I'd love to say the backstage segment between Scott Steiner and Eric Young counter-acted the rest of what was shit on iMPACT....it almost did but not quite.

- Jersey Shore scenario - Ummmm. I don't get it. So it's like a feud between two people from Jersey Shore, so theoretically it's designed to put one over. Then unless one of them is sticking around for a while what's the point? The reason celebs come in is to put the wrestler over, how are Robbie and Cookie going to benefit, but being loosely affiliated to someone in the whole story? I don't get it. It should be just JWow returning and getting beat down by cookie, to make up for the mishap last time, but nah, that would make entirely too much sense, why make sense when you could DO SOMETHING COMPLETELY ILLOGICAL as long as someone is throwing money at you to do it? Good question.

- The Jarretts/Kurt and Bully/D-von - This isn't a flaw with these stories, the flaw is these are probably the most consistent sensible things in TNA, and given that all guys involved are around the 40 year mark it signals disaster. That was until some jackass named Tommy Dreamer got inadvertently interjected for no real reason into the latter of the two situations, only the first one now makes any sense/really has my undivided attention.

- AJ/Flair/Hernandez segment - One word. MESSY. Just very very messy. Looks like Hernandez' work in AAA has done nothing to improve his in-ring safety judging by last week and this. Am I the only guy finding it hard to generate any sympathy for Matt Morgan about Hernandez costing him a world title shot? Not only for the fact that he (kayfabe) already had at least 2 recently and lost clean, but for when Morgan "put him on the shelf" just last year which is a more heinous crime. I could only hope other people with a 12 month memory backlog will appreciate this hitch.

- The 3/3/11 promo thing - It actually made me giggle. My first thought when I saw it was how funny would it be if people started speculating going is it UNDERTAKER? I didn't mind what they tried to do here, playing on WWE's heat apart from the fact it's blatantly obvious who it will be here unlike in WWE's case, but that's hard to help. It wasn't overly explicitly copying WWE but it was still noticeable, I'll put my hand up and say I liked it. What ensues when that guy does return will likely be another matter. For instance, he takes one step into the ring and I'll develop alopecia.

They are the main things I can remember.

So as you likely know by now, the main attraction last night on Impact was the return of Sting who won the world title from Jeff Hardy. Dixie Carter mentioned on Twitter that you needed to set your DVRs 15 minutes late for Impact last night as it was running long. Apparently someone forgot to tell DirecTV that as the recording cut off just as Sting makes his entrance. I guess on a taped show we had to air BOTH wedding segments instead of just airing the one that had the major punchline at the end. We really needed Karen to have cake on her face right?

Second, on the DirecTV preview for next week's show that was listed for the 3/10 show, the description read: "New TNA World Champion Sting speaks out on his shocking return". Well done TNA.

Nice job guys.

Aren't DirecTV and Spike the one's who write that?

*waits for Shittered Creams and IBS* to make their inevitable appearance*

Anyway this sounds about right, at this point you really can't expect much else from Total Nonstop Atrocity anymore...can you?

That's funny cause earlier this week you said this about Raw...

What is it with hanging spoilers from the roof on Raw now? First the Undertaker symbol last week and now that cage.

Yet it's somehow ok for TNA cut off the ending of their show, which just so happen to be "the biggest moment in wrestling this year" & for them to then post a spoiler in the description for the following weeks show

TNA needs to get on the phone with DirecTV and Don Callis (cause apparently he's teh one running spike now?), and tell them to STOP POSTING SPOILERS IN THE DAMN DESCRIPTION!!, and that they are gonna over run about 10-15 mins, so don't cut off the ending of the fucking show!!!, that or they could have just gotten rid of the whole stupid wedding bullshit

I was talking about the description of the program. Even so, I still don't see what the structure of the arena flat out telling you things about the show has to do with a network cutting off a program. Must've been only stateside then. I saw the show whole on DirecTV. Then again, they don't offer the PPVs.

TNA could easily just call DirecTV & Spike and say " hey don't reveal that we have a new champion in the description"

Yeah wow, they told us that Taker was coming back, which anyone watching the 2/21/11 promos already new because they made it clear with them that he was coming back, and they hung a cage from the ceiling which told you nothing more than that we were going to be getting a cage match that night, didn't tell you who was going to be in the cage or when the cage match was going to take place, or what further stipulation they were gonna add to the cage match, nothing on Raw was spoiled by either of those two things, which btw you didn't even see until the night of the show when you were already fucking watching it

Yeah. Shame WWE can't afford a simple tarp.

Yeah because they have time to go up and untarp shit hanging from the fucking ceiling while filming a LIVE show, you know that other thing that TNA has failed at, that WWE does weekly with great success

Seriously WWE as well as other wrestling promotions have been hanging steel cages from above the ring for fucking decades, nobody considers it a fuckign spoiler, I've explained why to you multiple times, not doing it again

Anybody bitching about a cage hanging over a ring just wants to bitch. So fucking stupid.

Not to mention there was no need to hide the Taker symbol. They showed his damn face in the vignette. We knew it was him so there was nothing to be spoiled.
