Just because it is a law doesn't mean that it is right.Millions of people have been hurt by these laws and some have even died. It doesn't mean that these people are criminals. They did nothing wrong they smoked a natural plant that does very little harm. By you defending these stupid laws and saying that these innocent people are criminals makes you sound like a brainwashed robot wearing a blind fold who follow the herd and go with the flow.
These are the laws set by the government against pot that you are now defending. The same government that has spreading lies about marijuana since it has been illegal. So I’m suppose to just let these innocent people be walked all over treated like shit because it is a law.

Because gangs wouldn't just keep selling cocaine, heroin and the other drugs they sell right? One of the biggest sources for gang revenue is cocaine. There would also no longer be gang on gang violence right? Gangs would quit beating up, robbing and killing innocent people because they're no longer selling pot right? I live in a town where there was a shootout on a college campus because of a song that was played at a party that some gang members felt a rival gang had the dj play to mock them. Innocent people were shot in the cross fire and one girl trying to get away was run over by a car and had both of her legs broken. There are robberies and shootings every day here. We have the highest murder and crime rate per capita in my state and most of it comes back to gangs. I was reading this thread because it was interesting to me but reading this comment you posted was incredibly ridiculous.

I know you're pretty good at sniffing out biased and one sided viewpoints, so I was wondering if you could find any sources of these lies about marijuana that the government are spreading. Just some links to websites or whatever suits you. Not being from america, I dont have a direct experience of the things you discuss.

Watch the movie Reefer Madness that was a propaganda film to make marijuana illegal.
Today however that movie is considered to be more of a comedy.In the 30s all they did was spread lies like how smoking marijuana causes black people to play the devils music or that your going to rape women. They basically said if you smoke pot then you have no future.
If they you won't have a future if you smoke pot then why do we have so many successful pot heads.

No man, you misunderstood my request.
I want stuff coming from the government. This was all reformed cop stuff and comedians mixed with scenes from the twilight zone. I cant use that.
Do you have anything from a government publication from in the last ten years or anything? That would be super.

Also I looked up Ramarley Graham. What you failed to mention was he ran from police after buying his weed and they thought they saw a gun in his waistband. Plus his brothers that were with him when he bought his pot and ran were known for gang activity including bringing guns into the area. So given the fact that he ran and the cops thought he had a gun the police felt justified in shooting him. Could it have been prevented? Yes. Was it a questionable call by the police to shoot him? Yes. They were wrong and he didn't have a gun. However it's his fault for running from them. If he had just put his hands up as he was instructed to do he wouldn't have been shot. You can't say he was shot and killed just for having weed. You're leaving out a lot of the details when you do.

I can't because there is no actual evidence of what the government said. There is no recorded case of cancer cause by marijuana or not a single death. Everything that was said was just said they government has no proof either that marijuana is bad and that is because it isn't.

William Randolph Hearst helped make Reefer Madness and he is the one of the main reasons why marijuana was made illegal after he started a campaign saying marijuana will make you do all these terrible things with no evidence.

By me not being able to show you a case is more proof that is because there is no document made by the government that says these are all lies. When it comes to gang violence all I said was less even if you say there won't be. Making pot legal will still has way more benefits.

More reason to why marijuana should be legal you can go to any supermarket and find plenty of inhalant products that could kill someone with just one time trying it. Inhalants are terrible for the body and actually does real damage to the body unlike marijuana. We don't see MS patients inhaling paint thinner to make their MS better. I never did any type of inhalant and don't plan on doing it anytime soon. It's OK to sell all these potentially harmful products if there used the wrong way but selling or smoking pot is wrong. How does that make any sense?

No, no, no, I'm not looking for the scientific tests or anything. Just what the government themselves released. Anything with a stamp on it or something like that.
Just that you keep mentioning this government propoganda and these faked facts that they put out. I cant seem to find what youre fighting against.
Surely there must be some from the recent vote in washington etc? SOMEBODY must have been against it, surely, if it is as heavily fought by the government?? Wouldnt this have been the best time to find propoganda??
