Sons of Anarchy

Do we really know that it's a bad thing that they are notifying the IRA that SAMCRO is coming? I'm starting to think we're just speculating too much on that. Not to say that I think it's going to result into something positive, but I'm just saying.. maybe they won't ambush them as soon as they get off the plane. Either way, next week is going to be sweet.

First one to post? Interesting.. So, have to say, hands down, best episode of the season.. You know a show is good and it ends after 90 mins. and you're thinking "wait!? that's it?!"

So much action in this one from the club's arrival to Hector shooting up Feldstein's.

Gemma is such a badass, and I fear that she may be the one that gets killed off.. When she was talking about "when she's gone" to Bobby Elvis, thought it might have been a bit of foreshadowing of her death, not so much her going to prison. When she pounded on the gas to hit the police van.. priceless. The guy in the backseat: "..you heard the lady."

The story line is progressing nicely with Tigg and the other guy, can't remember his name.. Can't wait to see what comes out about from them.

That prospect that dropped the ball is going to get his ass kicked somewhere down the line. They're gonna run into him working at a grocery store or something and beat the shit out of him, I know it.

Interesting turn of events with Darby, has he turned over a new leaf?

Really hoping Jax doesn't end up hooking up with his sister.

And finally, the stuff with the IRA looks like it might be coming to a head by the end of the season. Me and my girlfriend got into a debate about whether or not Jax should trust the priest. I say yes.

I wasn't as impressed as Byrnside but still a good episode. They really opened up a lot of possibilites and created a lot of questions that now need to be answered. A great dialogue and story driven episode for sure, but I was hoping for a bit more action. This season has been lacking in the action department, but I am going to stay optimistic that it will pick up here in the second half.

A lot of my questions about the Priest were answered last night. That fucker is one slimy piece of shit. The fact that he told Jax that if he killed Jimmy he would get his son back and then show the clip of Abel being looked at by possible parents leads me to believe that the Priest is making a ton of this shit up just to help further his own personal causes. I don't think he has any intention of giving Abel back to Jax and I don't think what he said about Jimmy wanting to end his relationship with Samcro was true, unless I missed something which I may have.

I was really fearing Chibbs gettings killed off last night. Thankfully that was not the case at all. However, I do think someone will die in Ireland and my top two guesses are Gemma and Chibbs, it would just be a fitting place for Chibbs to die, not that I want that to happen. I was so happy when Darby turned Hale down, I really want to like Darby and this was a good first step. However, I fear that what happened with Feldstein will come back on Darby at first. And obviously the tension between the Mayans and Samcro is going to be reignited now. I want that piece of scum Hector killed off already. Tig and Kenny Johnson, I have yet to learn his name on the show and much prefer his real name, is finally being revealed. It is over a girl like I thought, now the only question is what it was about.

As for Tara, I really hope she doesn't get an abortion because that could be it for her character. I don't know if Jax or Gemma would ever forgive her for killing of their baby and grand baby. As for Opies girl, I find it interesting that she never said it was Opes. I actually believe she got impregnated by soemone else, probably during one of her porn shoots.

Like I said, good episode to further the story a long but I was hoping for a little more. Gemma running the car of the road was awesome and a classic SOA moment. I also really hope that the Jax/Irish girl story doesn't go where I think it is going because that would be weird. Though it could make for an interesting sub plot. Next week should be good.

I found this weeks episode very good, alot of things were answered, and possible twists for the season's end.

Last night's episode was really good. I was expecting more action too, since the episode lasted 90 minutes. I was surprised at how fast the episode flew by. I wish that the entire episode was focused on Ireland and less focused about the drama back home, but there has to be drama in both places for the show to be really compelling. There are still a few episodes left. So it should be more than enough time to see some bloodshed and vengeance in the next few weeks. This season started out kinda slow, but it has progressed pretty fast. This is definitely the most intriguing show on television this season.

Damn, way too busy at work today to actually make a good post, so I (unfortunately) will have to make this quick. I don't think Jax and his half sis are going to hook up. I think that storyline will be the catalyst for Jax finding out the truth about his father. I do think that the baby is Opie's. We'll see. The priest is the biggest piece of shit in the world right now. It was obvious when they showed the clip of the adopted parents picking up Able that he was playing Jax like a fiddle. I loved seeing Jax kick the shit out of the Irish dude. Pretty good 90 min episode. I hope to write more tomorrow.

Maybe its just me, but Kevin Sutter is really using this Season to push his Wife and its really bugging me. I REALLY am tired of all this crap with Gemma. It's just become a waste of time at this point and part of me does hope they kill her off. Not fast though, slowly, so she can reveal something about JT to Jax. Maybe the fact that Clay and the Original 9 killed him or something, reigniting their feud for the next season.

I don't think he has any intention of giving Abel back to Jax and I don't think what he said about Jimmy wanting to end his relationship with Samcro was true, unless I missed something which I may have.

I don't think he does. I think they're just trying to turn him on Jimmy. While he was truthful in saying Jimmy is all about the Profits, Samcro is a profitable organization and there is really no reason to hurt them or take the Baby from Samcro. He could have just easily stopped dealing with them, as simple as that. Epically when they've been working together for years.

She won't. She's really prego in real life I think and I think they're just trying to keep her relevant while Jax is away so when he comes back she can drop that bombshell on him, reigniting them in the process.

And I do believe its Opie's baby. They didn't give any indication it was someone else while merely saying he's still hurting/closed off since Donna and she doesn't want to ruin what they have. Its just not the right time. Again, they're using her as a segway to keep Tara relevant.

Gemma running the car of the road was awesome and a classic SOA moment. I also really hope that the Jax/Irish girl story doesn't go where I think it is going because that would be weird. Though it could make for an interesting sub plot. Next week should be good.

Maaaaybe it was just me. I think they were trying to push the whole "sex" angle pretty hard, but I kept getting a "big brother messing with little sister' vibe from it. He was being a little weird, but Jax has always been that way. She seems more interested in him as character wise then sexual wise.

Anyways, this season has been kind of a disappointment. Way to much Gemma and side-story BS then is necessary. I want to get back to Clay vs. Jax, all of this is just putting off what needs to be the inevitable.

Can't help but agree with you here on some points. On the one hand, I love Gemma. But I do feel like they're pushing her pretty hard, but I think there's a reason for it. Like you said, maybe they're killing her slowly. I don't want to lose her, because her character is awesome, but I do think they should focus less on her.

Going back to Jax and Trinity. I saw the big brother thing too. I was almost expecting a noogy at one point, but they're definitely doing a good job keeping us questioning the relationship, at least up to this point.

I also can't help but agree that there's probably too much side stuff going on. I find myself coming on here to discuss the episodes and then not remembering a lot of stuff that happens, because so much happens. I just hope they're not ruining the show, and that a lot of this is all leading somewhere. Them throwing the Mayan thing in when Hector was destroying the gym kind of threw me for a loop. I thought they were going to temporarilty write off the Mayans for a bit to focus more on the IRA. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Hmmm, interesting points, and I have to say, deserved critisims as well. They do seem to be jumping around a bit much and need more focus. I will disagree with those wanting Gemma gone though. She is the maternal figure for the MC and (unless Tara can pick up that slack) needs to stay that way. Those guys need someone like that to keep the clan together so to speak. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.

Great episode tonight. From top to bottom tonight's episode may have been my favorite of the entire season. Just an overall excellent episode, especially coming off of last weeks episode. We didn't get to see as much action as I think some of us, me, had hoped for, but this week gave me exactly what I wanted.

Seeing Jimmy surrounded in the kitchen by all those women was surreal and made me laugh. They have been building Jimmy up all season and he got taken over so easily. The women of Sons of Anarchy kick some major ass. Also, Chibbs girl is a fucking super hero or something. That girl had a very impressive kidney shot for Gemma.

The explosion Liam set up was sad. I had a feeling Chibbs son was gonna bite the dust but it didn't make it any less sad to see it actually happen. I did think it was awesome how everyone yelled at them not to start the truck up, in fear of it exploding and then it didn't, but as soon as it got outside it did. Very interesting to see Liam give up his own guys to help out Jimmy.

Back in the states not much has changed. Tig and Kenny Johnson are still playing the "who has a bigger cock" game and not giving in to each other. I did find Johnson's comments about one of them killing the other one and Piney saying he was hoping on it really funny. The two final pledges entertain me by their awkwardness. Tara and the Doc being hostage will be interesting, maybe that will be enough to get Johnson and Tig on the same page finally. Also, I am happy to see Darby get the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully nothing bad comes to him and he can continue on the right path.

Just wow at this episode, it was nothing short of very good, that explosion trap was well done and the fact Chibbs's son died that was sad, and the IRA trying to kill off the Sons is building up to a bloody end. Also i feel as if Chibbs could be the one to be killed off, just look at how messed up he becomes near the end of the episode. The whole thing with Jax and Trinity is so weird, its like they really are pushing for them to do it, but im assuming Maureen or Gemma will tell the truth.

Another thing its real confusing at times with the sub plots back on home ground but they all have their purposes for the advancing of the show.

Well, since I was up at 5:30 in the morning yesterday, I was struggling to keep my eyes open, but the intesity of last night made it a lot easier. I was not overly excited about the first 15 mins, but then the show SOARED from there. I'm to the point with Jimmy that I'd love to jump through the screen and beat the shit out of that guy. The exposion scene was packed with emotion and I couldn't help to feel terrible for one of my favorite characters in Chibbs. This may come as a surprise to some, (if only because a few of my co-workers found it corny) but I really liked the scene after the explosion when Jax was seeing JT in Clay. Gemma is a complete badass, even if she was bested in the end by a chick that may even be badder. I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW! Oh, why did the Tara's supervisor have a huge Tatoo on her back? Could it be that this whole time, she has seen her former self and former life in Tara, which is why she has been overly nice lately. Was the supervisor a former "old lady"? I found that incredibly intriguing to say the least.

Gotta say, to Indy, Byrnside, MLB and J-Dogg, it's great to have you guys to BS about this show with. Makes it more enjoyable for me.

The show is just so enjoyable and in a way, what the club goes through ispossibly a relaity for actual MC's in real life. But its just good tv.

Oh for sure. That is exactly what I gathered from that scene and I found it to be pretty cool. Now, I don't know if she was an old lady for the Sons but I do think she was an old lady somewhere and that is why she has suddenly found a soft spot for Tara. She treated her like shit at first, probably because she was in denial about her own past history, but now she sees the similarities between them and can't help but assist Tara through a very difficult time and situation, something she herself probably went through at one time.

I knew when I came on today you "nay sayers" of season 3 would come around. Last night was amazing. Still doing some jumping around, which is why I actually watched it twice last night.

So.. My question is still there, who is the bad guy, the priest? or Jimmy?.. I'm starting to think it may just be a lesser or two evils kind of thing. But we did get some insight into the priest because he "loved JT."

I'm not sure that anyone is going to get killed off at this point. Chibbs seems like the main choice, but last week Gemma did, and now she kind of doesn't. Gemma still seems like a good choice, but she's Sutter's girl, so I still don't really see it.

I was honestly worried about Salazar throwing the Mayan name out to throw the Sons off. But according to next week's preview it looks like it'll get squashed again, which I'll file under the "jumping around" category. But still, I'd rather see them squash it, if nothing else than to find some order in all this chaos.

I couldn't help but find a soft spot for Darby either last night, INDY. It might be kind of cool to see him turn informant for SAMCRO, although I very much doubt that.

Liam is a freaking douche, if nothing else I want to see Chibbs whack that guy. There's not a lot left to say in regards to the bombing. I thought it was done really well, and didn't see it coming until the kids locked the door, though, I assumed Liam was up to something. My question is, why did the cops let SAMCRO go before that? Didn't Jimmy pay them off or something? Or did I miss something?

Also, last night I could tell they're just teasing a Jax and Trin hookup. Jax putting his arm around her was more big brotherly than sexual. Jax has way more game than that to be the best friend.

One thing I did notice, that I actually, if I may, MTFO for, was when Unser seemed to realize the error of his ways in helping Hale. So, another thing I can't wait to see how it plays out.

Finally, the kidnapping.. Can't wait to see what happens. Personally, I love Tara, maybe because I think she's sexy, I don't know, call me crazy. While you guys have good points about the supervizor [can't remember her name] being an old lady, I just can't see it. My money's on her just being a wild girl in her youth and got a giant tattoo. I didn't get a good look at what the tat actually said, and that would've made my decision more clear.

Right there with ya Heartbreak, it's awesome to come on here every Wed. just to see your insights. I definitely use them when watching the show, me and my girlfriend usually get into pretty heated, friendly debates on what we think will or what we want to happen.

Well to be fair, I am not exactly a nay sayer on the season as a whole. I just feel like compared to the first two seasons it hasn't been up to par, I don't think that is all that crazy either. Not a big deal though. This season still has plenty of time to build itself up to the level of the first two season, especially if these last 4 or 5 episodes are as action driven as last night episode. It has been a great dialogue driven show and is incredibly unpredictable. That is why I love it so much. I may think one thing, Byrnside will think another and then we get to see how it plays out. Kurt Sutter is a genius when it comes to these kinds of shows.

I surely didn't mean to say that the supervisor was an old lady of SAMCRO, certainly not. Byrn, I didn't get a good lok at the "Tat" either, and I think they actually meant it to be that way. I totally forgot to mention Unser finding out about Hale. I was stoked to see that, as I (unlike IndyJon) can NOT stand Unser in his current form. I mean I guess it's kinda cool to see him grow some balls, but at this point, he made his bed with the MC, he should have to sleep in it.

I guess my only real complaint about this season is exactly what Byrnside is saying in that they "jump around" alot. I would think they could have done this season less one or two sub-plots. Still incredibly excellent though!

I don't have a problem with them jumping around, as long as the sub plots are going somewhere. In recent weeks, it's just taken me more than one run-through to get all of the events down. And I certainly do not have a problem watching an episode more than once.

Jon, I was just being playful when I said "nay sayers" it was really more from a lack of a better term. I can definitely understand where you were coming from, I just hadn't realized you were into the dialogue.

Not a big deal by any means, lol. I do like Unser Kid, but for various reasons. First and foremost he is from Deadwood, which is a show I absolutely love. Because of that I will forever love Unser, same goes for Jimmy and Maureen. I do also enjoy seeing Unser finally stand up for himself instead of acting like a door mat for the MC, however it does suck to see him so conflicted. I think his reasoning is being overlooked. He turned over for the right reasons, it just has turned out to be a bad move. He is trying to protect the citizens of the city, something the MC is obviously having a problem with right now. It makes sense, its just not a popular move because it pits him against SAMCRO. I also just find his story fascinating because he is conflicted. He has such a long history with the MC but he also needs to protect the towns people, something Hale was supposed to do before his untimely death. He has the right intentions it has just all gone to hell however.

And Byrn, it's all good man. You are one of my favorite posters because me and you were like the original two to really talk Sons of Anarchy on here, so regardless of if you were serious or just playing we would be cool. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I love reading your thoughts on Sons. Same goes for Kid and the others who post in here. This is easily one of my favorite threads on the forum, just for all the speculation from show to show.

Another great episode, probably the best of the season so far. The show has really picked up and I love it. I knew Jax and his sister were going to hook up, thank god it didn't go any further then them making up and some touching, but I knew it was going to happen. But now the truth about them being siblings is out there and we can move on from that. It was great to see Liam die, but it was sad to see Keith go. I like Keith and you could see how painful it was for Clay.

Back in the states it seems like Tig and Kozik are beginning to agree on things. It is cool to see Alvarez help the Sons out, however it is evident that shit will go down between the Sons and Mayan again. However, I am glad they put their issues aside to kill that dick Salazar. My jaw literally dropped when he kicked Tara in the stomach. I really want him to die.

The showdown between Jax and The Priest was cool. I did not expect The Priest to have Hulk strength. Tonight showed how much of a piece of trash The Priest is, even if he does seem to have the right intentions. I can't believe Jax is even considering letting Abel stay in Ireland. I get the rationale, but come on, it is his kid. It will also be interesting to see how Clay deals with killing Keith from this point on. Great episode tonight and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Holy shite! I have found my home and it's within this thread right here. :worship:

Damn where to begin tonight....How about that Hamlet-style incestual fling with Jax and his irish sister? Man that messed me up. So glad they closed the coffin to that sub-story. Definitely kept me in suspense for a few weeks. Steadily thinking "Is he gonna? Is he gonna? ....oh crap he did. Almost."

Another things that's been on my mind with this show is the constant tension with SAMCRO and Alvirez (Not sure how that should be spelt). It was in full swing tonight, wasn't it? Now looks like the Sons are in debt with the Mayans. Would have never seen that coming from last season.

And I love the special theme they play while occupying Ireland. More thoughts on that later. Don't mean to ramble just excited bout tonight. Was pretty freakin epic with the "Mafia Kiss" Clay gave his counterpart ending another sub-story for now.

They are really tying things up.

Maybe its just me but I think the Priest is in the right. Short of them hiding his real intentions, JT always gave the impression that he hated what the Patch had become. I don't know if his manifesto came out before or after his Ireland trip, I hope afterward. Why? Because I'd much rather think JT decided he wanted to change (and have his family change) the course of the patch instead of completely eliminating it. The Sons can do and do do a lot of good for Charming and their respective areas.

I also think the Incest thing was stupid, though I get why they did it now. Still, I was hoping some bigger secret about JT would come out then what has come out. Its been kinda...lame, to say the least.

And the stuff back home at least has become interesting, albeit still pointless. Ah well, at least they've finally begun to pick up their game and make the show interesting overall again.

All i have to say what a brilliant episode, it had action but the episode as a whole was brilliant, the fact that Jax is considering letting Abel stay in Ireland is crazy, the whole hooking up with his sis was awkward but kinda humourous to watch. The sub plots with Kozik, Tig and Piney is very good, albiet being kinda not all that necessary are still interesting.

But this seasons has been really good, and the fact were 3 episodes away from the finale is making the show greater.

Ok, before I lose my train of thought on this subject, let me say for the record...the storyline back home is only in existence to set up next season. That is my opinion anyway.

So to SAMCRO (the poster) I've always wondered why you never ventured in here? Guess you've just now found the place. Anyway, the new Irish theme at the begining is the shit bro!

The Jax and Trinity, bro/sis hook up thing happened, and I was hoping that when Jax backed away from the first kiss, that that was as far as it was gonna go....such is life. I was still sort of hoping that we would get Jax finding out even more about his father, and we may yet. You could actually feel the pain in Clay during and after the scene where he had to push him off of the roof. I really (possibly for the first time ever) felt bad for him. Indy, I have to disagree about the Preist. I always knew the man had to have it in him. I honestly don't think he would have made it as far in the IRA if he couldn't throw down. I'm not sure if they've ever laid out his back story, but I'm inclined to think that he turned to the priesthood later in life AFTER he'd "made his bones" so to speak.

The action this week was tremendous. I had to squirm a lil when they hung and tortured Liam, though I enjoyed EVERY second of it. Always hated that dirty rat scumbag fucker!

As far as Jax leaving Abel in Ireland...pssshhhh. Fuck that! No way EVER would a father consider leaving his son like that. I hope they don't go too far with this. Can't fucking wait for the rest of the episodes, and am thoroughly disappointed that it's coming to an end!

Well I knew he wasn't a great guy form the beginning. He was connected to the IRA and the IRA is vicious, both on this show and in the real world. I just had faith that he was actually going to do good, but alas he does in fact have his own agenda. I like Jimmy so it will be sad to see him die, which I think he will before the end of the season, however I want to see The Priest die more. I legit laughed when he threw Jax with ease. That was pretty funny, but I am so hopeful that I will get to see Jax put a bullet between his eyes.
