Hardy has all this unconsciousness business going. I don't know what the hell is going on here. I'm fairly sure it's a work by now, so I don't know what's up. I can't imagine they'll simply declare Jeff Hardy is not going to be in the match, and go back to a one on one, so either Hardy is going to be selling some sort of injury during the match or will have a last minute replacement. If he's going to be selling an injury, I can only imagine he'd be walking away with the title. It would certainly be dramatic.
If there's a replacement, it has to be Edge. And since the last minute replacement always wins, Edge would win.
So any way it goes, I can see Koslov, Hardy, or Edge walking away with the title tonight.
This is certainly an interesting scenario...I want to believe, though, that this is when Hardy finally takes the belt. I think we all know this Hardy situation is a work, and definitely would add to the dramatics. And honestly, Hardy has been around for so long that I think he deserves to win in a dramatic fashion. Hardy has basically been a huge face his whole career, especially during his runs for the title...In my opinion, this whole work is a way to make Hardy's win more dramatic and memorable. He has certainly turned into a darker character these past few weeks, maybe the WWE wants Hardy to win the title as more of a pure face and this whole work could take off any heat from that character.
I definitely Edge has some role in this whole thing, and it would be a great way to set up a Hardy/Edge feud that would make for a GREAT WM main event. TLC match for the title, anyone? However, if Edge completely replaces Hardy in this match, I will be really disappointed. They worked Hardy up so much these past few weeks, it would be idiotic to just suddenly take him off the card.
I guess we will have to see, but if the WWE was smart, I think they would go with Hardy getting the clean win off a Swanton (no roll-up bullshit) after something dramatic like a run in by Edge. Maybe we see Edge run in, attack Hardy again when he is just about to win, leaves Hardy a bloody mess. Match goes on with Hardy just lying somewhere, Kozlov and Trips go at it, and when one of them hits their finisher and goes for the win, Hardy hits a Swanton on both men, gets the pin and the win...all in dramatic fashion. I think they place would explode.
Either way, I expect to see a lot of close calls on big moves and finishers, like the EC match when Hardy kicked out of the pedigree.
