TALE OF THE TAPE
WWE Champion John Cena both outfoxed and embarrassed Batista at Extreme Rules. With the challenger's feet taped together, the trapped Animal was unable to rise to the referee's count of 10, giving The Champ the Last Man Standing victory.

HOW 'STREET' IT IS
Heavily battered by The Celtic Warrior earlier in the night before their Street Fight even began, Triple H fought through potentially serious nerve damage to trade blows with Sheamus at Extreme Rules, where the Irishman prevailed.

RK-WOE
Randy Orton's errant attempt to RKO Jack Swagger cost him the World Title, but The Viper struck last at Extreme Rules.

The WWE's finest is available in the draft tonight.

It promises to be explosive!

No, just a lot of people dodging their cell phones.

Funaki made a major mistake by picking up his cell phone for the first time in years the other day.

Right now, Primo is sweating it out.

I'd love to watch Raw tonight live but have to be in college early. Should be a good show. I'm looking forward to some shocking switches.

Like I said in the TNA LD, no way I watch this poor excuse for "shocking" WWE programming over iMPACT!

Spoilers for the draft:

• Boring Vanilla Wrestler in need of "brand" change A will be drafted to SmackDown, and Boring Vanilla Wrestler in need of "brand" change B will be drafted to RAW.

• Never-got-over mid-carder A will be re-drafted to Smackdown, and Never-got-over mid-carder B will be re-drafted to RAW.

• Pissed off the wrong guy in the locker room/offices wrestler C will be drafted to ECW only to find out ECW is no longer in existence upon which he will report to FCW.

Damn, can't find that yawning/sleeping smiley anywhere when ya need it, can ya?

Oh wait, here it is:

I'll be over in the iMPACT! LD where at least we'll be discussing wrestling on a wrestling show, and not which 40-year old gets to work Tuesday nights for the 2010-11 calendar year because he's in with Vince, or worse yet –*watching two male model/frat boy rejects continue the same feud they've been in for what feels like two years now.

Despite the compelling argument made by the poster above, I'll be watching RAW tonight. Can't wait.

Yeah, instead you guys will be discussing which 50-year olds are working tonight on Impact. I mean, Ric Flair vs Abyss couldn't possibly be a bad match, could it? Yeah, in the match where they basically admit WWE is better by fighting over Hall of Fame rings that WWE GAVE THEM.

Oh and getting raging hard-ons over the thought of Shelton Benjamin going to TNA cause hE Doez teh flippys!!11

So, twenty total minutes of WRESTLING in a two hour WRESTLING show?

Who, with the exception of HHH, is pushing 40 years old? For all intents and purposes, it's rumored Batista is leaving. A guy over 60 is main eventing Impact tonight. Psssssst.... TNA is the retirement home for wrestlers.

I don't know what male model/frat boy reject feud you're talking about. The Legacy feud is over and Ted and Orton will probably be split up. Cody will probably be doing his own thing.

Yeah, let's not discuss RVD, AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, Kazarian, Shannon Moore or any of the other aspects of the show – nah, Flair's gonna wrestle in a dumb ass match with Abyss, so that's clearly enough to discredit the entire two-hour program for the same re-hashed "draft" bullshit the WWE pulls year-after-year-after-fucking-year when all the "big boys" in need of a "brand" change get drafted to the other side, and a couple lucky pricks who just so happen to be in with Vinnie Mac and his extended family get to work lighter schedules. :lmao:

Enjoy the Kool-Aid, bro.

It's still WCW 2000 with all the players who were there for WCW's demise there again, and not making any needed changes and are completely comfortable with it going down the tubes.

I happen to enjoy the draft as it goes ahead and resets things for a year, which gives us new angles, and new guys getting pushed. A lot of people do as well.

Also, whenever you use Shannon Moore to defend your argument, you've already lost, FYI.

Yeah, a show of RVD, AJ Styles and some wrestlers no one cares about. Top notch show. But don't get me wrong, WWE clearly underutilized Shannon Moore, the guy is obviously the next Stever Austin.

nah, Flair's gonna wrestle in a dumb ass match with Abyss, so that's clearly enough to discredit the entire two-hour program

You're being sarcastic, but yes. Or at least, it is when you add in that it's for Hall of Fame rings given to them by WWE, actually making the WWE HoF rings more credible than all the midcard TNA titles.

for the same re-hashed "draft" bullshit the WWE pulls year-after-year-after-fucking-year

Yeah, the idea of something in the wrestling industry being annual is just MAD I TELLZ YA!

when all the "big boys" in need of a "brand" change get drafted to the other side, and a couple lucky pricks who just so happen to be in with Vinnie Mac and his extended family get to work lighter schedules. :lmao:

Yes, no one in TNA is there simply because they're Hogan's friends. Certainly no irrelevant, out of shape, talentless tag teams from the 90's. Although, have the Nasty Boyz been fired yet? I care so little that I can't remember.

Says the guy who doesn't watch the fuckin' show, but has the audacity to call it WCW 2000 anyway? Don't worry man, if they haven't seen already, they soon will just how far your credibility goes. I'd imagine it's about as you can spit into the wind.

Lemme break it down for you, and feel free to insert any superstar of similar caliber into any of the bolded slots if you don't agree fully with what I've proposed:

Year 1: Batista is drafted to Smackdown where he feuds with the Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.
Year 2: Batista is drafted to RAW where he feuds with John Cena and HHH.
Year 3: Batista is drafted to Smackdown where he feuds with the Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.
Year 4: Batista is drafted to RAW where he feuds with John Cena and HHH.

You sensing a pattern here?

Also, whenever you use Shannon Moore to defend your argument, you've already lost, FYI.

No, actually, I haven't. Moore is a good wrestler who gets shit for no reason other than the fact that people think he's riding Hardy's coat tales, but I guarantee you were you he, you'd be doing the same regardless of whether he actually has or does – period. More hypocrisy from a WWE mark, who'd have thunk it?!

1. I watched pretty much all of impact, and that Flair match is the most heavily advertised match. They want us to look forward to the most.
2. Lets not discuss Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, John Cena, Jack Swagger, and I can go on, but I won't.

TNA "discredited" their own show by hyping a match involving WWE hall of fame rings. I for one find the idea of seeing which superstar is going to which show to be entertaining, since sometimes you can guess who is going to get a push by going to a new brand. Last year, Mark Henry received a minor push for a while coming out of the big trade. Not to mention this show generally has all inter-promotional matches, so we get to see matches we don't normally seem, which also makes the show interesting.

Enjoy the Kool-Aid, bro.
You enjoy your Kool-Aid, bro. Both companies dish out equal amounts of Kool-Aid, you just choose to drink a different color.

Your the guy who made that 'Why Does Moore get hate?' thread aren't you. I remember that. Batista actually remained on SD for 3 years from 05' through to 08' so that argument doesn't exactly work.

He's just been drinking what they served at Jamestown :)

Between shitty gimmick matches, people who should have retired years ago still sticking out at the forefront of the company, "stars" refusing to put talent over (Look no further than Angle/Anderson), and RUSSO, yes, it's WCW 2000. I can get more in-depth but I have places to be right now. I have no idea what you're trying to say in your last two sentences.

You sensing a pattern here?

Yes, because it's so crazy to think that main eventers would feud with other main eventers! Many wrestlers have been elevated thanks to the draft as well. It's to shake things up, and it's a success as it's usually the most anticipated Raw of the year. And tell me, when was the HHH/Batista feud this year? I must have missed it. Batista, by the way, has primarily been a Smackdown wrestler.

Go enjoy TNA tonight. I mean that as non-sarcastically as possible. You certainly have a passion for the product!

And you won't find a single complaint from me regarding that. It's a gimmick match over a gimmick no one gives a fuck about, but what would the WWE know about promoting things like that?

Nah, they discredited their main event – not their show. If you're so blind as to discredit the whole by the sum of one of it's parts, then I suggest you invest in a new eye exam soon, because you're probably missing out on a lot of things in your life that could be going on if only you had the patience to actually open your eyes to them.

You enjoy your Kool-Aid, bro. Both companies dish out equal amounts of Kool-Aid, you just choose to drink a different color.

I drink Yoo-Hoo, thank you very much.

These are called commas. They're designed to indicate a separation of ideas or of elements within the structure of a sentence. When one reads a paragraph, commas separate ideas or elements within the structures of the sentences that compose said paragraphs. If you're not intelligent enough to understand that, I suggest you bolster your mental capacity before trying to bring me down to your level again simply because you're not on mine.

It is pretty similar to WCW 2000, actually.

Lemme break it down for you, and feel free to insert any superstar of similar caliber into any of the bolded slots if you don't agree fully with what I've proposed:

Year 1: Batista is drafted to Smackdown where he feuds with the Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.

Which year was this, exactly? Because Batista never feuded with Rey Mysterio before last year. In fact, he was in a tag team with Mysterio. Also, He was on Smackdown for 3 years, 2005 to 2008 before going to Raw.

Year 2: Batista is drafted to RAW where he feuds with John Cena and HHH.

Batista feuded with Triple H on Raw before he was ever drafted to SD, and he only feuded with Triple H in 2005 and hasn't done it since. Also, one match with Cena is a feud? Really?

Year 3: Batista is drafted to Smackdown where he feuds with the Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.

Again, one match does not a feud make. Also, his feud with Mysterio was pretty entertaining.

Year 4: Batista is drafted to RAW where he feuds with John Cena and HHH.

....Yeah, he had his first proper feud with John Cena since joining Raw a couple of months ago. Although, also, Triple H is taking time off. Hmm. Although, I'm begging you, please try again. I'm begging you, reply. Cause I'm here showing you how everything you say is bullshit and you're not acknowledging it. Sad. Are my posts invisible or something?

Oh also, I'd still rather watch John Cena vs Batista for the rest of the year than a Flair vs Hogan "Who has the bigger floppy man boobs" feud.

You made the point that The Boogeyman was a failed gimmick, something that it was but he's been off of TV since 08', whereas Shark Boy despite lack of appearances still has his falied gimmick and is still employed by TNA.
