No, AJ put on a semi-entertaining match. Matt simply took part in it.
And I LOL'd throughout the entire Main Event. I legit thought Hardy was high as a fucking kite or at the least on something. When he wouldn't throw his shirt, and Sting wouldn't attack him - yet Hardy kept watching him like he was a bear about to strike and it seemed as if Hardy was actually scared of him just standing there.
The most fucked up thing about the entire ME was Sting's heavily padded front area. I mean, really. Why would you need that much padding on an area you don't really fall onto all that much?? Creepy.
Maybe Hardy was scared of Sting's tights. I know I was.

IDK what everyone is mad about. I loved the PPV. And the Main Event was just icing on the cake for me to give it a A+. GREAT JOB TNA WORTH WATCHING. CAN'T WAIT FOR THURSDAY!!!!

I was upset that, with my new-found interest in all things wrestling (as opposed to JUST the WWE), I had wasted my evening with this entire PPV, and the last few minutes of the entire thing just about turned into a "new-found-interest-in-all-things-wrestling-except-for-TNA".
You know, until I found out what likely happened.
Now this is fucking hilarious. The reason I'm going to keep following TNA is to see how many bad business decisions they can make between now and when the finally shit the bed and sink far, far, far underwater.

It's good to watch it again now that you know what's going on, gives you a new perspective. I wonder if Tazz and Tenay knew what was going on backstage or if they were totally in the dark about it. They sounded a little confused when Hardy came out, as if they were surprised to see him.
It's OBVIOUS that Bischoff was telling Sting and Hardy the new finish at the beginning of the match, which is a laugh. They had to wait until Jeff Hardy came out to figure he was in no condition to wrestle? They couldn't work THAT out in the first two and a half hours of the PPV? You'd think with Bischoff's experience working with drunks in WCW he'd have some idea of how to handle these situations. Apparently not.
I think Hardy was trying to stall at the beginning of the match, maybe to soak up the spotlight while he could. You know how drunk chicks like to act ******ed for attention? Well...
Hardy clearly tried to kick out of the pin, and then he got upset and smacked the turnbuckle. I wonder if that was him acting or if he was actually that pissed off.
And finally, though you can't hear the fan's chanting bullshit, you can obviously see and hear Sting saying I agree to them.

I have no clue what's true, and what isn't. However, I have two eyes, and what I saw was Sting Deathdrop the living shit out of Jeff Hardy, and hold that crack-head down for the 1-2-3. I thought, while watching it, there was an actual chance of Sting beating the fuck out of Hardy, right then and there, had Jeff decided to make too much of a fuss. Hilarious.
