Well I have a points scheme on seeding as explained in a previous post. These give the game you want more points to get a higher seeding.

Ever think you just picked up shitty games? Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and God of War: Chains of Olympus are all fantastic titles on the system. I also find the console to be more comfortable to play than my DS.

My Dreamcast game was Shenmue.

No surprise there.

This is shaping up to be a great tournament that will in all likelihood be ruined by the haters voting out the opposition (Halo over FF VII? Fuck you!) and the kids voting against anything that isn't PS3 or Xbox. The winner will be a cross platform game that has been released in the last 5 years. I've a horrible sense that COD Modern Warfare is the one to avoid.

COD didn't do great last year thank god. FF7 was screwed though, but at least it was by an FPS that I can stand to play for more than five minutes. Great choices Lee, I love Dragon Quest VIII.

I think the caliber of gamers is a lot different to last time round and COD went out first round to Chrono Trigger.

The N64 was the star last time round and the saturn was nowhere to be seen. Some things don't change.

Yep it didn't do too well last time but I think we'll have more voters this time, and that always benefits the populist games.
As for Final Fantasy VII. It's always a target for the bitches who object to the love it gets. It'll never win this competition, won't even get close.

Some great choices there, Lee. Shenmue and 6 Golden Coins in particular.

Also, the PSP doesn't suck. It's a useful little multimedia system with some fun games on it to boot.

Some awesome, awesome choices on that list. Hoping more than one picked some of the same that were on my list but I don't think so. There are lots of really good games that could have a shot in some way that don't get the time of day.

Yeah that was the problem last year with FFVII and the Zelda titles. I still hold that Goldeneye didn't win with people voting for it, OOT lost the final with people voting against.

Lee is officially exempt from all the horrible things I am going to say about everybody.

Crafted out my list... the one pick per console list was a little difficult for me since so much of what I wanted to push was for the PC. In fairness, the PC has existed far longer than a traditional console, and picking something that ran on Windows 95 and something that ran on 7 is really no different that picking something for the PS2 and PS3.

I love how the whole argument for Halo was it was a evolution (completely ignoring that FF VII and most certainly Shenmue were bigger steps forward) and ultimate FPS and then completely ignore that argument in the next round and abandon Halo in favour of a game from a previous console.

Halo did not deserve to make it that far in the slightest. It's better than COD but that isn't saying much.

Shenmue needs to be buried up to the neck in hot sand and pelted with rocks until it stops moving.

I've never played the game, but a little bird once told me that it was responsible for those ******* quick time events I now see cropping up everywhere.
