. We are not the bad guys, we are the good guys. I resigned with the WWE because they needed my help. The WWE was full of degenerates and people that needed my help. But some people are hard headed. Some people refuse to be helped. People like Chris Masters & Beth Phoenix are stubborn and don’t want help when they really need it. So, instead of respectfully turning down my offer, they decided to use violence and they suffered the consequences. People like Chris Harris & Kaitlyn, they needed me, so I came to them and now they’re close to getting something more than just a spot on the roster. They have a chance at a meaning in the WWE. Then you have a guy like MVP.

Fans cheer for him.

Cheer for him all you want, but MVP is just like all you people; stubborn and shows no respect for Law & Order. Now, last week my dear friend, you challenged me to a match at No Way Out. I don't have anything to prove to you because I already beat you once and I will sure as hell do it again. But you see, I'm not telling you anything you don't already know because I thought about your pathetic challenge. You see, there's a difference between you and me MVP. I am a man of Morals and Understanding. You are nothing more than a vigilante. You are far beyond any help that I can give you. You want me at No Way Out, you got me at No Way Out, but I'll tell you this Alvin, it's going to be.......

You know it's The Mad Militant!
Theodore Long’s music hits and out he comes out interrupting O' Haire.

Teddy Long:
Lemme holla at ya playa! You know I was in the back and I got tired of listening to you, so I just had to come out here and set all 3 of you straight. It seems to me like you 3 have a problem with MVP, Beth Phoenix, & The Masterpiece Chris Masters. Well, allow me to settle all your issues right now.

This Sunday at No Way Out, all 3 of you will compete against MVP, Chris Masters, & Beth Phoenix. Not in a Tag Match, but in Singles Competition.

Lemme break it down for ya playas. Let’s start with Kaitlyn, you think you real tough after what you did to Beth Phoenix last week don't you? Well, here's what we're gonna do. This Sunday, you will go one on one with Beth Phoenix! We're gonna see how tough you are when you don't have those thugs to back you up.

Now, Mr. Harris. You seemed to have started all this when you turned your back on MVP, and what you three were about to do to Masters was unacceptable, so Chris Harris, you will take on The Masterpiece Chris Masters this Sunday.

And last, but not least, the leader, Mr. Sean O’ Haire. Ever since you came to my show, you’ve been causing all sorts of chaos & havoc. I will not let the inmates run the asylum playa. So this Sunday, you will take on MVP, but not in any normal match. You will take on MVP in a Steel Cage Match!

Fans start cheering.

And to make sure these matches are even. If anyone of you gets involved in each others matches, I will make sure to fire all 3 of you!

Fans start cheering again as O' Haire and company start going crazy in the ring.

And also, as far as tonight goes. Since you three look dressed to compete, all 3 of you will take on the team of Beth Phoenix, "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters and MVP! Holla Holla Holla!

His music plays and he leaves leaving the 3 of them to bicker in the ring.

Reks goes for a right hand, but Chavo ducks and starts teeing off on Reks with right hands. He fights him into the corner and continues with his flurry until the ref calls for a break. Chavo shoves the ref out of the way and Reks explodes out of the corner with a clothesline for a two count.

Reks covers again with more body on body, but Chavo kicks out again. Reks picks up Chavo and brings him to the ropes. He whips Chavo off the ropes. Chavo ducks under two right hands, until Reks finally picks up Chavo and powerslams him for another two count. He whips Chavo into the corner. He charges, but Chavo gets his feet up. He climbs the top rope and hits a great dropkick, but Reks powers out at 2.

Reks sits up, but Chavo dropkicks him in the face. He covers, but gets two. He goes to whip Reks in the corner, but he counters and sends Chavo in the corner hard. He drags him to the middle of the ring and covers, but gets two. He starts arguing with the ref long enough for Chavo to get up and roll up Reks for a two count. He drags Reks to the corner. He mounts the top looking for the frogsplash, but misses. Reks connects with the Rekkoning Day for the win.

Winner: Tyler Reks

After the match:
Reks stomps away on Chavo a little bit more until he leaves the ring.

Backstage:
Edge is walking down a hallway and barges into Theodore Long's office.

Edge:
Have you heard what's being said in the Locker Room? People are saying that Kane is on his way to the arena and when he gets here.....He's coming after ME!

Teddy Long:
Edge, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Whatever Kane does to you, you're on your own playa. But, I will do this for you. Tonight, I'm going to book a match. You Edge will team up with Alberto Del Rio and the two of you WILL face the team of Christian and his partner....Kane!

Fans go nuts and start cheering.

Now, if I were you, I'd get out of my office and get ready for your match and Good luck playa.

Long smiles in Edge's face and Edge stares him down as he leaves his office.

Michael Cole:
Wow, what a Main Event match! Edge and Alberto Del Rio against Kane and Christian! Tonight!

Wade Barrett is on his way to the ring with Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, & Ezekial Jackson.

Matt Striker:
Uh-oh, wait a minute Cole, look at this.

Michael Cole:
Wade Barrett is on his way with Justin Gabriel, Ezekial Jackson and Heath Slater. Maybe we'll get an explanation of this union when we come back!

Commercial

In the Arena:
Wade Barrett’s music hits and out he comes with Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, & Ezekial Jackson and they all have microphones in hand as they get in the ring.

Wade Barrett:
I came out here and thought it would be a great idea to introduce ourselves to the SmackDown audience. For those who don’t already know me, my name is Wade Barrett. I am the man that changed the face of RAW the last 6 months or so as the leader of The Nexus. Certain people in the group weren't fond of the way I was running things so I was dismissed as the leader under controversial terms at The Royal Rumble. Be that as it may, I have come to see the error of my ways since then. The Nexus never should’ve have just been about me, but about the entire group. This is different. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is The Corre.

Ezekial Jackson:
My name is Ezekial Jackson and for weeks I've been trying to make a name for himself, but never got the respect I deserved. I'm happy to be a part of The Corre and with them, I'll make all of you respect me.

Heath Slater:
My name is Heath Slater and one of the main reasons why Nexus was so successful and so dominant is because of me. And just like The Nexus on RAW, I'll be an integral part of the Corre's dominance over SmackDown.

Justin Gabriel:
I guess we save the best for last. My name is Justin Gabriel. The Corre is like a second family to me and we will all have each other’s back no matter what and he’ll entertain the crowd every Friday Night delivering the most spectacular moves you’ve ever seen.

Wade Barrett:
I promise all you people that The Corre will approach things a tad bit differently than The Nexus and if you people think what we did on RAW was something, it’ll pale in comparison to what The Corre will…….

You know it's The Mad Militant!
Teddy Long’s music hits and he makes his way out to some pops as he interrupts The Corre.

Teddy Long:
Lemme holla at ya playa! Mr. Barrett, before you go around claiming what you plan on doing, you seem to forget one thing. This is MY show. And if you think you’re gonna bring what you did on RAW over to SmackDown, you got another thing coming playa. Like I said earlier tonight, I will not allow the inmates to run the asylum.

Seeing as how the four of you are so eager to start trouble, you got it. I spoke with The Big Show earlier today and he has challenged the four of you to an 8 Man Tag Team Match for No Way Out this Sunday. He has given me the liberty of choosing his partners and I have just the men for the job. This Sunday at No Way Out, The Corre will take on the team of The Big Show, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio, & the man you assaulted last week along with the Big Show and that man is Booker T.!

Fans start cheering like crazy and Booker rose up from the announce table and started talking trash.

Wade Barrett:
Teddy, it makes no difference to us who you put up against us. As far as our opponents go, let’s start with Booker.

All 4 men then turn around and stare down Booker T.

You made a mistake by sticking your nose in our business last week. Let’s not wait until No Way Out, allow us to show you what The Corre is all about
.

Big Show’s music hits before The Corre can even leave the ring. Show comes out with Mysterio & Rhodes and they all charge the ring! Booker jumps in too and the fight is on!

After a few moments of brawling, the faces clear the ring of The Corre. Booker’s music plays as The Corre backs up the ramp and the faces stand tall in the ring.

Back from the break and we're joined by Cole and Striker as Booker is not with them as they replay what happened in the last segment.

Michael Cole:
Ladies and Gentlemen, after what happened, General Manager Theodore Long booked a match. 2 members of The Corre will take on Big Show and any partner of his choosing from his team.

Matt Striker:
On paper, it may look like Team Big Show has the upper hand, but do NOT underestimate The Corre Michael.

In the Arena:
Curt Hawkins music plays and he makes his way down to the ring for commentary.

Michael Cole:
Well Ladies and Gentlemen, it looks like we're being joined by Curt Hawkins.

Match 2:
Drew McIntyre vs Trent Barretta

Bell rings and Barretta spears him down and starts hammering away on McIntyre. The ref calls for a clean break and McIntyre takes advantage and catches Barretta with a thumb to the eye. He catches Barretta with a clothesline for a two count. He starts stomping away. He drags Barretta in the corner and starts choking him with his boot. Ref calls for the break and McIntyre gets off him. He then starts choking him out with his own hands and the ref calls for the break again. McIntyre starts getting in the referee's face. Barretta gets up and explodes out of the corner with a clothesline. McIntyre is back up and Barretta takes him back down with a dropkick for a two count. Barrett climbs the top rope now, but McIntyre shoves the ref into the ropes and straddles Barretta on the turnbuckle. McIntyre then drags Barretta to the middle of the ring and gets him in a side headlock.

Michael Cole:
Well, Curt, while we have some time, how do you feel about your match this Sunday with Drew McIntyre?

Curt Hawkins:
Well, Michael, nothing to take away from McIntyre's in-ring ability, but this thing with Kelly Kelly has gotten way too far. I like her a lot and I hate to see her in this position. I'm going to hurt him and this thing is going to end once and for all.

Barretta fights back to his feet and bounces him off the ropes. McIntyre runs into a backdrop. Barretta climbs the ropes and comes off the top with a missle dropkick for another two count. He then takes down McIntyre with a series of clotheslines. He whips McIntyre into the ropes, but he holds on. Barretta charges and McIntyre backdrops him out of the ring. McIntyre leaves the ring too and grabs a Chair from under the ring. He was about use it on Barretta, but the ref stopped him. McIntyre shoves him down.

He stalks Barretta with the chair. He lifts it up high, but then lowers his arm. Then, out of nowhere, he turns around and blasts Hawkins right in the face with the Chair! Hawkins is laid out and still has his headset on. He then sizes up Barretta and clocks him with the chair!

The ref calls for the bell and the ref is throwing this match out.

After the match:
McIntyre goes crazy and starts beating Barretta down with the chair. Hawkins is back up and goes right after McIntyre. He starts unleashing on him with serious right hands. Hawkins grabs the chair and swings, but McIntyre ducks. They continue to fight through the crowd.

Kelly Kelly is seen looking on from a Monitor backstage.

Michael Cole:
Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, we'll keep you updated on the situation backstage, but right now Kofi Kingston is joining us now to see who he will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against this Sunday.

Match 3:
#1 Contender’s Match
Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero) vs Jack Swagger

Bell rings and Ziggler points at Kofi and Swagger comes up from behind and clocks Ziggler in the back. He starts beating down on the back a few more times. He whips Ziggler into the ropes, but he ducks under a right hand and Swagger gets caught with a dropkick for a two count. Ziggler hammers away on Swagger and puts the boots to him. He drags Swagger to the corner and stomps away again. He backs up and poses to the crowd to some boos. He charges, but Swagger moves out of the way and leaves the ring. Swagger looks like he's leaving, but Vickie turns him around and tells him to get back in the ring. Swagger raises his hand to hit her, but Ziggler catches him with a baseball slide.

He picks him up and sends Swagger into the steps. He then rolls in and out of the ring to break the ref's count. He starts hammering away on Swagger and finally sends him back in the ring. Ziggler poses and stomps away on Swagger some more. Swagger starts fighting back with some shots to the abdomen. He bounces off the ropes and Ziggler catches him with a running knee lift. He gets Swagger in a chinlock. Swagger starts to fight, but slowly starts to fade. Swagger eventually comes back and gets to his feet. He tries to shake off Ziggler and takes him down with a back suplex for a two count. Ziggler is up and Swagger beheads him with a clothesline.

Swagger awaits Ziggler and he hooks him up and hits him with a German Suplex into a pinning combination for a two count. Swagger sizes up Ziggler for a clothesline. He charges and ducks. Ziggler catches Swagger with a pretty sick looking full nelson sitdown powerbomb for another nearfall. Ziggler crawls up to the ropes. Swagger charges, but Ziggler backdrops him out of the ring. With the ref distracted, Vickie kicks Swagger in the head. Ziggler picks up Swagger by the hair and starts talking trash to Kofi and then spits in his face!

Backstage:
Swagger and Ziggler are arguing in the back about who's the #1 Contender until General Manager Teddy Long finally comes up to them.

Teddy Long:
Hold on playas! Calm down. Now, I saw what happened out there and the only real way to settle this in the interest of fairness after all is to have a Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship. Kofi Kingston against Dolph Ziggler AND Jack Swagger. Holla!

Long leaves as both men continue to bicker.

Match 4:
Wade Barrett & Ezekial Jackson vs Big Show & Rey Mysterio

Big Show is going to kick things off with Ezekial Jackson. He wanted Barrett, but he's going to get Jackson instead. Jackson and Show tie up and Show shoves him down. Jackson gets back up and clotheslines Show down. Show looks up at Jackson and looks shocked. Jackson flexes as Show rises to his feet and smiles. Show then decks Jackson with a right hand that knocks Jackson down. Jackson crawls over and tags in Barrett. Barrett doesn't want to come in, but Show brings him in forcefully.

He clotheslines Barrett and delivers a big boot to Jackson who tried to get involved. He sends Barrett into his corner and tags in Rey. Show bodyslams him and Rey climbs the top rope. He catapults himself off Show's shoulders and hits a splash on Barrett for a nearfall. Rey gets up and gets decapitated by Jackson. Show tries to come in but the ref keeps him at bay. Barrett stomps all over Rey. He whips him off the ropes and catches Rey with a powerslam, but only gets a two count. Barrett gives Show the finger and in he comes again. The ref is distracted with Show allowing Rey to get double teamed.

Jackson gets tagged back in and picks up Rey then slams him back down with a clothesline for a two count. He whips Rey into the ropes. Rey ducks under a right and catches Jackson with a fying forearm. Rey now crawls over to his corner for the tag, but Jackson grabs his leg. Rey gets up and catches Jackson with an Inziguri. Rey dives and tags in Show. He comes in and headbutts Barrett and clotheslines Jackson. Jackson is back up and Show picks him up high over his head and pressslams him! Big Show stalks Jackson looking for the chokeslam. Jackson turns around and gets caught! Show picks him up and slams him back down with a chokeslam. He covers him. 1,.....2,......, but before the ref can get to three, Barrett comes in and slams the Big Show in the back with a steel chair! The ref calls for the bell.

Winners by DQ: Big Show & Rey Mysterio

After the match:

The Corre rush the ring and Show and Mysterio are outnumbered 4 to 2. But Booker and Rhodes come down to the ring as well and even the odds and the fight is on! Barrett awaits Show with the Chair while everybody else is fighting on the outside. Show is up and punches the chair out of Barrett's hands!

Barrett leaves the ring and regroups with The Corre. Big Show's team is standing tall in the ring as The Corre backs up the entryway. Show raises his arm for the chokeslam pose as we head to Commercial.

Back from the Break and we are joined by Cole & Striker.

Michael Cole:
Welcome back to SmackDown and Ladies and Gentlemen, what a night it's been!

Matt Striker:
Most definitely, we have 5 new matches added to No Way Out, the Love Triangle between Drew McIntyre, Curt Hawkins and Kelly Kelly intensified and The Corre has certainly made their presence known and we still have 2 HUGE matches still to come tonight!

Michael Cole:
Still to come folks, it'll be a 6 Man Tag Team Match: Sean O' Haire, Kaitlyn, & Chris Harris will take on MVP, Chris Masters, & Beth Phoenix. And in the Main Event, Alberto Del Rio will team up with The World Heavyweight Champion Edge and take on Christian and Kane!

Matt Striker:
Severe ramifications on No Way Out!

Michael Cole:
And Ladies and Gentlemen, speaking of No Way Out. It's Live this Sunday, as you hear the theme song...

"Blackout" by Linkin Park and Ladies and Gentlemen, what a card we have for you this Sunday!

logo-nwo04.jpg

8 Man Tag Team Match
The Corre vs Big Show, Booker T., Rey Mysterio, & "Dashin" Cody Rhodes

Michael Cole:
How about The Corre taking on Big Show, Booker, Mysterio and Cody Rhodes? We just saw both these teams explode in front of our eyes and I can't imagine what they'll want to do to each other this Sunday.

Matt Striker:
The Battle lines have been drawn Michael and if somebody doesn't take a stand against The Corre now, they'll run rampant all over SmackDown and Team Big Show just might have the formula.

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston (c) vs Dolph Ziggler vs Jack Swagger

Michael Cole:
This match was just made tonight. Kofi Kingston will have to defend his title under Triple Threat rules against Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger.

Matt Striker:
Kofi Kingston has been a defending Champion, but he hasn't faced a challenge like this before. He has two hungry challengers after his title. It'll be a miracle if he leaves Oakland as the Intercontinental Champion.

Chris Harris vs "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

Michael Cole:
This should be a brawl when Chris Harris collides with The Masterpiece!

Matt Striker:
Chris Harris started all this when he turned his back on MVP last month and now there's all this tension on SmackDown. The Masterpiece is going to look to derail The Wildcat at No Way Out.

Curt Hawkins vs Drew McIntyre - Kelly Kelly as Guest Referee

Michael Cole:
And Matt, this match is so personal. This Love Triangle has reached a boiling point and the stakes seemed to have been raised after what happened tonight.

Matt Striker:
These three names, this story has taken such a level of hostility. It's almost like a love story gone wrong. I guarantee you this Michael, it will all come to and end this Sunday and more importantly, where's Kelly Kelly's head at?

Kaitlyn vs Beth Phoenix

Michael Cole:
This one should be interesting. Kaitlyn is walking into battle all by her lonesome against "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix and Matt, I don't think she knows just what she's getting herself into.

Matt Striker:
I don't think she does. The rest of The Revolution has been barred from ringside, so Beth will have all the time in the world to do whatever she wants to Kaitlyn, but don't sleep on Kaitlyn. She's a great athlete herself, but she's going to need a serious bag of tricks to overcome The Glamazon this Sunday.

Christian vs Alberto Del Rio

Michael Cole:
I can't wait to see this one. Christian is going to put his title shot at WrestleMania on the line against Alberto Del Rio.

Matt Striker:
After weeks of attacks, Christian finally got his pent up frustration out and accepted Del Rio's challenge and only one man can go to WrestleMania. Can Christian shut the mouth of Del Rio for good, or is it really Alberto Del Rio's destiny to go to WrestleMania and compete for the World Heavyweight Championship?

Steel Cage Match:
Sean O' Haire vs MVP

Michael Cole:
And folks, are you ready for a Steel Cage Match? The leader of the Revolution Sean O' Haire will take on his biggest opponent so far, MVP!

Matt Striker:
MVP was the first man O' Haire tried to recruit into the Revolution, but MVP likes to be a lone soldier and O' Haire labeled as a degenerate and vigilante. There's going to be No Way Out this Sunday because these two are going to end all this inside the confines of a Steel Cage.

Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Edge (c) vs Kane

Michael Cole:
And then, could this be the last night Edge walks around as The World Heavyweight Champion? The Big Red Machine is Back and this not just about the title, he wants to tear Edge limb from limb and this is the match to do just that.

Matt Striker:
Our World Champion has dodged every bullet there is against Kane, but in this match, there are no rules and no excuses. Does Edge have what it takes to retain the World Title, or can The Big Red Machine tear apart Edge and become the World Champion? Like JR would say, Kane is damn sure going to bring Hellfire and Brimstone. I say Edge's title is in serious jeopardy.

Michael Cole:
No Way Out is this Sunday on ppv from the Oracle Arena in Oakland California!

Backstage:
Tiffany is standing by with Alberto Del Rio.

Tiffany:
Well, Del Rio, you finally have what you want, a match with Christian at No Way Out where you will battle it out to decide who goes on to WrestleMania to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship, but what makes you think you can beat Christian?

Del Rio:
Senorita, you haven't noticed it by now? It is my Destiny to become World Heavyweight Champion and Christian's time has come and gone. It's time for a new face to win the gold. I am the greatest superstar on SmackDown and the people love me.

Fans boo....loudly.

Not to mention, I certainly a better athlete then Senor Christian and the only thing left to do is to prove it all these people that I am the best when I beat him at No Way Out and I will Main Event WrestleMania and become the World Heavyweight Champion. Why? Because it's my Destiny, but you already knew that.

He walks away as we go to Commercial.

Sean O' Haire, Chris Harris, & Kaitlyn vs MVP, Chris Masters, & Beth Phoenix

Bell rings and there's action all over the ring as all 6 participants start brawling. MVP takes O' Haire all the way outside and down to the floor. Masters is stomping away on Harris in the corner. Kaitlyn tries to intervene, but Beth pulls her the hair and drags her down. Harris starts to fight out of the corner and hammer away on Masters. He charges, but gets backdropped up and out of the ring down to the floor and in front of the announce table. Masters follows him out there as the action continues in the ring. Beth picks up Kaitlyn and press slams her over her head and drops her!

She covers her, but only gets a nearfall. Meanwhile, MVP and O' Haire are battling up the entryway. O' Haire catches MVP in the midsection and tries to leave, but MVP clobbers him in the back. He hooks up O' Haire for a suplex. O' Haire tries to counter it, but MVP finally suplexes him on the steel rampway. Back to ringside and Harris is choking out Masters with the cable wire. Masters is able to get a chair and nail Harris in the face with it. He stalks Harris and waits for him to get up. He charges him and hits him with a clothesline.

Back in the ring and Beth is beating down on Kaitlyn in the corner. The ref is trying to calm her down, but she scares him away. Kaitlyn comes out of the corner and delivers a clothesline to Beth. She drags Beth over to the corner and after some brawling, she hits a superplex on Beth taking both women out. Back on the entryway, MVP drags O' Haire back to the ring by the hair and sends him shoulder first into the ringpost. Chris Harris comes up from behind and delivers a shot to the back. Masters is behind him hits the polish hammer. O' Haire comes up from behind Masters and low blows him and sends him into the ring post. Beth has Kaitlyn up for the crossface chicken wing and drops her. O' Haire comes in and grabs her by the hair and drops her with a Reverse Death Valley Driver and puts Kaitlyn over Beth. Ref counts the fall and it's over.

Winners: Sean O' Haire, Kaitlyn, & Chris Harris

After the match:
Kaitlyn stomps away on Beth Phoenix. Harris comes in and, along with Kaitlyn, holds up Beth Phoenix for O' Haire. He mouths something to her, but Masters and MVP rush the ring before anything can happen and O' Haire and Co. flee from the ring. They all raise their arms in victory as MVP and Masters check on Beth in the ring.

A No Way Out promo airs.

Backstage:
Tiffany is standing by with Christian.

Tiffany:
Christian, I'm sure you heard what Alberto Del Rio had to say earlier.

Christian:
Oh yeah, I heard what that little chicken fajita had to say to me and let me say this. I've been in this business for a long time and I've seen it all. I was during Austin 3:16, Degneration X, The Rock, The Corporate Ministry and so on. I was here and outlasted The Next Big Thing and I even seen 5 men run around here dressed as cheerleaders. What makes Alberto Del Rio so special? I WON The Royal Rumble and I'll be damned if I let this guy walk in here and take what took me 13 years to do: Main Event WrestleMania. If anybody is going to challenge Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship, it's Christian. Bank on it.

Match 6:
Edge & Alberto Del Rio vs Kane & Christian

Alberto Del Rio is the first man out, followed by Edge. Christian comes out next and charges the ring and immediately gets double teamed by Del Rio and Edge. They back Christian into the corner and just pummel him. Christian comes back and starts decking Del Rio and Edge with right hands. Del Rio finally stopped Christian's momentum with a rake to the eyes. The pummeling continued until.......

Hellfire!

Kane's pyro exploded at the entryway and here he comes! Edge's face immediately changes and takes his eyes off Christian. As Kane makes his way to the ring, Christian low blows Del Rio unbeknown to the ref. Edge backs up, but Christian sends Edge right out of the ring right at the feet of Kane. Kane looks down at him and Edge looks up. Edge starts backing off but Kane went for a right. Edge ducks and comes back with some right hands of his own. Kane finally comes back with a flurry of his own and sends Edge flying with an uppercut.

Back in the ring, Christian lets loose on Del Rio with alternating rights and boots in the corner. He picks up Del Rio by the hair and sends him out of the ring. He climbs the top rope and leaps off the top taking out him and Del Rio! Back on the other side of the ring, Edge counters a Kane Irish whip and sends him into the steel steps. Edge started stomping away and pulling at Kane's mask. He then sent Kane back in the ring. He also threw in 2 folding chairs. Kane is up and grabs Edge by the throat, but he low blows him and pushes him into the referee and he goes out of the ring to the floor.

Del Rio and Christian are fighting in the crowd during all this as there's nonstop action going on. Christian is lying on the baracade and Del Rio charges, but he gets backdropped back to the ringside area onto the mat. Christian picks Del Rio up and sends him into the steel ring post. Edge catches Kane in the ribs with the Chair. He back up a bit and hits him with a spear. After a while, he sets up Kane for a one man conchairto. He places Kane's face on one of the chairs. Christian slides under the ropes, but Edge spots him and hits him in the back with the chair. He goes back to Kane and hits him with the one man conchairto!

The ref rolls back into the ring. Edge covers Kane and the ref counts the fall and this one is over!

Winners: Edge & Alberto Del Rio

After the match:
Edge holds up the chair to the crowd and poses and turns his back on Kane.

Matt Striker:
How about that Michael? You said he couldn't do it! Edge just beat Kane 1,2,3 in the middle of the ring!

Michael Cole:
Well, that's just tonight, he's going to need more than that to.....uh-oh.

And Kane sits up and looks at Edge. He still doesn't know! Edge turns around and Kane grabs him by the throat and chokeslams him! Christian is up and Kane chokeslams him! Alberto Del Rio gets in the ring and he gets chokeslammed as well!

Kane raises his arms and summons his Hellfire Pyro and it EXPLODES from the turnbuckles as his music comes on. He overlooks the carnage and leaves the ring.

Michael Cole:
Kane has chokeslammed everybody in sight including the World Heavyweight Champion!

Matt Striker:
Edge, Christian, Alberto Del Rio! All of them laid out courtesy of The Big Red Machine!

Michael Cole:
Are we looking at the next World Heavyweight Champion! Will Kane be the Last Man Standing after this Sunday? No Way Out is live on ppv!

The Road to WrestleMania continues as we take a look the fans that continue to pile into the Oracle Arena here in Oakland as we are just one hour away from No Way Out live on ppv!

We then cut to Cole who is standing by with Matt Striker at the announce position.

Michael Cole:
Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, Michael Cole and sitting alongside me is Matt Striker. And partner, you can feel it in the air. This is going to be one hell of a night.

Matt Striker:
Oh, most definitely. It's an honor for SmackDown to host the final ppv before WrestleMania and I know we won't disappoint. Tonight's card from top to bottom, each of them have their own deep seated personal issues.

Michael Cole:
You're right about all those issues and I know those will all be settled before this night is over. Folks, 8 matches, 2 titles up for grabs, but probably none bigger than the Main Event for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The graphic comes up for the Last Man Standing Match between Edge & Kane.

Matt Striker:
The Main Event of the first SmackDown of 2011 featured Edge beating Kane in a Last Man Standing Match and saw Edge push Kane in a fiery dumpster and that brought back the Kane that we all remember, the Kane that was unpredictable and dangerous. And he is coming for Edge and his World Title
.

Michael Cole:
The old Kane is back and more vicious than ever and what's going to happen when Kane gets his hands on Edge in a match where there are no rules? A match where you have to beat your opponent until he cannot answer a 10 count.

Matt Striker:
You talk about a match that's personal and has a lot riding on it.

Michael Cole:
Let's talk about a match that's almost as personal than the World Heavyweight Championship Match tonight.

They pan over to the Steel Cage hanging over the ring and the graphic comes up showing that MVP will battle Sean O’ Haire in the Steel Cage tonight.

Michael Cole:
Sean O' Haire, the leader of the Revolution will battle MVP in a 15 foot high Steel Cage.

Matt Striker:
Ever since Sean O' Haire came back to the WWE, he's played Devil's Advocate and has had a problem with MVP because he wouldn't succumb to join the Revolution.

Michael Cole:
Let's take a look and see just how this feud had to culminate in a Steel Cage.

They transition into the video package for that match.

Backstage:
Tiffany:
MVP just arrived to the Arena and he's unpacking his stuff in his Locker Room. I'm going to try and get a word with him when we come back.

Backstage:
Tiffany:
MVP, tonight the time for talk is over. You will step into the Steel Cage and take on Sean O' Haire. The man who's had a problem with you since his return to the WWE. And also, the other members of Revolution will be banned from ringside, meaning it'll be you and him one on one.

MVP:
You know, I do what I do because I love it. I love to go out there and perform for all these fans. Ever since Sean O' Haire came back to the WWE, he's been telling people what to do and who to be and he's had a problem with me, you know? The fact of the matter is, he got his panties in a bunch because I wouldn't join his little band of misfits, but already he's made two mistakes.

The first mistake was coming back to the WWE and thinking I was going to join his little sideshow Carnival Act he's got going.

Second.....

He takes off his glasses.

was picking a fight with me. Let me tell you something right now Sean, and you can take to this to the bank. Whether I win or lose, I'm going to hurt you and I'm going to break you down. Simple as that. Game On Homie.

He goes back into his Locker Room and we head to another Commercial.

Earlier Today:
Drew McIntyre was seen arriving by himself without Kelly Kelly.

Michael Cole:
Well, folks, Earlier Today "The Chosen One" Drew McIntyre arrived and he looks focused and I just wonder what could be going through his head before his match tonight?

Matt Striker:
I don't know, but look at what happened during the break....

During the Break:
Curt Hawkins is seen arriving with Kelly Kelly.

Curt:
Kelly, you sure you still want to go through with this?

Kelly Kelly:
Definitely, after what happened last Friday on SmackDown, I have to do this. We have to put an end to this tonight.

They walk off as we cut back to Cole & Striker.

Matt Striker:
I was just going to say before we cut to that footage that after last Friday, I guess we know where Kelly Kelly's allegiance stands.

The graphic comes up for that match. Hawkins will battle McIntyre with Kelly Kelly as the Guest Referee.

Michael Cole:
At the top of the show, we talked about personal vendettas and partner, I don't think it's gets any personal than this one.

Matt Striker:
It's a regular Love Triangle and all the pieces have shown where they stand and it's time to settle it and unfortunately for Kelly Kelly, she has the duty of counting the 1,2,3 for either Curt Hawkins, or Drew McIntyre. What an emotionally charged match this should be.

Michael Cole:
Let's take a look back at the history between all three of them.

The promo package plays hyping this match.

Backstage:
Josh Matthews is standing by with Drew McIntyre.

Josh:
Drew, tonight, this is it. You have to do battle with Curt Hawkins tonight, knowing that your ex-girlfriend looks to be with Curt Hawkins now. I would just like to know what's going through your mind heading into this match.

Drew McIntyre:
What's going through my mind? WHAT'S GOING THROUGH MY MIND?!!

He calms down now.

The only thing going through mind is what I’m going to do to Curt Hawkins tonight. I plan on hurting him. Badly. End of Story.

Tiffany is with Curt Hawkins and we’ll hear from him next!

COMMERCIAL

Backstage:
Back from the Break and Tiffany is with Curt Hawkins.

Tiffany:
Well, Curt, we haven't really heard much from you on this whole Love Triangle situation. We heard from Drew McIntyre and we know where Kelly Kelly's allegiance stands, so where do you stand on all this?

Curt:
I don’t mean to get involved in matters that don’t concern me, but in this case, I had to step and and protect Kelly Kelly from McIntyre. He treated her bad and I hate to see a girl like that in that position, so I turned into the Knight in Shining Armor and saved the day and tonight, once I slay the evil Prince, I’m going to ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after with the Damsel. This fairytale will have a happy ending, one way or another.

We cut back to the Arena where we look to have a sold out crowd packing this place!

In the Arena:

Sean O’ Haire’s music hits and he makes his out to the ring with Kaitlyn and Chris Harris. He asks for a mic and the fans boo before he can start talking.

Sean O' Haire:
The only reason you people boo us is because you don't know any better.

Fans boo again and start a "You Suck" Chant.

Anyway, we have some matters to address, so all of you will have to be patient and wait until we're done.

He hands the mic to Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn:
I have a message for the Glamazon Beth Phoenix. I hope you’re ready, because if you think you're going to get an easy win against me tonight, I've got news for you, you’re crazy. There's something you forgot to overlook. I am also a former Female Bodybuilder myself and if you think you're going to waltz in here and pound me, you've got another thing coming. All these people know and even you know Beth, than I can take you no problem.

Fans boo her as she smiles.

Oh yea, it's true. I guarantee you that Beth will NOT beat me. Tonight, the Glamazon is going to be my Bitch. Wow!

She hands the mic to Chris Harris.

Chris Harris:
There’s a guy back there who calls him The Masterpiece. Well, Chris, you had the choice to join us and you refused. You wanted to be a leader, not a follower. You wanted to be Mr. Big Time, well I guess we know what you're really about now. You asked for this. Whatever happens to you, YOU brought it upon yourself and now you're going to have to live with the consequences.

He hands the mic back to O’ Haire and the fans boo again.

Sean O' Haire:
MVP, don't think I forgot about you. I heard what you had to say tonight and I thought it was awfully cute. It’ll be a lot more cute when I beat your ass all over this Steel Cage tonight. Here’s the thing, MVP, or should I call you, Alvin Burke Jr. instead?

You keep telling yourself you can win because in your head, you’re the superior athelete. The more you say that to yourself, the more you believe it, but you and I both know, you can’t and never will be able to beat me. And I’m going to prove it to you and all these non believers tonight. But hey, I’m not telling you anything……..

Before he can finish, MVP, Masters, & Beth Phoenix all rush the ring, but O’ Haire & Company flee the ring before anything can happen. MVP’s music hits as the faces stand tall in the ring.

Cole & Striker go over the last segment.

Michael Cole:
Well, I'll tell you what partner, it's going an interesting night for the Revolution and I bet you MVP, Beth, & Chris Masters can't wait to get their hands on their respective opponents tonight.

Matt Striker:
All 3 of them wrote checks and we're going to see if they can cash them tonight, but I am impressed that they were able to come out here and speak their peace. Especially Kaitlyn, It's going to be interesting to see what happens.

Then, they go back to last week on SmackDown when it was Ziggler & Swagger fighting to determine the #1 Contender for the IC Title tonight and how it was changed to a Triple Threat Match.

Michael Cole:
Well, folks, let's take you back to last Friday on SmackDown, it was Jack Swagger facing Dolph Ziggler for a #1 Contender's Match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Matt Striker:
And Swagger got a little overzealous and spat in Kofi Kingston's face. Then, Kofi wasn't going to take that lying down and attacked Jack Swagger forcing the ref to throw the match out.

Michael Cole:
Well, as you can see Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler were arguing about who was the #1 Contender and then General Manager Theodore Long came along and announced that the Intercontinental Title Match will now be a Triple Threat Match!

Backstage:
Josh Matthews is with Vickie Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler.

Josh:
I'm backstage here with Vickie Guerrero and one of the challengers in the WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match tonight, Dolph Ziggler. Vicki, you sure seem to be high on Ziggler winning this match. What makes you think Ziggler will walk out of Oakland as The Intercontinental Championship?

Vickie takes the mic, but then Dolph takes it away from her.

Ziggler:
Josh, you ask a big question for a such a little man. It’s very simple, Kofi is parading around with MY Intercontiental Championship and it’s about time I took back my property. Don’t you think? It’s a matter of principle Josh and the fact of the matter is, I get back what's rightfully mine tonight. It doesn't matter who I have to walk over. Kofi isn't a threat and Jack Swagger certainly isn't a problem, so tonight, The Epitome of Perfection is going to get back his Intercontinental Championship.

Ziggler and Vicki walk off.

Backstage:
Alberto Del Rio has entered the Arena and is walking around telling everybody that he’s going to WrestleMania, while Robert Rodriguez (his ring announcer) hands out some flyers.

The Heat Main Event is set and Chavo Guerrero takes on JTG tonight before No Way Out!

Back from Commercial and we cut to the Oracle Arena and No Way Out is under 20 minutes away!

Michael Cole:
Well, folks, we are under 20 minutes and counting before No Way Out as we continue on the road to WrestleMania and there's one match we forgot to go over partner and that's the HUGE 8 Man Tag Team Match between The Corre and The Big Show's team which includes Booker T., Rey Mysterio, & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes!

The graphic comes on for the next match and The Corre will make their debut and take on Big Show, Booker T., Rey Mysterio, & “Dashing” Cody Rhodes.

Matt Striker:
The Corre has only been together for two week and already they have made an enemy out of a 500 lb Monster known as The Big Show. But I will tell you this, Big Show has put together a very impressive unit.

Michael Cole:
And also, our very own Booker T. will be on that team. But let's take you back now and show you how these 8 Superstars developed some bad blood in such a short amount of time.

Then, we are shown scenes from when The Corre was formed and what happened last week between all 8 men and how the match was announced.

Backstage:
Tiffany is standing by with The Big Show and Booker T.

Tiffany:
Well, Big Show, you have a hard task ahead of you. For the past 2 weeks, The Corre have been all over you and Wade Barrett in specific seems to want to take you down and make an Impact, but tonight, you have some pretty serious backup. What I'm really asking is, what is going through your head right now?

Big Show:
Well, let me explain it you this way, Wade Barrett walked onto this show to make an Impact. He got more than just an Impact, he got my attention. He also got the attention of my 3 Partners; Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and more imporantly, Booker T. As far as The Corre is concerned, let's just say our actions are going to speak louder than our words. Before they even talk about taking over this and that, they have to go through us. I’ve seen what Wade Barrett has done on RAW, but it's this isn't RAW. It's not gonna fly with me. This is why, we are going to take them out tonight. It'll be their first and last appearance.

Booker T:
Those 4 punk asses think they can come up on SmackDown, start causing trouble and saying they're gonna takeover. Ain't no way, me and Big Show are lettin that mess go down. Tonight, the Big Man, Cody, and Rey Rey are gonna give them all we got and send them packing back to wherever they came from. Now, Can you dig that....SUCKA!!!

Backstage:
Edge is in his Locker Room staring at his World Heavyweight Championship.

Josh Matthews then walks in.

Josh:
Excuse me Edge, I don't mean to disturb you, but I wanted to know if I could get a word with you concerning your match with Kane tonight for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing Match.

Edge looks at him, gets up and stares at him for a few seconds, then leaves the Locker Room.

Well, folks, a great win for Chavo Guerrero, but tonight Matt, 8 Matches, 2 titles on the line. EVERY match with some sort of deep seated issue. You look at Curt Hawkins vs Drew McIntyre, Christian vs Alberto Del Rio, Sean O' Haire vs MVP in that Steel Cage and of course the World Heavyweight Championship Match!

The graphic comes up for the Edge/Kane Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Matt Striker:
Michael, this going to be such an emotional night and you talked about the World Heavyweight Championship Match. Did you see the way Edge was looking at the World Title before we went to Commercial Break? It was like he was saying goodbye to it or something. His head is clearly on Kane, and whether people, or even Edge himself wants to believe it, he's worried. We may be seeing a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned tonight.

Michael Cole:
Ladies and Gentlemen, could it very well be the last time we see Edge as the World Heavyweight Champion, because this Seven Foot Monster known as Kane has had this deep seated issue with Kane for quite some time and it may all come to a head tonight at No Way Out!

And don't think I forgot about what happened on RAW a few weeks back either. So, whatever you have to say, you better make it quick.

Edge:
I just came in here to wish you luck on your match tonight against Alberto Del Rio. Cause you never know, I just might be facing HIM at WrestleMania.

You know something Edge, you better worry about Kane and not only losing the World Title, but winding up in the Hospital. It's a Last Man Standing Match and you pissed off the wrong person. He's about 7 Feet Tall of Big Red Machine. This man is going to be after your head tonight. So, if I were you, I'd better pray I leave California intact. Well Kelly Kelly, we heard from Drew McIntyre and Curt Hawkins on Heat, but we still haven’t heard where you stand on this whole issue.

Kelly Kelly:
Tiff, It seems like I’ve been caught in a Love Triangle, but that’s not the case. Curt was just there for me when I had problems with Drew. I mean, back when I was with Drew, I mean, you see what's become of him. There's been this change over him. He's just gets so mad and Curt is someone I can be with. But As far as the match is concerned, I will call this match right down the middle and whatever happens, I'm ready to count the 1....2....3.

I got this one babe. Josh, first of all we don't need people like you badgering us and attacking us making us do this and that. You're lucky Drew doesn't take you out right here, right now! But, you do have a point. These fans do deserve an explanation and I'll be more than happy to give it to them this Friday Night on SmackDown, but for now, we’re going to go celebrate!

Josh:
Well, Wade, we are moments away from The Corre's first match as a Unit and your competition is something very serious. You four will take on Big Show, Booker T, Rey Mysterio, & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes.

Wade Barrett:
Tonight is an important night for one reason and one reason only: because The Corre is making their wrestling debut. The thing is, we are here tonight not because we want to, but we need to. If we are going to take SmackDown by storm, we have to tackle any opponents foolish enough to get in our path and unfortunately for The Big Show and his Three Stooges, they have to be the first of many casualties. The Corre is just the beginning because we have no end.

The graphic comes up for the next match: The Corre will take on The Big Show, Booker. T, Rey Mysterio, & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes.

Michael Cole:
Well, folks, we are moments away from this HUGE 8 Man Tag Team Match and like my partner said at the top of the show, it's either put up or shut up for The Corre.

Matt Striker:
That's right, this is The Corre's first match as a Collective Unit and for the past two weeks they've dominated The Big Show and claimed they were going to do this and that. They talked the talk and coming up soon, they are going to have walk the walk.

Michael Cole:
Folks, let's show how these 8 made it all the way to No Way Out and it all started when Wade Barrett was dumped by The Nexus and made his debut on SmackDown 2 weeks ago.

The Promo Package airs and the events led to this match are shown.

END OF DAYS!

The Corre makes their entrance to the ring first.

Tiffany:
Christian, you are just moments away from your confrontation with Alberto Del Rio with YOUR WrestleMania title shot on the line. What's going through your head right now?

Christian takes a deep breath.

Christian:
I don’t think you would understand even if I told you Tiffany. Tonight, I plan on hurting Alberto Del Rio. He got me so mixed up and goaded me into putting my WrestleMania Championship Shot on the line. If I lose this match, I have nobody to blame but myself, but the thing is, I’m not going to lose. Del Rio maybe be confident, but so am I.

Del Rio can come out here with all the cars and the fancy pyro, but when he steps into that ring, he’s going to know Christian means business. He's going to need more than the cars and the fancy pyro to beat me.

I didn’t get past 40 Superstars last month only to have my Title Shot lost to somebody like Alberto Del Rio. The Games end tonight because one of us is going to face the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania and I don’t care what I have to do to get the job done, but that guy is gonna be me.

The Match graphic comes up showing that Christian will take on Alberto Del Rio to determine who faces The World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania.

Michael Cole:
Ladies and Gentlemen, coming up in a few moments one of these men will be going to WrestleMania. After all the weeks of mind games, Alberto Del Rio coaxed Christian into putting his World Title opportunity on the line against him.

Matt Striker:
Is it Alberto Del Rio's Destiny, or can Captain Charisma silence the Spanish Conquistador and continue his quest to the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania?

The Promo Package rolls highlighting the events leading up to this match.

Booker rejoins Cole & Striker at the announce table and tells them that this issue with The Corre is NOT over.

Del Rio's theme music hits and Ricardo introduces him in Spanish. He comes out in a Signature Rolls Royce honking the horn obnoxiously.

Just Close Your Eyes
Christian's theme hits as the place explodes! He makes his way down to the ring as he poses to his peeps. He takes off his hood and stares down Del Rio as he's now all business.

Josh Matthews is standing by with Edge.

Josh:
Well, Edge, obviously you were very concerned when I tried to interview you on Heat and you seem to have calmed down since then. I just wanted to ask you, what is going through your head knowing that in mere moments, you have to face The Big Red Machine Kane in a Last Man Standing Match?

Edge:
I’ve been involved in matches a lot worse than this with bigger and badder superstars than Kane. You forget, I beat Kane at The Royal Rumble and all this is, is a travesty to take the World Title off me. But I’m not going to complain because I am the greatest World Champion this company has seen in years. I will NOT let Kane take away MY World Heavyweight Championship. If it takes every bone in my body, I WILL keep my title when all is said and done, even if it kills me. I came to a realization, I am NOT afraid of Kane. I refuse to be afraid of Kane and if I lose this title, it'll be when I'm good and ready to lose it. If Kane wants this title, he's going to have to kill me for it.

Edge walks off.

Michael Cole:
Well, folks, we can't wait to get to WrestleMania in April, but we have one last match on the card to get to.

The Match graphic comes up for the Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Edge & Kane.

Michael Cole:
The Monster Kane has been reborn courtesy of the Rated R Superstar in THIS very match in the first SmackDown of 2011.

Matt Striker:
I don't think Edge realized quite yet what he's done, but maybe this match will give him a Reality Check because this a very dangerous Monster Edge is about to deal with.

Booker:
No doubt. I've been in the ring with Kane at this level and it's not looking good for Edge, especially in this kind of match. A match where I don't even know if Edge can pull out a win.

Michael Cole:
Let's take you back to the beginning of 2011 and see how the feud really took off.

The Promo Package rolls hyping up this one.

Tony Chimel:
The following contest is the Last Man Standing Match and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship!

In this match, the only way to win is beat your opponent down until they cannot answer the count of 10.

Hellfire!
Kane's pyro explodes at the entryway and here he comes!

Michael Cole:
Like Good Ol' JR would say, Kane is walking through Hellfire and Brimstone and could we be looking at the next World Champion.

Booker:
I know Kane and guys, there's nothing he won't do to be the World Heavyweight Champion. Edge unlocked a Monster that was sleeping for too long.

Striker:
Well, Kane looks to have all the cards. I hope the Champ is ready.

Metalingus!
Edge's music hits in the arena and he makes his down walking with confidence.

Striker:
I'll tell you guys something right now. You can say anything you want about Edge, but look in his eyes. Most people would be frightened to get in the ring with Kane, but Edge is walking with poise and confidence. Now, THAT is our World Champion.

Booker:
Ok Matt, let's see how he looks once this match is through.

Cole:
It was the first SmackDown of 2011 when Edge threw Kane in a burning dumpster and Kane came back with his Mask and started wreaking Chaos and Havoc on SmackDown. He wants the World Title in a bad, BAD way.

Match 8:
Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Edge © vs Kane

Edge hands the ref the title and the bell rings. Edge slaps Kane in the face and what a way to begin the match! Kane goes for a right, but Edge ducks and unloads with some right hands. He bounces off the ropes and charges towards Kane, but he sends Edge out of the ring and to the floor. He goes out to the ring and runs into a shot by Edge with a trash can lid. He hits him again, but Kane doesn't go down. Edge goes for a third hit, but Kane grabs the lid and nails Edge with it. He grabs Edge by the hair and bangs his head off the steps. He brings Edge over to the Spanish announce table and bangs his head off that too. Kane then goes over and picks up the steel steps. Edge sees this and dropkicks the steps right back into the face of Kane. Edge grabs a Chair from under the ring as Kane is still stuck under the steps.

Edge repeatedly bangs the chair on the steps which was still on Kane. He throws the steps aside and chokes him out with the chair. He tells the ref to start counting. Kane sits up at 4. Edge is ready for Kane with a TV monitor. He goes to Kane, but Kane grabs Edge by the throat looking for a chokeslam, but Edge delivers a low blow to him and throws him back into the ring. Edge looks under the ring and brings two chairs into the ring. Edge places Kane's face on chair and goes for the one man conchairto, but Kane sits up and looks at Edge. Edge drops the chair and bounces off the ropes. Kane is up quickly and grabs Edge by the throat and chokeslams him out of the ring. The ref starts his count, but Edge gets up around 5. He tries to leave through the crowd, but Kane follows him into the crowd. He starts brawling with Edge and throwing him into Staging Equipment.

Edge finally manages to gain an advantage when he clocks Kane with a nearby Fire Extinguisher. He makes his way back to the ringside area with Kane following. He gets in the ring and Kane isn't too far behind. As soon as Kane gets in the ring. Edge takes him down with a spinning wheel kick. He then places Kane's face on the chair and goes for the conchairto and this time, he hits it with authority! The ref starts his count and at this time Kane would sit up, but he has to get up normally! He gets around 7. Edge starts hammering away on Kane and hits a DDT. Edge backs up looking for the spear, but Edge spears Kane out of the ring as both men crash to the floor.

Kane & Edge are on the outside by the announce table position now. Edge grabs the ring bell and clocks Kane in the face with it. He strips the announce table and chokes Kane with the Monitor Cord. He strips the Spanish Announce Table now and grabs one of their TV Monitors and smashes it over the head of Kane. Kane is able to get up around 5. He drags Edge on the SmackDown Announce Table. He motions like he’s going to hit a piledriver, but Kane goes downstairs with a low blow. He grabs Edge by the throar and amazingle chokeslams Edge off the SmackDown Announce Table and through the Spanish Announce Table! Wow! Edge looks out cold. They keep showing replays of it. The ref decides to check on him before he makes his count. He starts counting, but Kane picks up Edge before the ref can start. He sends Edge back in the ring. He brings a Chair back in the ring with him. Edge is able to recuperate and drop Kane with a Spear.

Edge slowly leaves the ring and grabs a table from under the ring. He sets it up in the corner and then goes back to Kane. He drags Kane over to it, but he counters. He grabs Edge by the throat for the chokeslam, but he delivers a low blow to Kane. While Kane is struggling, Edge backs up and spears Kane through the table! Edge is down to one knee as the ref counts. Kane is up around 7. Edge gets a Chair and nails Kane in the face taking Kane back down! This time Kane sets up at 6. Edge then grabs the World Title and charges Kane, but Kane grabs Edge by the throat and chokeslams him to the outside of the ring. Edge is up at around 8 and Kane is ready with a Chair, but Edge quickly intercepts Kane and spears him and the chair goes flying. Edge gets back in the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, but Kane is up and goes up to meet him.

After some moments of battle on the top, Kane hooks Edge’s tights and, in an amazing spot, Kane superplexes Edge off the top rope sending him and Edge through the Announce Table! The ref starts his count and both men look to be out cold. The ref finally gets to 8 and Edge starts to move around. He struggles and gets to one knee, but he couldn’t make it and ends up collapsing back down. The ref counts to 10 and we have a Draw.

DRAW

Tony Chimel:
Ladies and Gentlemen, since both men were unable to answer the 10 count, this match is a Draw.

Fans start booing.

However the World Heavyweight Championship cannot change on a Draw, so STILL The World Heavyweight Champion, Edge!

STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Edge

Cole:
Well, that's a damn shame!

Striker:
Justice prevails again and Edge is still the World Heavyweight Champion!

Booker:
I got to hand it to Edge, he had Kane going at some points in this match. He even almost got up at the end.

Cole:
Edge maybe the luckiest man in Oakland California. He survived the Big Red Machine and is still the World Champion.

Fans are booing.....very loudly.

Edge is helped by officials to get to his feet and Kane finally struggles to sit up and is able to chase down Edge.

He clocks the officials and brings Edge back to the ring where he delivers a chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver!

He grabs the World Title, looks at it and puts it over Edge’s body. He summons his Hellfire Pyro and leaves.

Camera zooms in on Edge as he's knocked out.

Striker:
What a sore loser!
Booker:
Kane just destroyed whatever was left of Edge!

Cole:
The Big Red Monster has just laid out the World Champion! Edge is still the Champion, but you bet Kane isn't done with our Champion by a long shot! Good Night Everybody!

No Way Out goes off the air.
