I thought the Venn Diagram was quite clear in demonstrating that it is quite possible to believe that marijuana should be legal AND that you're an idiot. I'm guessing visual learning isn't your thing either. :(

I'm not against decriminalization, as stated earlier. As far as full legalization of recreational and medical use marijuana is concerned, I'll see how it goes in Washington and Colorado before I come to any solid conclusions on it.

You do realize that 21,000 is a long way from half of America's population don't you? If half of the population wanted marijuana legal then wouldn't they rise to the occasion to get this so called innocent man free? Or are they like me and just don't give a shit either way?

I think a big reason to that is he is not getting any media cover. The news can show you how they think Derek Jeter is getting fat but they can't talk about a innocent man dieing in prison for doing nothing wrong and following th state laws. The media doesn't seem to like showing the victims from marijuana. That's why it is up to us to get Chris Williams name out there and show how he did nothing wrong. If media won't cover it then it is up to the people to let everyone know who Chris Williams is. They only need 25,000 and the list keeps on growing and growing. Maybe you should be a more caring individual and care that innocent man who is a victim from marijuana is going to die in prison. This man has been taken away from his family and is sitting behind bars in a private prison. All he did was provide legal medicine for terminally ill and disabled patients while following all the state laws. The real crime is that Chris Williams is behind bars for doing nothing wrong. The real crime is that Chris Williams will die in prison if he is found guilty. The real crime is that marijuana is illegal.

What about the 18 states that already have medical marijuana legal and things are working out fine? What about Amsterdam where the people are not abusing ? Over 30% less kids smoke there and even less people there move on to harder drugs. Colorado and Washington will show everyone that marijuana needs to be legalized in all 50 states. Marijuana can bring in over a billion dollars. So instead of spending and wasting billions of dollars keeping marijuana illegal, we could be making billions of dollars. Legalizing marijuana can help save the world. I just don’t understand why it is taking this long. I don’t get why marijuana is illegal. I don’t get why marijuana is a schedule 1 drug.No one can ever give me a good reason to why marijuana is illegal.

It makes no sense that you can get 30 years for sexually abusing kids in the shower but 80 years for growing a plant that was used to provide medicine for terminally ill and disabled patients.

It’s sad that a plant that provides this many medical benefits is illegal. I think it is sad that you people are so hung up on this law thing without realizing the benefits of marijuana. Before you bash me for nothing more then a minor grammar error or bashing me without reason without realizing that everything I’m saying about marijuana is right.

I think everybody should smoke pot proud going against the system saying “I smoke pot and I’m not a criminal”. More people should be proud that they smoke pot because they know all the benefits it provides. Be proud and smoke pot because you know there is not one good reason that any one as yet to tell me on why marijuana is illegal. Let society know that you smoke pot and function normally just like everybody else in the world. Let them know that you smoke pot and are a responsible person.

It makes no sense that you can’t get a job if pot shows up in your pee when most of the hard dangerous drugs will be out of your system in a few days. If you can’t get a job if you smoke pot then the same should go for tobacco and alcohol. There is no problem with a person taking a smoke break when what they are smoking is the leading cause of death. There’s nothing wrong if drink after work. So why should it be a problem for someone who smokes a little pot after a hard day of work? Why can that affect his future? Pot smokers have been steeped on for way too long and it's up to us to make cannabis legal in our lifetime. Which we are already at the start off.Until marijuana is legal every where we can never just smoke peacefully at our own privacy.

Corn and wheat defeat pot in the 'greatest plant' category by a few hundred billion people, btw. Provided that we go backwards in time with it, if we're only counting people currently alive, it's just a few billion.

No disrespect to corn and wheat I'm a big supporter of the two and enjoy eating the two. Corn or Wheat can't provide everything that the cannabis plant can provide. Look at hemp we can make around 25,000 things from hemp anywhere from dynamite to plastic. Hemp can also be provided for lots of different medicines. You can make clothes out of this plant. You can fuel your car with hemp. This plant could even reverse the green house effect. Marijuana as well can open your mind to great things and can also provide amazing medical benefits. You can also get food from the cannabis plant. People have been using the cannabis plant for thousands and thousand of years.

Many of our first inventions are because of hemp. We have been making stuff with hemp more than 1,000 years before Christ. I'm sorry but corn and wheat don't even come close to beating the cannabis plant. Corn and Wheat don't provide all of those medical benefits in the picture above. Corn and Wheat are great plants quite possibly number 2 and 3 for greatest plants but they don’t even provide all the benefits that the cannabis plant. There is no other plant or other thing in the world that you can so many benefits and do so many great things just with one plant.
