They're notorious for some misleading campaigns. It would be stuff like send in box tops from this brand of yogurt and we'll donate money to cancer research. They would, but it would be like a penny a top. The same would be true with some credit card campaign they did, where no matter how much you spent, a penny was donated. Also their CEO or President receives an INSANE salary. I believe it was said to be 10 times that of the Red Cross CEO/President even though Komen is 1/10 the size of the Red Cross.

Because they make a big deal about cancer research but very little of the money they raise actually goes to research.

Most of it goes to promoting the company and to the higher ranking officials of the company.
