The Crowd at Raw Tonight

To anyone who has been watching Raw tonight, it seems to me that the crowd seems even more fired up than last night at Wrestlemania. The crowd has been chanting YES! YES! YES! all night. What does the WWE need to do to draw crowds of this type on a more consistent basis?

Its almost a repeat of Zack Ryder. They're chanting his name nonstop. Sheamus looked around at the crowd when they were chanting for D-Bry and he looked like he had no clue how to react to it.

Personally, i find the crowd annoying. They keep chanting for Daniel Bryan, or chanting "Yes yes yes". Don't get me wrong, its great that the crowd is hot, but its annoying when they won't stop chanting the same damn thing.

I like Daniel Bryan too, but crowds like that that seem to have no respect for the other wrestlers.

I couldn't agree more. I was talking to my MAJOR SMARK buddy tonight and he of course loves it. I, like you, find it disrespectful and annoying. Daniel Bryan is undeniably a great wrestler but I don't find him entertaining in the least. His "barely squeaking by" gimmick could only work so long before it caught up to him.

This crowd is awesome! They chant "YES" "NO" "SI"! lol Plus, I don't know if anyone else caught this, but during the CM Punk match they chanted "We Want Lesnar". They're coming here to Florence, SC next month. I hope our crowd is as wild as this one! IT really does make the show more fun!

I just talked about this crowd in the thread about sounds. Its the best crowd ive seen on RAW for years! Maybe EVER. When you have a crowd like this, you can make a match between Hornswoggle and Betty White look like HHH/Taker.
On another note, you gotta beleive that after tonight...Vince is going to continue the push of Daniel Bryan and maybe kicking hiself for the match at Mania. Vince loves people who are over with the crowd and Daniel Bryan is OVER.
They are also very fun. I laughed my ass of when the crowd chanted "SI SI SI!" and crowds like this are usually mostly IWC fans which makes it that much better. You can tell by the "Lesnar" Chant. This is Great!

Well, we all got what we wanted, Cena lost, 20-0 a pretty decent match imo from Y2J & Punk and to top it all off, I imagine most of the people who went from Europe ect to America for Wrestlemania also attended Raw tonight so they're still buzzing

I love watching Raw with a hot crowd. It makes the product overall more exciting. It translates really well on TV too IMO.

I've been praising this for about 2-3 years now. A hot, excited, loud crowd makes things a whole hell of a lot more interesting. Just seeing huge ovations, tons of excitement, and interest from the crowd draws you in. Crowds can help make moments, and they are one of the biggest aspects of creating an atmosphere.

Plus, I'd be so pumped if Brock Lesnar was rumored to return at the show I am attending.

Also and completely off topic, if you're wondering what song is playing during the Wrestlemania 29 commercials, that is Angels and Airwaves. The song is called Surrender (off their newest album). They are my 2nd favorite band (the lead singer is also in blink-182 to give you guys some direction, which is my favorite band since I was 5).

The crowd tonight is amazing. I really wish crowds were like this for a lot more events. I almost felt bad for Sheamus because the crowd was just going ape shit for Daniel Bryan. The crowd though is just making Raw all that more enjoyable. Hot crowds always bring something special and this is one of the best crowds I have seen in recent memory.

They don't always have crowds this hot. As far as this crowd goes....

1. The majority of the people in the crowd are from the PPV which their excitement is obviously carrying over from last night.

2. By accident, due to the events of last night's WHC match.

And as I type this here comes Brock Lesnar. Oh snap.

Crowd was EXTREMELY hot tonight! Good to see. Rock got it big time from the crowd. Very nice.

I love that "Yes!" appears to be the new "What?" After Bryan got squashed, it's the least he could get, right?

Best moment of the night - When the crowd chanted "Si" for ADR instead of "Yes!" Priceless.

Oh, and how about Lesnar as the worst kept secret in the world? Nice pop for Brock. Should be interesting to see him back. Hopefully he'll actually sell his opponent's moves every now and then at least.

It's apparent DB is over unlike what people say on here. YES YES YES all night and chants of Daniel Bryant. I was shocked even when Punk hit moves they yelled YES! I figured they would during Cena and Sheamus. I bet WWE still doesn't realize they dropped the ball.

The crowd made Raw tonight awesome. They were loud and into every match from the onset. Best crowd since Punk beat Cena in Chicago. Totally enjoyed all of Raw

I came to this thread specifically looking for you. Tonight proved your point from the other thread exactly. I was loving Raw from beginning to end tonight. The crowd seemed way hotter than last night in part due to being closed in I might add. This was definitely the hottest Raw crowd I have seen in a long time, and I loved it.

The crowd is hot, but it is louder than last night due to Raw being indoors. The sound goes straight out of the stadium and doesn't circulate in an outdoor stadium.

Every match was like a MAIN EVENT!

They respond well to every wrestler!

Hilarious chants such as "Si!" for Del Rio.

They boo the immensely overrated Sheamus who is shoved down our throats.

WE WANT LESNAR WAS AWESOME!

And of course, Daniel Bryan gets the reception he deserves even after jobbing yesterday. (You screwed up WWE)
