Triple H VS Sheamus

yeah for hhh not to be involved in a high profile match, like taker/hbk or wwe championship match i see it as bs, i think he will involved in one of those matches one way or another, he needs to headline one of those matches, it won't be a wrestlemania if he doesn't

I would love to see HHH made a special guest ref in the HBK/Taker match and a heel turn for HHH to cost HBK his career. I would like to see HHH want to go along with HBK acting like his friend and being supportive and just as HBK hits sweet chin music on Taker for the win he turns round then gets pedigreed.

The other way I would like HHH to be involved in mania would be against Sheamus because he attacked Hornswaggle because HHH pinned Sheamus at EC. It would definatley get the fans behind him as he is defending a friend.

Personally I would like to see a HHH heel turn, he is either a face with DX or a heel other wise i think he isn't that good.

1. Money in the Bank is back. They already had a qualifying match with Christian. Sheamus had a concussion from the Elimination chamber and that's why he wasn't on Raw. I think they will put Sheamus in Money in the Bank. He will either win it or come close to winning it and start a rivalry with the winner or whoever cost him the chance at winning.

2. I think HHH will definitely have involvement with the HBK/Taker saga going on. If you watch the promo on the last RAW you can see how involved HHH already is. Think about it, HBK cost HHH his chance at winning the Rumble, and cost him the tag team titles. I see HHH turning on HBK in this match and semi "retiring" HBK. I heard that HBK will take time off until Summerslam. He can get his revenge on HHH at Summerslam after his new Heel/Face character has evolved. We have been seeing a lot of that lately between Edge and Orton of being their own man in between a face and a heel.

Why can't HHH just have a mid-card match? I can see HHH getting involved, maybe interfering in HBK vs. Taker because he doesn't want to see Shawn's career end. Maybe the Undertaker wins via DQ thanks to interference from HHH. HBK was so obsessed with beating the Undertaker that he blames HHH for ruining that and then there's a new spin on the HHH and HBK rivalry. It has always been a heel HHH, but this time it can be a heel HBK. Why not?

My opinion is that even if he does get involved somehow in HBK's match, he will have a match of his own, and NO that match won't be in a triple threat with Taker and HBK. It will be against Sheamus. Sheamus bypasses his rematch clause because he's so irate that HHH cost him the gold to begin with, setting up your feud into Mania.

HHH should take a backseat. Everyone always complains that he hogs the spotlight but now he's in a position where he might just be in a midcard match at Mania and everyone is suggesting that he needs to hog the spotlight again.

You've got a good looking card with Cena/Batista, Jericho/Edge, HBK/Taker and Money in the Bank thus far. Add HHH/Sheamus, Mysterio/Punk maybe with a Hair vs. Mask stipulation, Orton vs. DiBiase maybe with Rhodes as guest referee or a flat-out Legacy Triple Threat and you've got 7 matches on the card. Add in your typical Divas match, a Tag Title match which seems to be on the way and your Mania card is full.

And none of them are weak! A lot of people get the misconception that if you're not in a main event feud you're just wasting your time in the midcard, but heck, 80% of the card is the midcard, is HHH really that above everyone else that he can't be involved in a middle of the road feud? If anything, HHH should add interest to the midcard because he hasn't been there in a while.

I can see HHH costing Shawn not to lose his career, so HHH can be the one to end in next Wrestlemania. I can see him getting involved in the match, maybe causing a finish where Michaels doesn't get pinned. HHH wants to keep Shawn's career intact so he can retire him. Either way, HBK is taking time off after Mania and will return at Summerslam so he could "retire" and come back, but if that happens they better not do a big hoople celebration when he'll be returning in August.

I am hoping for a Sheamus/HHH feud. These guys are friends....I think that both of them could pull off a very decent and very brutal feud that could go beyond a match at Wrestlemania. Sheamus built up a great streak and can still capitalize on the fact that he never lost the title in a singles match. He has already hit HHH with the Celtic Cross and HHH was the one who eliminated him from the elimination chamber, so both guys already have beef.

Let HHH & Sheamus have a match at Wrestlemania --- make it a no holds barred or a streetfight type of match. Both these guys can pull it off.

One of the two cuts a promo saying how they don't have a match at Wrestlemania, the other comes out and challenges them. They talk shit, maybe a few confrontations, and you have your WM26 match.

This match is pretty much a lock, and Triple H wants to give Sheamus a push. Should be a good match.

To be honest, I really don't know what the hell The Game is going to do at Mania. It wouldn't make sense for him to be involved Cena VS Batista match. He doesn't fit any where into this storyline because the match between Cena and Batista is not 100% focused on the WWE championship. The rivalry between these two is more personal, and Vince McMahon is looking to torture Cena, so having triple H as another challenger wouldn't make any sense.

A Sheamus VS Triple H match is something that could happen on Raw. There's really no need for these two to lock up at Wrestlemania. Besides, I think Sheamus will get a spot in MITB. Speaking of MITB, I think there's no way in hell HHH would be in that match. He just wouldn't look right competing in a match like that. If he were a heel, then I could see a MITB win working for him because cashing in the briefcase when another world champion is beaten down is something a heel version of HHH would do.

He might some how get involved in the HBK/Taker match. I could see HHH desperately trying to talk Shawn out of wrestling this match, and putting his career on the line. Maybe, just maybe Triple H will be another participant in this match, and make at a triple threat?

A heel HHH? A face HHH would cash in on a beaten down champ too, lets not forget what HBK has done as a face as well as HHH

But yes last week I was thinking about HHH and was saying MITB is the one thing he can do, but Edge style by taking out someone in it before the match

but we'd know he was gonna win so maybe he'll be the ref in HBK vs Taker but he MUST wrestle

it leaves only Sheamus

but to be honest I Personally would love to see John Morrison vs Triple H

once I even thought what if its Randy going to HHH saying hey man you lead me in Evolution, I lead Legacy lets teach them something in a tag team match

but yes that is stupid huh? I still think its Triple Threat for Legacy'

but hey, how bout Triple H vs Bret

infact how bout Triple H & Vince vs Bret & Shane or some surprise legend or someone

I have a bunch of thoughts on HHH, I dont think anyone has considered him being in a Bret vs Vince bout though, it could happen being that Vince & Trips are family

I still think it'll be a Street Fight though, and yes Bret can do it, hell, Austin could do one more match if it was a Street Fight, it's doable

I mean Mae Young has wrestled in the past 5 years

Anyway back to HHH, I see WWE pulling a fast one though he should have a meaningful non title bout instead cause he's been in every title bout at Mania since WrestleMania 2000 (16) except 17 (Rock/Austin) & 23 (was injured and they were planning Cena/HHH again, thats what I heard anyway)

I know this may sound crazy, but it was just a thought that popped in my head as i am a huge triple h mark and this will be the first mania i am going to live since a wile, but i was sitting there thinking, there has to be a reason they are keeping one of the biggest ME off the card right now. Maybe, just maybe, that was the reason Vinnie has planned for Austin to come and host on such a raw so close to mania. I see it going like this, hunter comes out, complains that he doesnt have a match, has been a nice guy, and stood out of the way, but he is sick and tired of it, and he wants an oppent, and then autstin comes out, does his usual rutin tells him to shut the hell up, beats his ass, hits him with a stunner, and then the next week hunter challenges him to a match, dont see it happenening but these could be high hopes, since rock v cena crushed, wat about the biggest name in the attitude era v the leader of the biggest faction ever? just thoughts

Sheamus is going to fight Triple H at WrestleMania, and any suggestion otherwise is ill thought out, to be perfectly honest with you. Triple H is the one who eliminated Sheamus, which is cerrtainly important, but even more important than that is the fact that Sheamus attacked Triple H on the Raw before. But Tastycles! He attacked everyone else in the chamber pretty much, so that's not proof of anything. Oh but it is, you see Sheamus attacked everyone, yet Michael Cole neglected to mention that when he said something like 800 times that he had attacked Triple H during his Elimination Chamber commentary. It's as if they were building up to something. Triple H will face Sheamus at WrestleMania, and the only thing remotely surprising about that is the fact that he'll lose.

It has to be Sheamus, simply based on the fact that there is no one else left. Name me someone else, I dare you. Perhaps John Morrison? Doubt it. Drew McIntyre is too creepy looking. Aside from a grudge match with Hornswoogle or something, that's about it.

With him being Sheamus's mentor and all, it seems logical. The reasoning of "you attacked me" is there as well as the fact that one is a big heel while the other is a big face. That's all you really need. I'm not sure how the match itself will play out. Probably not that great, but you never know.

HMM. Sheamus vs HHH could work, but really unless it is a #1 contender kind of match it is not really a main event type match for HHH.

To create a little drama, maybe they could insert HHH into the MITB match. HHH has never been in a MITB, and with him in the match a Christian win isn't so much of a lock. Only problem is that leaves Sheamus off the card unless they also put him into MITB.

Sheamus vs HHH is most likely. Leaving HHH off the card would be pretty stupid especially since TRIPS is in so much WM26 advertising, so he has to be involved someway, and it would suck to just have him involved to... OOH here is a good one... he screws VINCE!!! He is pissed at Vince for Vince leaving him off the card, pedigrees Vince and then Bret puts Vince in the sharpshooter for the victory.

Or HHH somehow costs either HBK or Taker to lose. But clearly HHH has to be involved somehow.

A big Barry Horowitz for me for correctly predicting this one. Should be a big snoozer. However they try to build this match up, I really could care less. The only draw it has to me is that two really big guys will be locking up.

I think that after the attack on raw it is almost a lock that trips will fight sheamus. i find it interesting that it is almost the same format as the wwe title match. 2 big strong guys. a heel who is being built up to be this huge attacking machine that doesn't care about anything. and a face that seels merchandice like it was candy.

I can't see any other logical thing for trips to do this year. so that is my pick.

im hoping for sheamus to win..theres no reason for triple h to win this... with the added stipulation to taker vs hbk 2, i think triple h will interfere due to appearing not having a great wrestlemania this year, and also losing to sheamus will send him over the edge....also think about the segments theyve been up until now, where trips has been telling him to let it go...why else would they do this...im onto those suckers....trips will interfere, taker will win...hbk will be gone for months and maybe win the rumble next year and face a heel triple h for the title one last time at mania, or either without the title in hbks last match ever

I'm intrigued by this match. I think this will be the match that will put all the Triple H haters to rest. Everyone who says Triple H hates putting people over, this will be the match that will make or break that attitude. For Triple H to personally be backing Sheamus to get him to the top tier of the WWE, it would make no sense for him to win here. He'd have to put Sheamus over, with an obvious rematch after that.

This will be the time for the Triple H's haters to put up or shut up. Is he going to let his ego get the better of him or will he put over the man he is personally backing? That's the question on my mind. I cannot wait for Mania so I can find out the answer.

I've been a huge supporter of Sheamus from the beginning, so I'm just thrilled that he is a part of his first Mania in a fairly high profile match. In recent days we've read alot about Sheamus being pushed by HBK and HHH to step it up and be "the man". This match could be the match to shut up all the people who claim that Sheamus is nothing but a flash in the pan. A win over HHH at Mania would solidify his position as a main event guy, not just a transition champion.

I think Sheamus has solidified his position as a main event player But I do think A win against HHH would boost his main event status and prove That his win over Cena Wasn't a fluke.

I would like to see if this match end with both men not being able to answer the Refs count. Meaning Sheamus can Fight with the best.

Im sure Trips will have no problem putting his weightlifting buddy Paleus over at Mania. What good will it do Trips to pocket another win at Mania. Trips has reached the Michaels/Taker status of despite losing is still way over with the crowd. Paleus needs this win, and he needs to win convincingly. Its almost like a make or break situation for Paleus, its like "yeah, you had the wwe championship for a couple of months, now what?"

I will keep this short, being as Mr.Supercrazy already said my post.

No purpose at all of Trips going over here, lest they have one fucking HELL of a match, and he somehow pulls it off in the bottom of the ninth. Thats actually not an unlikely thing, now I think of it.

Either Trips wins, but Sheamus looks dominant, and hurts Trips bad, or Sheamus wins, straight away. No purpose in even putting this on unless they make Sheamus legit.

Triple H vs. Sheamus- arguably on paper the stinker of the night- both quite similar in regards to styles and appearance. Can see this being the Triple H/Kozlov part II. However, did think this would be for a title so it's good that they've relegated this one to a mid card match- which if were honest is where it belongs. it'll be interesting to see how much time they give this on the night.

On another side note- did anyone hear the promo the other night on raw- triple h talking about his wrestlemania history- These are some of the things he said-

Years ago i was undefeated (Not quite- Duke Dumpster Droese- Free for all before the rumble 1996) and got crushed (By the Ultimate Warrior) I went down into pit of obscurity in the years that followed.

Became the guy everyone wanted to step into ring with,
Alot of guys tried- a few succeeded. a few eh?

Those peoples careers took off to unpresidented levels. And thats the short list. The long list is the guys who failed and went back down into a pit of obscurity. Those people became a footnote in the history of the wwe.
Are you sure- lets take a look shall we.

WM 12- Ultimate Warrior- Loss- Warriors career didn't quite fly following this one.

WM 13- Goldust- Win- Chris Jericho recently commented on how Goldust is in the shape of his life and wrestling some really good matches

WM 14- Owen Hart- Win- Owen died the following year- rumours suggest Owen was in line for a push at the time of his death (despite the gimmick) and was even due to get 'the game' moniker that triple H recieved instead.

WM 15- Kane- Loss- Kane has had a hihgly successful career- maybe not to the heights triple h suggests.

WM 16- Big Show, Mick Foley, The Rock- Win- Triple H's biggest win in my opinion- Not sure Show, Foley and the Rock have necessarily faded into obscurity however- slight contention over that claim there.

WM 17- Undertaker- Loss- Justified

WM 18 Chris Jericho- Win- Jericho- arguably one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and current World Heavy weight Champion- Obscurity?

WM 19- Booker T- Win- Another commendable wrestler- went on from this burial to become World Champion

WM20- Benoit & Michaels- Loss- Took off to unpresidented levels- Suppose so...

WM21- Batista- Loss- Justified

WM 22- Cena- Loss Justified- this shortlist of guys who he's lost to aint that short is it.

WM24- Cena & Orton- Another Loss- Hmm!

WM 25- Orton- Win- Orton is the biggest heel in the game today.

so Wins=6. Losses= 7. that short list he was refering to outweights the long list. The guys he has defeated have sure not all faded into obscurity. Was the point Triple H making completly... wrong.

I think what he should have said was that guys ive wanted to get over have beat me- and the others have not. As a result, they have faded into obscurity. I dont know guys?

It just seemed to me that the point he was making the other night was that cean and batista have beaten me and look how good they are- he really shouldnt have refered to his entire mania history.

I have been a big fan of Sheamus for a while now since before his WWE debut. I think he has alot more to show than we are seeing. I'm still waiting to see him do with Undertaker-esque dive. Maybe he'll break it out at Mania. I think this match has the ability to shock alot of people be a hidden gem in this years Mania. These two just come off as big, hard hitting sob's that can move fast. I'll be paying close attention to this match on that Sunday.

well, I guess the club of one is about to become the club of two. Sheamus might well join Batista in the short list of people Triple H has put over without later paying back the loss. Sheamus, like Batista, is Triple H's buddy, owes his push entirely to him, and seems the type as well. In fact, he reminds me a lot of Batista, just a lot more mobile. I'm not sold on Sheamus, but then I've never been sold on Batista, and if Sheamus doesn't go over this match was just a sham to get HHH on the Mania card. HHH should dole out an evil beating, Sheamus takes it all, fights back, and overpowers the game.

This one is acctualy easy match.Sheamus wins and HHH goes to vacation for 2-3 months. That is the best scenario because I dont think that Trips(or Shawn or Taker) would be there after wrestlemania

On the other hand HHH could win this one and then go to Backlash(or what it is called) and then get destroyed but I dont think that it would be as much as good if they want Sheamus to be presented as strong contender(wrestlemania is the grandest stage of them all!!!)
