Wrestlezone Tournament Draw LD

Phew. That was a close one. Thought I might not have been fulfilling my responsibilities, but I'm falling comfortably within my bracket.

Anyone who's spent as much time as you have making elaborately clever CM Punk signatures is certainly more than just a casual wrestling fan.

Hayabusa vs. Sting?

Man that's fucking LAME. The ONE person I wouldn't vote Hayabusa over is his first round match-up. How unlucky is that?

Well ok then. Corresponding to my list, that means we're headed to Montreal, San Francisco, Vancouver and Detroit.

Besides that whole NWA champion in the 70's thing?

Yoko v. Austin, let the IC spin cycle begin.

Spin? Ausin is just the type of guy Yoko would destroy. It shouldn't even be close, so why spin?

Yoko was ever defeated on WWF by TWO undersized guys. Shawn Michaels. And that was when Yoko was 600+ lbs and very slow. And the other Bret Hart, whom Yoko was dominating until he fell off the top rope. In his prime at 505-550 lbs, Yoko only ever had trouble with Hogan, Luger, Vader, and Ahmed Johnson - all huge monsters, 2 of whom could body slam him. Austin's Lou Thesz press is useless against Yoko, and to get close nough for a Stunner he risks a belly to belly.

Yoko > Austin, easy.

That's a well reasoned point there, IC.

However, as with last year's tournament, well-reasoned points only go so far against fan icons like Austin. Best of luck to you anyway, mate.

Yep. Austin beat Yoko the sme way Hart did - a lucky issue with the ropes. Austin needed a freak accident to beat Yoko when Yoko was FAR past his prime. Again, the Yoko in this match was the 600+ lb Yoko, not the 505-lb monster from 1993.

This video serves as proof that Yoko in his prime would annihilate Steve Austin in his prime.

If ye seriously will defend Yoko over Austin, I shall meet you at that duel. I'll gladly take up arms to defend monsieur Austin.

Austin > Yoko all day baby. ALL. DAY.
