WrestleZone Forums once again holds it's weekly live discussion for Monday Night Raw, where tonight, championship chases will ultimately be the foundation of the show. A trio of challengers in the forms of Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn are looking to swoop in on The Miz's Intercontinental Championship. It's expected that these four men will cross paths again and that animosity will continue to grow between them. Natalya's pursuit of the Women's Championship is promising enough to get some spotlight, with the story being that Natalya has been getting inches from grabbing the gold only to have Ric Flair interfere on his daughter's behalf, and most recently, having Charles Robinson pull a screwjob. Despite Stephanie banning Flair from ringside for their next match, there's no doubt he will be around to cause trouble before that. And that brings us to the main feud. The audience is expecting more progress toward a major character change from either champion or challenger in the Roman Reigns/AJ Styles feud. Last Monday, Styles' allies in Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson ganged up on Reigns and urged AJ to smash him with a chair. AJ hesitated. He seems uncomfortable with Gallows and Anderson's tactics but it's possible that creative could have him be shifting his stance. That's certainly a hint of a possible heel turn for him, despite so many expecting Reigns to be the one who embraces darkness. Tonight's show will feature the same major stars as last week, but some "role players" for lack of a better word won't be around, as a number of guys in the locker room received their walking papers, and a powerhouse is involved in a fight outside the ring. Some potential returns may offset those losses, though. Tonight is also guaranteed to offer more foreshadowing and have the Extreme Rules card be made clearer by the end of the night.
Here's to what hopefully is a good show.
