I dunno... I don't go near that thing.

I've updated the first page with new information, by the way. If only the person who's drawn no. 1 would make his pick... Jesus Christ, I though Cola was reliable at least.

I'd enforce the time limit more strictly but this is such an important stage in the game I don't want to screw him over. Yet.

The screen flickers into action... the lights come up... and the crowd comes alive.

LWE is back!

Shane McMahon stands proudly in the centre, basking in the glory of the cheers and chants of "LWE! LWE!" that resound around the Birmingham NIA, the new home of wrestling. He slowly raises a microphone to his lips, and utters four simple words. Words that will shake the foundations of wrestling. Words to strike fear into hearts of competitors. And words to send the Birmingham fans into a frenzy of cheers, knowing what an amazing product the LWF will be...

"Stone. Cold. Steve. Austin!"

In short:

Brand Name: Lightning Wrestling Entertainment (LWE)
General Manager: Shane McMahon
First Pick: Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Name: IPW (International Professional Wrestling)

General Manager: Paul Heyman

First Pick: Kurt Angle

I've got a new approach. One I think'll work. Besides, I can afford to take risks, the worst I've ever done is drawn first.

remember last time we had the dispute with using Gms as wrestlers? If someone takes like Mick Foley, could he still be used as a wrestler?

I'm going to make a judgement now and say that wrestlers, guys like Shane and Vince excluded as they're not really wrestlers, can't be used as GMs. As for guys like William Regal... I'll decide at the time.

Alright fair enough. it sounds fair.

Or we could all just pick guys we know can't wrestle, I know the guy I want isn't a wrestler in any way whatsoever, and I don't see why Brian and Strafro can't do the same.

Comments on picks, anyone?

Seeing as by commenting on my own I might give away my game plan early, I'll just talk about Cola's.

I wasn't surprised to see Cola pick Austin - he's at least the second greatest wrestler of all time and a man that appeals to the current generation of fans more than even Hogan. If Cola had picked someone else, I would have gone for Austin and my show would be going in a different direction.

However, Shane McMahon as a GM seems a rather odd choice to me, as the premier choices seem to be Vince, Bischoff, Heyman and even Stephanie...

Nice to see you resurrected the LWF's name, I guess. To me though, I was never blown away by it. It just never made sense to me.

Tell me when it's your turn and I'll see what I can do...

Mr Sams. I know you love Kurt Angle, but that pick shocked me. I now want to see where you are heading with this.

It was a bit of a risk. I think that Hogan, Rock, Undertaker, Michaels or whoever like that would've been a better pick. However, in the context of the direction I'm taking my brand in, I think Kurt's a better choice than anyone to be the first addition to IPW.

Well I've already said a few times I was picking Theodore Long as GM, unless someone else picks him, and if they do, it's still not that big of a blow to my plans. I don't think anyone can/will argue Teddy Long is a wrestler.

Haha if we want to pick guys that ain't wrestlers, I might just pick....

DERF!!!

Haha that'd get people tuning in eh?

I think the first two picks basically show the two different ways the shows could go.

By Cola taking Austin he gets one of the best of all time, Austin is a fan favorite that everybody loves and people want to see, he is great on the mic and everytime he is seen provides great entertainment, this is a rather obvious pic as he is one of the all time greats.

Sam taking Angle is an interesting pick, but one thing it does guarantee him is that his top pick will provide a great match each and every time he enters the ring. Angle truly is a wrestling machine and really knows how to get the crowd going in matches. It may not be the obvious Rock, Hogan, Taker' pick, but Angle is one of the best at what he does and puts on a great show every time he steps into the ring.

I think you nailed that and summed that up perfectly. Austin was my choice last time, I had a good Savage Austin match but i never got around to doing it after my computer crashed.

The first of what is sure to be many promotional posters:

Mike, I've got to say that I regret not having you in this draft. With that one post, you've proved your quality. While I can't really backtrack and give you a place now - although I may still think it over - rest assured that your contributions here are very well received and you're very welcome to join the next draft.

Sam, we have 5 people, and we havn't all gone yet. Although this is your thing, I can see no reason why we can't let him in now. Give him slot 6, it's not to late. I was actually gonna say this guy has been popping up everywheres on Wrestlezone, he's not WZ green anymore, let him in. Ask anyone, a 6 man draft will beat a 5 man draft anyday. Or even have a vote. Somthing. I want more people, and this guy looks good.

Thanks, i will continue to give my opinions throughout the duration of this thing.

Well, Mike, would you want the sixth slot? Not guaranteeing it, but if you say yes it'll go into serious consideration, particularly if more contestants agree.
