Ok Mr. Moses let me break this down… GWA vs. PWF… for a start our GM’s. Shane McMahon is the most talented wrestler who isn’t a full time wrestler I think the WWE has ever seen, but he proved to be a poor GM in the invasion angle, didn’t get over in that at all. Eric Bischoff is a proven draw as GM, he is proven to be unpredictable (giving out the Monday night Raw results) and underhand.

Our First picks: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart, let me take you back to Wrestlemania 13, Bret Hart through everything he had at Austin and Austin still never quit! In the words of Austin “put an S in front of hitman and you have my opinion of Bret Hart. Austin carried the WWF through the attitude era, with the exception of perhaps the rock he literally carried the whole of the movement on his shoulders… now say what you like about Hart, I am not silly, he can put on a hell of a match, yet he couldn’t carry a company nearly as well as Austin can. Hart may be a bigger draw to some wrestling purists, but Austin can draw in almost anyone if he wanted to, he made wrestling popular again.

Our second picks: Ric Flair and Kurt Angle. Ok it’s going to be tough to dissect these two, both are huge draws, both have proved gold on the Mic, both have given so much to the business. All I will say is that Ric Flair is not a 16 time world champion for no reason and he has had one of the most sustained, long careers in the history of the business. These two are close but just because of who he is really again Ric Flair has the edge.

Our third picks: Sting and Randy Savage. Again two names who are draws and who deservedly have heartfelt respect in the business, all I will say is, Randy Savage was a draw in both WWF and WCW and even in TNA for a while, but Sting never came to the WWE, he even admitted it was because he was scared that he would be buried, the fact that Savage can go anywhere and not get buried or even be fearful of being buried is the soul reason why I’d always choose him over Sting!
Our Fourth picks: Chris Benoit Vs Razor Ramon/ Scott Hall. Ok, you win, 3 – 1 to me, one thing that might get me back in but I admit its clutching at straws, was the radicals going to WWF as monumental as Hall and Nash leaving WWF for WCW to form the outsiders?

Our Fifth Picks: Ok 3 – 2 to me still- but I’d rather have my first 3 picks than both of your last two so nah nah nah nah nahhhhhhh

Our Sixth Picks: Ricky Steamboat vs. Owen Hart, now some would score you this round too making it 3 – 3, but Owen deserved a lot more in wrestling, its tragic his career was cut short and I will not use this to try and earn a vote because I feel what he did in his short time put him on a par with the dragon anyway IMO…so this round is a tie… It’s still 3-2 to me.

Our 7th picks: Dean Malenko Vs. Tom Billington: On wrestling these too are inseparable, but I’m taking this round because overall The Dynamite kid was more exciting and achieved more than Dean Malenko, also it is Tom Billington who inspires people like Benoit and Jericho to become wrestlers. He gave so much he now has a nail through his toe!!

Our 8th picks: Brian Pillman vs. Arn Anderson. I don’t want to say much bad about Pillman, but even you would admit, given a choice you would have Anderson on your roster over Pillman- 5-2 to me

Our 9th Picks: Tully Blanchard Vs Scott Steiner… a draw, both worked best in successful tag teams, individually Steiner Sucks and I’m not too familiar with Tully Blanchard’s singles work.

Our tenth picks: Rick Steiner vs Alex Shelly. Now we would say Steiner because he has been around for longer, but Shelly imo is more talented and has much more to give than we have seen… so again I’m going to mark this round a draw.

Our 11th picks: Chris Sabin versus ultimo dragon, you win this round, nuff said. 5 – 3

Our 12th picks: The British Bulldog versus Road Warrior Animal: I win because although both had massively successful tag team success, Davey Boy Smith is more talented singles star. 6 – 3

Our 13th Picks: Raven Vs Psycho Sid: I win, Psycho Sid has proven more of a draw over both men’s careers, he has held world heavyweight gold in both WWF and WCW, Raven, although a good pick and a talented wrestler has not ever come close to reaching these heights outside of ECW.

Eric Bischoff is a proven draw as GM, he is proven to be unpredictable (giving out the Monday night Raw results) and underhand.

Ratings when Bischoff was RAW GM manager in 2003 averaged 3.8.
Ratings when Shane was a GM during the Invasion angle (I don't think he was a GM you know, but ok) = 4.6.

So, during Bischoffs tenure in the WWE, he didn't prove much of a draw did he?

jpfizzleOur First picks: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart, let me take you back to Wrestlemania 13, Bret Hart through everything he had at Austin and Austin still never quit! Austin is a bigger draw. Bret is a better wrestler.

jpfizzleOur second picks: Ric Flair and Kurt Angle. Ok it’s going to be tough to dissect these two, both are huge draws, both have proved gold on the Mic, both have given so much to the business. Angle isn't a big draw. At all. Overall though, I would give the edge to Flair.

jpfizzleOur third picks: Sting and Randy Savage.

Personally, I think Sting is a better wrestler. Both of them at their best, I'd say Sting could draw more people. After all, he was the second biggest mechandise seller in 1997/8 (can't remember which one) behind Austin.

jpfizzleOur Fifth Picks: Ok 3 – 2 to me still- but I’d rather have my first 3 picks than both of your last two so nah nah nah nah nahhhhhhh

Both as singles wrestlers aren't great draws. Mr. Perfect is the better wrestler.

Personally, I prefer Steamboat to Owen. I'd put his trilogy with Flair and IC title match with Savage above anything Owen did.

jpfizzleOur 7th picks: Dean Malenko Vs. Tom Billington: On wrestling these too are inseparable, but I’m taking this round because overall The Dynamite kid was more exciting and achieved more than Dean Malenko, also it is Tom Billington who inspires people like Benoit and Jericho to become wrestlers. Achieved more? How so? On influence alone, Tom would win. Personally I think Malenko was a better wrestler though.

Our 8th picks: Brian Pillman vs. Arn Anderson. I don’t want to say much bad about Pillman, but even you would admit, given a choice you would have Anderson on your roster over Pillman

Anderson > Pillman. Can't argue here.

Our 9th Picks: Tully Blanchard Vs Scott Steiner… a draw, both worked best in successful tag teams, individually Steiner Sucks and I’m not too familiar with Tully Blanchard’s singles work.

Steiner has achieved more as a singles than Tully...both were fantastic in their primes. I'd take early Steiner over Tully, and take Tully over later era Steiner. But the Steiner in my roster is based on his early days with Rick, so he wins.

Our tenth picks: Rick Steiner vs Alex Shelly. Now we would say Steiner because he has been around for longer, but Shelly imo is more talented and has much more to give than we have seen… so again I’m going to mark this round a draw.

Basing them on their overall achievements thus far and general entertainment value, I'm pick Steiner due to his run as the Steiners.

Our 11th picks: Chris Sabin versus ultimo dragon, you win this round, nuff said.

Pretty much.

Our 12th picks: The British Bulldog versus Road Warrior Animal: I win because although both had massively successful tag team success, Davey Boy Smith is more talented singles star.

How do you know Davey is a more talented singles star? Animal never wrestled as a singles.

Basing them off their overall achievements, influence and legacy, I'm picking Animal.

Pretty much.

Based on both our arguments things are pretty much, give or take even with our rosters, but the GWA is better than PWF because stone cold said so... no.

because of I think whereas you may have the edge JUST! and i mean JUST! in terms of wrestling ability my show provides much more entertainment, there is a lot more I can do with my roster, whereas you have dream matches that write themselves without needing much of a story, they all seem quite one off, whereas in the long run, if our two shows where running side by side in say a monday night war, i think my show has more longevity to make it last over your show.

:flair:

Wow quite an argument when I was gone, I am not going to say my roster is the best, cuz I will leave that to the voters, everybodies is good in my opinion, damn it numbers, I know he is not going to be here, Strafo is supposed to draft for him.

Me and Matty moo where only jesting... you on the other hand...psssht... kiss up! :flair:

joke

I dont need to kiss up to anybody, its just a fact, how the hell do I know who will get the votes, everybody has different tastes, oh and I was only jesting too, whatever the hell that means! LOL

Well the problem is he said he probably wouldn't be here, and strafo was supposed to make his picks. The first time he missed it didn't count against him, so he would have to miss both. I dont know what Cola will do, but dealing with this every weekend will be a little rediculous.

Neither of you are getting in. He's given us prior warning, and therefore will not be disqualified. He does miss his pick, and will have to pick it up at the end of the draft, but he is NOT disqualified. End of story.

Anyway, it's been 17 hours dead on since Raven was picked. 1 hour left on numbers first pick, then he forfiets it and his second 18 hours start.

:undertaker2:

EDIT: Admittedly, having an entire weekends worth of drafting missed does piss me off. However, if he gave Straf his picks, that technically means that Straf has missed his picks, and not numbers. What do I do, disqualify strafro? I don't think so somehow. It's irritating for sure, but I don't really have a choice. I made the rules, I'm bound by them as much as anyone else.

So it looks like numbers second pick with be missed after 1:30am ET, so Moses you will be up Monday morning, unless you are actually on at 1:30.

Alright, i dont really understand the translation from GMT to ET or vice versa, which is why I keep on stating it in ET.

I don't understand the translation either. The WZ clock shows in GMT on my computer, as per my personal settings.
