[Official] WrestleMania XXV Discussion

yeah the whole legends storyline had me going. then we get the raw creative idiots again. they really dropped the ball. i am not so sure Vince had anything to do with this. although it has not been confirmed. that keeps me praying. maybe the legends will say no they have a replacement and will be at ringside for Austin. i mean really how can you induct someone as big as this man was to wwe and not have him on the 25th WM card. i think Hogan was the one to take this but with that back injury it cost them there plans. maybe Vince is trying everything he can to beg Austin into the ring to save this match. because Y2J does not deserve this. like i said this match has yet to be confirmed. if it is i may pass on buying this years WM. I have bought everyone since 1997. this year is not looking to great for such a great run for Vince and his creation.

My opinion, the WWE has "shocked" themselves into a corner. By trying to make it must see TV and Anything could Happen in the WWE, they've painted themselves into a corner. Instead of getting the matches of Edge vs. Triple H and Cena vs. Orton, the WWE decided to say, um hey, let's switch it up now just to keep everyone on edge and put one over on the fans.

It's stupid, and its terribly obvious with the way the storylines have developed over the last few weeks. The WWE simply didn't have these storylines planned, so we got about four weeks of filler bullshit before we're finally getting into something with substance.

So both World title matches pretty much are built around a woman, um yeah. You know, this is Wrestlemania, and this is the showcase that you display the most important titles, and you build feuds around those belts. Instead, we have a love triangle involving the Big Show/Edge and Vickie, with John Cena blackmailing himself into it, and getting a shitty triple threat match, my most hate matched type ever. It's lazy booking at best, oh we didn' thave anything for Show, so lets just throw them in a triple threat, woo hoo.

Then you get to Orton and Triple H. A feud that started off with tons of momentum, and then hit a wall several weeks ago. They had a terrible over drawn, over acted promo a few weeks ago which essentially resulted in two guys trying to act like bad asses look like clowns that breathe heavily and want to put their foreheads on each other. Then you have a terrible home invasion that only set the company and image of wrestling back yet another twenty years, and this last monday, we get more forehead hugging, this time threw a cage. It's terrible.

Oh, and then we get to the biggest sham of the night, Chris Jericho vs Potentially 3 guys in there 60's. What in the flying fuck is that bullshit. The entire time, supposedly McMahon said he had it figured out. With the build up over the last five weeks and no opponent eing announced, our expectations kept getting hihger and higher, which naturally they should have. So Instead of Hogan or Austin, we get stuck with three old guys that Jericho has man handled and all are essentially immobile in the ring at this point. Thus far, Wrestlemania 25 is turning into a disaster.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Triple H vs Randy Orton for the WWE title
I really dont know how the match is going to go yet. But my gut feeling is that Orton is going to win the title to close the show. I know he isnt going to win it clean, so I'm expecting a Vince McMahon screw job. I think it'd be pretty good hearing Vince do promo's on Triple H saying that he never liked Triple H and Triple H doesnt deserve to be where he's at in the company. This would also lead to the Vince vs Trips match that they've been teasing for a long time now.

Edge vs John Cena vs Bigshow
This probably isnt going to be very good. I honestly would have rather just seen a straight up Bigshow vs Edge match. I'm expecting Bigshow to win the title. Just because he's storyline together with Vickie. If Show does win hopefully he doesnt have a very long run with the title.

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker
This is going to be a great match. Taker and Michaels always put on great matches, so they should be able to put on a great match together. I predict Taker will win this one, but they'll keep feuding untill around Summerslam where they have a big payoff match.

Chris Jericho vs???
I still dont think there's going to be a handicap match. I predict that this Monday the legends decline Jericho's offer and they introduce Jerry Lawler as his mania opponent. That'd be my ideal scenerio but it would probably be entertaining. If that match happens I predict Jericho will dominate then Randy the Ram will interfere and cost Y2J the match.

John Morrison & Miz vs The Colon's to unify the tag team titles
This will probably be a pretty good match. I'm very excited to see the tag titles unified again, now WWE can have a legit tag team division. I predict Miz and Morrison win the titles here. WWE seems to be very high on them and they've carried the tag team division on their backs the last two years. So they deserve to be the undisputed tag team champions.

25 diva battle royal
I cant wait to see Maryse, Kelly, Melina, and Torrie's asses in the same ring together. This is going jiggly fest 09. I dont know who's gonna win it nor do I care who's gonna win it. But if I had to guess I'd say that Melina or Maryse will pull off the win. But again, I'm just watching for the asses.

JBL vs Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental title
Meh, it'll be slow and boring. Hopefully Rey wins the title. Lately I've grown to really like Rey. I think he could be a great champion. But JBL may win, and I'd be fine with that. I'm actually a fan of JBL's work. If the WWE gives him a long title run he could do a lot of good things for the strap.

ECW title match
I really dont even think they're gonna have one on the card. But if they do I suspect Swagger will lose the title to either Vladamir Kozlov, Great Khali, or Evan Bourne. I think Swagger is going to go to Raw in the draft so he'll have to lose the title soon. Hopefully he faces Evan Bourne at wrestlemania and puts on a great match.

Money in the bank ladder match
Kane - He's not going to win. He was just thrown in because they didnt have nothing better for him to do.

Kofi Kingston - Kofi has a lot of potential. I think he's going to do really good in the match and open a lot of eyes to his talent. He wont win the match be he'll have a damn good showing.

Mark Henry - WTF? Evan Bourne should have got this spot. I like Henry but he isnt gonna do shit in a ladder match.

MVP - I'd really like to see MVP win the match. He's proven to be a great talent and he has a good fan base. I think he's ready to make the jump to the mainevent level.

Finlay - He should be facing Jack Swagger in a Belfast Brawl. There's no way he's winning, so thing's just woulda been better that way. Vladamir Kozlov could easily fill his shoes in this match.

CM Punk - He shoulda been defending the I-C title, but oh well. He'll have a good showing and almost win the match. But he'll be screwed right before he grabs the case.

Christian - I'm hoping he wins the match but I doubt that he will. WWE seems to be punishing him for leaving the company in 2005. So I suspect he'll do like Jericho did last year. He'll be the biggest name in the match but he wont win it.

Shelton Benjamin - He's actually my pick to win it. He's been consistantly good and lately he's really improved a lot. I think he's worthy of carrying a world title for a while.

Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy
This should be a solid opening match. I expect Matt to screw Jeff outta the win. But their feud will continue.

Thank God everyone is seeing what a disaster this PPV is! How they sold Relient Stadium that holds 70,000 people with this economy and this bad of a lineup is beyond me.

The storylines suck, the matches will suck.

Only grace is HBK/Taker. I LOVE the story line and the match will be amazing. I'm telling you Angle Taker NWO 06 may be topped here.

Hardy vs Hardy I dare say will even suck since it's not a speciality match. They dont work well together.

HHH/Orton will be a bore fest like all there matches are together. There not bad, just meh. Mediocore at best. Remember Kozlav HHH at SS with the boring chants? Yah multiply that by 4. Their storyline is SO lame esp with the house trip.

Triple threat OMFG are you kidding me about this match and storyline. You can tell these storylines were last minute esp this one!

MITB will be good I guess. MVP, Benjamin and Christian are the only ones who have a chance in winning.

Jericho vs 3 legends that dont even get reactions. SERIOUSLY!?!?! The best thing that has happened to WWE and he gets this?!?! You know dont put the title on Orton or Edge and have Jericho face them. HHH deserves the ME and to face Orton for the what 11th time or so? GIVE ME A BREAK! HHH get over yourself and Vince stop praising HHH as the best thing since sliced bread.

25 diva royle. No ones coming back, but maybe Trish. We just saw her 2 months ago. It'll be great to see her again, but meh. I'll put money they cant get 25 divas.

Tag Team match. Morrison and Miz are just awesome! However we have seen this match so much, but it's to make 1 title. I'd put this on a lower PPV but the match as all their matches should be good.

Intercontinental. No story line here. Oh no! Michael FREAKIN COLE tells us about this! Seriously?!?! JBL Mysterio could be a good feud, but match we have seen countless times in 06.

Vince I'll stop you from being mad backstage. Fire whoever came up with this for WM25! RETIRE if you approved of all this! This is WM25 not Judgement Day!!

You want Raw's ratings to increase Vince? You have Jericho, Edge, Miz/Mo, and Snatino talk for the whole show and the ratings would jump. Mark my words they would. All heels, but all are GOLD!

I hope what I read earlier as JBL shocking everyone by buying TNA is true. WWE seriously needs that. Not their crappy storylines but wrestlers. Obviously this is 99.9% not going to happen but I can dream and hope.

Ok, unlike everybody else on this forum it seems, I'm looking forward to this year's WrestleMania very much. Maybe it's because I'm actually going to be there. I don't know. But I'm still expecting a great show. Although most people don't feel the build up for the show has been up to par, I think it's just fine.

Triple H vs. John Cena
Some people don't want this match because it's already been done before and it won't be so great. Whatever. I don't care if it's already been done, if they give me a great match, I'll be satisfied, regardless of whether or not it's already happened. I think the buid up for this match has been good and has made me ready for this match. It's exciting. I wouldn't be suprised if the actually do give a good match. I hope Orton wins and if he doesn't, I'll be extremely dissapointed.

John Cena vs. Edge vs. Big Show
The problem with this match is that I think the WWE tried to hard to make an exciting match. They decided to put Big Show in and thought it would make for more anticipation, however, it did the total opposite. The Big Show has never made a match exciting in his life. Putting a 500 pound freak who can't wrestle doesn't make me want to watch it. It make s me want to puke. The only thing that could be worse is if John Cena wins again. Doubt it, but I hope Edge wins.

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker
I read a post on here somewhere that said the build up and anticipation for this match has been too much, and they won't possibly be able to live up to it. Well, I somewhat agree, but I doubt it. Especially if Shawn wins. If Undertaker's streak is ended, everybody would be shocked. Not only would that help the match to be exciting, but these guys can wrestle. They were two of the very best wrestlers in the business and still are today. Honestly, I don't know who'll win, but I hope Shawn does.

Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
This match hasn't gotten the credit it deserves yet. If for some reason the 'Taker/Shawn match isn't the best match on the card, this match most likely will be. These two guys have extraordinary talents and are very exciting in the ring. The storyline build up has been great from the start, and I'm very excited to see it. Honestly, I don't know who's going to win but if I had to pick, I would take Jeff.

Miz & Morrison vs The Colons
I'm more excited for this match than most people are. Most people just sort of dismiss this match as a filler, but actually it's been buit up pretty good and I'm already wanting to see this match happen. These guys know how to wrestle. They may not put on a match of the year match, but it will be good. I see Miz & Morrison minning here.

Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper & Jimmy Snuka
This match has gone extremely down hill since the beginning a few weeks back. I was hoping for Hogan or maybe Austin to show up, but they didn't, and instead they got a bunch of old, not entertaining, farts. It's stupid and I know I don't want to see it. And if you don't know who's going to win this, you have no business watching wrestling at all.

Money In The Bank
This match used to be this shit. This was what I always wanted to see, but this year? I don't even know who's all in it. It's been built up poorly and hasn't been made to be the match everybody wants to see.

Overall, I think it'll be a better WrestleMania than most think. It may not be the greatest WrestleMania ever, but it will be good.

Firstly, I'm going to start attempting to look at the positives in wrestling today. A lot of people have said that us fans should stop complaining and start enjoying the show. Therefore that's what I'm going to do when giving my opinion on this year's Wrestlemania offering.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH HHH V. ORTON

First things first. This match has been done many times before. I've also seen it done many times at house shows before but that's okay becuase the WWE have really went out of their way to make this feud more personal than it has ever been. Therefore, I am excited about this and hopefully since this is 'Mania both men will up their game and put on a hell of a performance. Plus, there is the possibility of interference from Legacy and possibly even a Mcmahon so that should spice things up a bit. In addition I'm hearing it will be No DQ...again something a little different.

WORLD TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

I've never really been a fan of triple threat matches for a major title but it can be done well. I think Cena v Edge would have been more effective even though that has been done a thousand times but obviously that went up in smoke weeks ago with the inclusion of Big Show. WWE have been adding interesting twists to this story which has sparked some interest in the bout. Let's hope they can pull off something good.

Hardy v Hardy

Seen this before at Vengence many years ago and at that point they were forced to face each other and the rivalry wasn't that personal. Obviously this time around Matt is guilty of many henious acts against Jeff which intensifies this all the more. I'm expecting a good outing from these two but perhaps a ladder match would have been good, although with the MITB already on the card it's probably better that there is no gimmick attached to this bout.

Undertaker v HBK

Simply put this match should be something else. I'm expecting big things. I just hope JBL doesn't decide to make history during this match if you get my drift...

Jericho v Legends

I know I said I would be positive but I can't be about this one. Not expecting much here. This is simply to have Mickey Rourke involvement. The legends they have selected, while once great simply cannot move now. That says it all I think.

MITB

A lot of people seem to predict doom and gloom here but I'm looking forward to the outcome and I personally want it to be Kane but that's just me. Anyhow the match should have some nice spots and should be entertaining. Though I really couldn't predict who will ultimately walk away the winner.

25 Diva Battleroyal

Looking forward to seeing some old faces again..other than that and seeing the divas there's not much else that excites me here.

JBL V REY???

Will be good to see the IC title at 'Mania again but this match has been done a lot aswell. Won't be a great match but not the worst either. Lord knows what JBL's history making event will be....

Miz and Morison v Colons

I think the WWE got it right by deciding to make this a unification match for the tag gold, this will hopefully freshen up the division again. It is in dire need of some tlc on the WWE's part and hopefully this will be the start of it. As for the match, we've seen that on SD recently but nonetheless it should be entertaining.

Overall, I'm looking forward to the event. Yes there is repeatition but ultimately I think WWE will be able to pull off another great 'Mania. I'm also going to predict a few suprises here also.

Guys I have been discussing this to high hell with my brother and friends.

What do you think will happen at WrestleMania XX5

Here's my take on things:

MITB -I reckon this one will definitely have to be won by Christian for one reason if you haven't read the Smackdown Spoilers for two weeks, MVP is the new U.S Champion. So I see that as him out of the running. I don't think they'll give it to CM Punk. I think he'll chase JBL for the IC Title again after Mania. Maybe them taking the U.S Title off of Shelton is to give him the opportunity to win MITB but I don't see it happening. We could be surprised and Kane wins it who knows it could happen. I doubt it but it could.

20 Diva Battle Royal - Watch this space. I presume Trish will return and win it.

Miz and Morrison Vs The Colon Brothers - Tag Team Unification match - Oh, baby this will be good. Vince totally destroyed the tag division and now he realises that he doesn't have enough teams for two Titles. I'm not a fan of Miz and Morrison. I never will be. I have been impressed with the matches that these two teams and as singles are having and obviously Vince has noticed as well because they made the WrestleMania card. I expect Miz and Morrison to go over. Should be a surprise good maybe even show stealing match.

I just thought I'd do the segment bit here. Vladimir Kozlov hasn't a match at Mania, neither has jack Swaggggggggerrrrr (assuming Swaggggggggggggerrrrrrrr Vs Dreamer isn't added to the card). So, I believe like hassan did one of them will come down and whine about it. I expect either Rock or Austin out here for one reason. Rock will be excused by "Hollywood" because Rourke's there, trust me. If he doesn't appear I expect a Stunner. I know Hogan had back surgery but that doesn't stop him coming down and taking care of one of them because he is off his crutches now so expect a segment like this to occur.

JBL Vs Rey - IC Title Match - Let's be honest here this match has just come about because of two reasons. CM Punk is in MITB and they want the IC Title defended for the first time since WM 18 and creative have nothing for Rey on Raw. Rey's Raw move has been lackluster but bad for him. I expect JBL to retain and Rey move back to Smackdown in the draft.

Matt Hardy Vs Jeff Hardy - Don''t expect Jeff to get his "revenge" in this match. I expect Matt to go over at Jeff expense but I expect Jeff will do some crazy bump and cost himself the match.

Steamboat/Piper/Snuka vs Y2J - Flair and Rourke at ringside - man, this sucks. I truly believed that we would be shocked by Rock or Austin returning for one last match. I don't care if Austin "Can't wrestle" and Rock's gone "Hollywood" people can change their minds in an instant. I was really annoyed because I love Piper he is one of my heroes but for gawd's sake Vince he has just recovered from cancer and Snuka can't move around the ring as much anymore. Steamboat still looks in good shape thou and if it was steamboat vs Y2J one on one it would be more believable. This will no doubt be our "Celebrity Angle" on the night. Rourke will cause Y2J the match and the legends win. Expect more legends to be at Mania at ringside with Flair. I just feel this is a waste of Jericho's talent when he could have had a 5 star match with someone at Mania.

HBK/Taker - I expect this to be the highlight of the night and to tell you the truth. If anyone's going to beat Taker's streak it will be HBK. I don't expect HBK to win but if he did I wouldn't be shocked. This match will be a tip of your seat match believe me. I remember watching Orton Vs Taker at WM 21 and I truly thought Orton being the "Legend Killer" would be the one to end the streak but now after all HBK has done at Mania. The ladder match, Winning the WWF Title in the greatest Mania match, ending Flair's career and having the PWI match of the year at the last 5 Mania's this could very well be the year people.

Cena/Edge/Show - World Title - We all know cena will win the title. I know this sounds absolutely stupid but I believe cena will win and I believe it will be due to Vickie's help I have conjured up every single situation but I think this is a double swerve with the whole Show/Edge we love Vickie thing and Cena will shock everyone turning heel in the process. Cena has wrestled ever heel in the business he needs fresh opponents. We can't keep having cena Vs Edge time and time again and I think if Cena turns Heel he will go to Smackdown with the belt and Edge will come back to Raw in the draft. This match is being promoted so much and that's why I have the belief something massive has to happen in it.

Orton/Triple H - WWE Title - Now is there anyone out there who dosen't believe a McMahon will screw Trips? This could be a lame thing like trips wins cleanly or with the help of every McMahon by Linda "I Can't take a Stunner" McMahon and The McMahons stand tall at their own creation but I think that will be disappointing and useless. So, I think either Shane or Steph will screw trips because Vince is too old to be in that role now. This is going to be very interesting.

As I see it, on the card now there are three great matches, a number of good matches, two decent matches, and the 25 Diva Battle Royale.

The great matches:
Taker v. HBK. I'm looking forward to it, because it really could go either way.
MITB: I really like the look of it this year. It's really a toss-up on who will win. Plus, Kofi Kingston, Christian, MVP, Punk....It'll be awesome.
MTM v. Colons: This match will be STELLAR, no doubt about it.

Good matches:
Hardy v. Hardy: I really doubt this'll suck. They've both improved as singles competitors and I like the feud. Should be fun, if nothing else.
World Title Match: I'm looking forward to the twists and turns.
WWE Championship Match: The feud's been great, and their match should be good like always.

Decent Matches:
Jericho v. Legends: While I was disappointed in how this storyline turned out, it's not going to be awful.
JBL v. Rey? - Not bad, really. I'm not looking forward to it, but I won't hate it.

25 Diva Battle Royale - I want sum Trish Stratus. It's a battle royale, so it'll be OK, I guess.

So far, the card doesn't look half bad. I just wish it was Jericho v. Austin or Hart or Rourke.

Might as well have a go at it :)

Triple H Vs Randy Orton (WHC)

I wish Orton would win this but I don't see it happening. They're most certainly gonna have the egomaniac son-in-law win after beating Orton and Priceless, who will certainly interfere. This will probably lead to more "King Of Kings/I'm the best" crap and we'll have to endure more of Triple H as champion, except that he'll be hogging Raw instead of Smackdown. Yuck!

Wrestler I'd like to see win: Randy Orton
Wrestler I think will win: Triple H

Edge Vs Big Show Vs Cena (WWE title)

The whole pretext for the match is lame but it could be interesting. For some reason, I'd like to see Big Show win, it would be unexpected.

Wrestler I'd like to see win: Big Show
Wrestler I think will win: John Cena

Jeff Hardy Vs Matt Hardy (Brother Vs Brother match)

An extremely bland feud, made solely to make Matt exist and keep Jeff out of the title picture (why, btw?). Can't say I really care. Jeff winning wouldn't bring anything, Matt winning would reinforce him but he'd still be a lot less considerable than Jeff. Still prefer Jeff by far.

Wrestler I'd like to see win: Jeff Hardy
Wrestler I think will win: Matt Hardy

Shawn Michaels Vs The Undertaker
(Streaks match)

A lot of people are looking forward to this, I'm not one of them. I think both wrestlers are well past their prime and I really can't see what ending Taker's streak would bring to the table. I still prefer Taker but that doesn't say much.

Wrestler I'd like to see win: The Undertaker
Wrestler I think will win: The Undertaker

The Miz & John Morrison Vs The Colons (Unified Tag Team titles)

Interesting, although we've seen it quite a few times now. I like Miz & Morrisson, can't stand the Colons but they're good in the ring so it should be good.

Wrestlers I'd like to see win: The Miz & John Morrison
Wrestlers I think will win: The Miz & John Morrison

MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. C.M. Punk vs. Finlay vs. Christian vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston (MITB match)

One word: egad. Seriously, could they make that even more boring?

Wrestler I'd like to see win: none, except perhaps Shelton
Wrestler I think will win: MVP

Chris Jericho vs. Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat & Jimmy Snuka (Jericho Vs legends match)

An absolute joke and an insult to Jericho's talent. I mean seriously...

Wrestler I'd like to see win: Chris Jericho
Wrestler I think will win: no idea.

25-Diva Battle Royal Match

Haha, this is gonna suck big time. If there's one match no one gives a rat's ass about, that is it.

Wrestler I'd like to see win: none
Wrestler I think will win: no idea and I don't care

JBL vs. Rey Mysterio (IC title match)

Everyone hates JBL and everyone loves Mysterio so the math is not hard to do. I'd love to see JBL win, just to annoy the 619 fans.

Wrestler I'd like to see win: JBL
Wrestler I think will win: Rey Mysterio

Wow, this is going to be a great show. I will be there and cannot wait.

I'll give my two cents on how each match looks so far, just as the rest of you guys did.

Triple H VS Orton
This should be a good match and will probably end up closing the show. I've really enjoyed the feud so far, especially the home invasion angle (they should do more stuff like that in the future!) because it reminded me of the austin/pillman thing from many years back. I want Orton to win this but unfortunately HHH probably will.

Edge VS Big Show VS Cena
I cannot STAND triple threat matches. They just seem so anticlimactic. Maybe if it was a fatal fourway it'd seem better.... but oh well. Cena/Edge was one of my favorite feuds and to see it again with the Big Show as an added factor, it should make for a great match. I hope Cena wins this.

Matt VS Jeff
This will probably be another ok match, but like others said before me it should be a gimmick match. I still expect it to be good regardless though since it is the Hardys! Matt needs to get the win here since Jeff is already over (I actually prefer Jeff, but Matt would benefit more from winning this.)

HBK VS Taker
At first I was upset that it would be michaels instead of kozlov. Kozlov could have benefitted from ending the streak, while HBK does not need that kind of bragging rights since he is already one of the best ever. Then I realized that even though Taker's streak will probably not end here, it is still going to be two of the best in the history of the business going at it at. Very, very, high expectations for this match. It will be the best of the night for sure unless the rumors about Gay-B-L's "history making" are true. I hope not. Taker will go 17 and 0 but Michaels will give a good fight.

Miz & Morrison VS Colons
Not a big fan of the colons but a HUGE fan of Morrison (and Miz when he tags with Morrison). The best tag team in ages definately should get the win here. Should be good as far as tag team matches go, even if the stupid colons win. Was that a heel turn I saw by one of the bella twins the other night? This feud might not end here. Looking forward to this match.

Money in the Bank
Not sure if this will be able to follow the last two money in the bank matches, both of which were quite good. I doubt that MVP or Shelton will win. Finlay better not because he is boring and old, his matches put me to sleep even when Hornswoggle interferes. Punk has already won this. Kane and Henry probably had nothing better to do (they could have faced jericho, but I'll get to that in a moment.).... Christian is going to win this, I am almost fully convinced. Maybe he will cash in on Edge to begin a feud, I wouldn't mind seeing that!

Chris Jericho VS 3 Dinosaurs
Ok don't get me wrong. Piper, Steamboat, and Snuka were awesome back in the day. There is NO denying that.... but NOW? They are ancient history and can barely move in the ring. Jericho NEEDS to go over here. He deserves better, like many others have pointed out. I am keeping my fingers crossed for Stone Cold to make a cameo appearance or something for this match. Maybe hit Y2J with the stunner and have Snuka get the pin right afterwards, or something like that at the very least. I'm not expecting much for this match unless they have a surprise planned that no one knows about yet. Keep your fingers crossed.

25 Diva Match
Ok seriously, why is everyone complaining about this match and how it will be pointless filler? I am SO looking forward to it! What better way to get all the divas onto the card while making two or three of them look strong in the end? Come on people. This is FAR better than a divas brand supremacy match between Melina and Maryse could EVER have been (although I enjoy Maryse's matches). I hope the final 4 are Trish, Michelle, Natalya, and Beth with Beth winning in the end then challenging BOTH diva champions for their titles and winning both of them. Hey, it could happen. Anyways, this match should be ok and be much better than all of you are making it seem.

JBL VS Mysterio
And finally, this. It will likely be the match you'll need a pillow for. I never liked Rey (Cruiserweights should not be allowed to be HEAVYWEIGHT champions, period.) and never liked Gay-B-L either. I cannot believe I am saying this, but the winner of this match if it's for the IC title needs to be John Bradshaw Gayfield. Why? The belt needs a long reign by someone everyone hates, then finally after many months a way over face (Bourne maybe?) could get the win and become HUGELY over in the process. Anyways, this is the only match I am not looking forward to.

So yeah, that's how I view the card at the moment. Stop complaining about how you think it won't live up to the hype. Instead, sit back and enjoy what will likely end up being a show you will remember for the rest of your life.

This going to be a fucking stinker lets be realistic; I was excited about Orton vs Triple H until its painfully obvious Hunter isn't going to put Orton over and if Orton does win it will be after he's had the shit beat out him and bloodied then Hunters gets hit by a chair so Orton wins. I'm going against the grain but I would rather WHC match be Edge vs Big Show the stroyline would be better; honestly Cenas in this match because Hogan had back surgery. I like Cena but he doesn't need to be in this match. HBK/Taker is the best match on the card. I won't go into the Jericho thing; MITB would be good if MVP wins but after this card is low budget version of the Great American Bash. I hope I wrong though.

A couple weeks ago, i wrote that i wasn'T sold on wrestlemania and was thinking about not buying it this year. Now a couple weeks has pass and nothing really did change. There is a couple of match that interest me in seeing like HBK vs Undertaker and the unification match for the tag title but i still don'T think it'S enough for me to pay that much money to see it. Let'S face it, if you watch at home, you have to pay 55$ for the normal broadcast and around 70$ for the HD version and if i go to the theatre, i have to pay 31,50$. That a lot of money for a show that look like i could be just another version of backlash.

I know that thing haven't work as plan for the WWE as far as wrestlemania is concern and the card that we are getting right now isn'T the one that was plan six months ago but come on, couldn'T they come up with a better solution then that. RAndy Orton is in the main event and the only reason he's in that position is because BAtista got injured. If Batista wasn'T injured, Orton would probably be on the undercard with Jericho faing the McMahon instead of been with HHH so Orton can thank Batista for being in the main event. HAs for the other title match, it's obvious that Cena is taking HHH's place in that match since they've been hinting a feud between Big Show and Edge for a couple of months now so no matter what you said, Big Show was supposed to be in that position, Cena got put in their because is original plan with Batista didn'T work out and they didn't know where to put him.

Has for the rest of the card, i got to say that at less they are trying to put as many wrestlers on the card as possible and this could be a decent show but i fear that this wrestlemania will go down in history as one of the less profitable wrestlemania of all time and probably will join wrestlemania 2000 as one of the worst.

This years Mania will be an interesting one to say the least. It will be worse than last year, imo. I will rank the matches from worst to best.

9th:
25-Diva battle royal
Who really cares. There isn't even anyone of the TWO titles on the line. The only reason to watch is to see Gail Kim and Trish. Does it matter who wins.

WINNER: Who Cares

8th
Handicap Match

Chris Jericho vs Legends
Not interested in the match that match. They should have gotten a bigger legend and made it a one-on-one match, but they couldn't get one sadly. It won't be pretty though, it will be interesting though.

WINNER: Chris Jericho

7th
Intercontinental Championship- Single Match

John "Bradshaw" Layfield (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
Terrible match. They just wanted to put both of them on the card. I hope that JBL doesn't drop it to Rey so fast. If they really want to bring honor to the belt, they will have JBL win.

WINNER: JBL

6TH
Extreme Rules Match

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy
Brother vs. Brother. Ex World Champ vs "Ex World Champ". This will be interesting match on the card. I will enjoy it, the reason I put it sixth is because the other matches are way more interesting to me. If this is done right Matt will be in the Main Event by nights end, if not than Jeff will be the only Hardy to ever win a real World Title.

WINNER: Jeff Hardy

5th
Tag team championship unification match

Carlito and Primo vs. John Morrison and The Miz
Very good decision by WWE to finally unify the tag team belts. Hopefully they don't pull someone crap that it ends up as a DQ and each holds on to there belt. This could help resurge the WWE tag team division. John Morrison and The Miz have been the best tag team in the WWE, since they have formed, hell maybe even the best tag team period. The Colons have been a very good tag team since they formed and have put on great matches with John Morrison and The Miz. Tough pick.

WINNER: John Morrison and The Miz

4TH
Singles match

UnderTaker vs. Shawn Michaels
It will be a great match between these two. Interesting so far of what I have seen of these two. Two legends and future Hall of Famers one on one. Toughest pick of all, lol.

WINNER: UnderTaker.

3rd
Triple Threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship

Edge (c) vs. The Big Show vs. John Cena
This has been the oddest storyline in a while. Why Big Show as Vickie side lover, in fact why does Vickie have any lover? Whatever, Edge doesn't hold on to belts for too long, Show isn't good enough to carry a show any more. There is only one pick.

WINNER: And the New World Heavyweight Champion John Cena

2nd
Money in the Bank ladder match

CM Punk vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. MVP vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Christian vs. Finlay
Still wonder about some of their picks for the match. I always love this match to see which midcarder will become a Main Event Star and a future World Champion. There are four guys you eliminate off the bat to me, and of the rest that are left you are down to two. The new US Champ MVP and the former NWA World Champ Christian. The fact that Vince doesn't have faith in Christian doesn't help him, MVP just won the US Championship and has a lot of momentum.

WINNER: MVP

1st
Singles match for the WWE Championship

Triple H (c) vs. Randy Orton with Legacy
This has been the best feud right now in the WWE. It has certainly gotten personal between the two competitors. Triple H, like him or not, will do the right thing at WrestleMania. Even though Orton is already a mega star, imo Triple H will lose to him to propel him to a new level. This will also help Legacy with there profile too. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but if Orton does win won't this be the first time he beat Hunter one-on-one for a World Title, when HHH didn't wrestle twice. Also, I believe that Vince will get involved and become the final member of Legacy. I could be wrong, but Vince has been really quiet, as far as I am concerned.

WINNER: And the New WWE Champion Randy Orton

So this is what I believe will happen. I really hope it does. Orton will be the biggest winner in my eyes, then MVP.

Wrestlemania 25 Card

HHH vs. Randy Orton

I'd like to see Orton win, but since it's probably going to be the main event you know HHH is going out on top to end WM25

Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show

I'd like to see Cena win and I think he will because all the 8 year olds watching wrestlemania will love to see Cena take the title

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

I'd like to see Matt Hardy get a hard push here and win at wrestlemania, and I think with both faces taking the titles that he will win

HBK vs. Taker

This match is going to be great. I don't want to see Taker's streak end and I don't think it will.

Miz and Morrison vs. The Colons

I'd like to see Miz and Morrison take the tag titles, and they will. Btw I love that there is actually a tag title match at WM again

JBL vs. Rey

I think the only reason JBL won the IC title was to complete his grand slam so Rey will take it. Again I love that there is actually an IC title match at WM too.

Jericho vs. Steamboat, Piper, Snuka

WWE must have panicked when Rourke wasn't going to wrestle and Hogan is on crutches, and Austin's back won't hold up so we are stuck with this. What a disappointing end to a great storyline. Jericho loses in a weak match.

MITB

I would love to see Christian win, but we all know McMahon hates him, so I think MVP is going to take this one. I wouldn't mind that, MVP is one of the most underrated guys in the business and it would be nice to see him get a push

25 Diva Battle Royal

I predict a returning diva wins this, such as Trish Stratus since she is still on good terms with WWE. If I'd have to choose an existing diva to win it, I'd say Mickie James because she needs another push.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say not only will this be a good show, but it will be a GREAT show, sure the build up hasn't been as good as we've come to expect from WM, but when I look at the card on paper, almost every match has the potential to be great.

HHH v Orton - I think this will definitely go on last, yes, it's been done before but I think this will be their greatest match by far with the intensity behind the storyline, I don't see any other ending other than Orton winning the title, although I think their will be a huge swerve with either Stephanie or Vince turning heel and joining Legacy.

Edge v Cena v Big Show - Most of the card is easy to predict how good the matches will be, but this one could either be really good or really disappointing, I think it'll be a decent match with Cena winning the title.

Taker v HBK - Even know everybody knows who's gonna win the match, it's still gonna be great, there's no doubt about that.

Hardy v Hardy - Making this an extreme rules match was a smart move, I don't doubt that these guys could have had a good straight up wrestling match, but now the match will be a lot better with the use of ladders, chairs etc, I expect Jeff to win with some huge move off a ladder through a table or something like that, but this feud will continue beyond this match.

Jericho v Legends - The match that originally had the best build up is now the only match on the card I'm not looking forward to, I was hoping for Jericho v Austin. I feel bad for Jericho, he had such a great year and now he has to carry three 60 year old guys on the biggest event of the year, even if Mickey Rourke punches Jericho or Austin comes out and stuns him, this will still be a disappointment, I hope something happens in the next 2 weeks and this match gets changed, I would make it a gauntlet match with mystery opponents with Jericho beating them all, then finally Austin's music hits, even if he's not in great physical condition, it would only have to be a 5 minute match with Austin winning.

MITB - I'd love to see Christian win, then come out immediately after Edge wins his match and cash it in and win the title, but I can't see them giving Christian that kind of a push, at least not right now. I think this will be as good as these matches normally are, although Rey, Bourne, Kendrick or R-Truth should have been in Henry's place, I think MVP will win then move to Raw in the draft leading to a big push for him this year.

Morrison & Miz v Colons - This should be great if given a decent amount of time, which I think all matches will be since it's a 4 hour show with only 9 matches. After ECW this week, I can see the Bella's turning heel and Morrison & Miz leaving with both sets of titles and both Bella Twins.

JBL v Rey - This should be a decent match, if it really is JBL's last match, he should go all out to put on a good performance and if Rey's on form like he was at No Way Out it should be a lot better than most people think, I think Rey wins the title.

Diva Battle Royal - It won't be much of a match, but seeing the likes of Trish Stratus and others again will make it interesting. If Trish doesn't win then I think it will be Maryse, the title of "Miss Wrestlemania" would be perfect for a heel to win and boast about how they are the best diva ever or something, I don't think that would suit Beth Phoenix's character and I don't think McCool or Jillian or any of the other heels are over enough to win this match, plus, so Maryse is the only diva on the current roster I can see winning.

So out of the 9 matches, I think 6 have the potential to be really good/great, JBL/Rey and the divas match will be decent for what they are and the Jericho match is the only one that I think will be disappointing. If Jack Swagger v Evan Bourne for the ECW title is added, then that should be another good match.

Despite all the negativity surrounding this WM, and I agree there hasn't been the huge build up like you normally get, I really think it will be a great show, it has the potential to be one of the best WM's ever in terms of match quality.

I finalized my matches on 28th February so they will not be up to date according to current WWE Storylines

(c)=ChampionTriple H (c) vs. Randy Orton
-WWE Championship
Quite an obvious decision as Triple H will want to get back at Randy Orton and Randy will want too take the title off Triple H. I don’t think anyone will move brands before the draft and after Wrestlemania, there will probably be a world title on each brand again. I think this will be a great match
Edge (c) vs. John Cena
-World Heavyweight Championship
Another match that didn’t need much thought. John Cena wants his rematch for the title and Edge “robbed” it from him. These two have had a great match before so this will be another great match.
Jack Swagger (c) vs. Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer
-ECW Championship Triple Threat Match
Christian won’t stop till he ins the title and Tommy Dreamer will retire if he doesn’t win on whenever One Night Stand/Extreme Rules/Night of Extreme/Whatever it’s called now is. I thought of this match as Tommy could maybe hit the DDT on someone before someone else attacks him to win the match. This will probably work better for Jack Swagger but if Christian loses again, it’s not good for his reputation. Tommy always draws big ratings and a Triple Threat is No DQ so weapons could be used.
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
-Extreme Rules Match
Jeff won’t fight Matt but he could torture him more over the fire, attack his girlfriend ect. so he finally faces him. This will be a great match to watch and could definitely set up a match at Backlash. Maybe a TLC No. 1 Contender for the World Championship. It could also be a Fatal-Four Way with Edge and Christian.
Intercontinental Champion CM Punk vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. MVP vs. R-Truth vs. Mr Kennedy vs. Finlay vs. Evan Bourne
-8 Man Money in the Bank Ladder Match
All these superstars would make it a good match. They are all quite athletic and/or good with weapons. This would definitely be an amazing Ladder Match. CM Punk and Mr Kennedy have both won it before. Kofi will finally get his chance after being kicked out of the Elimination Chamber. Rey Mysterio is a former World Champion. MVP has step up too the mark. R-Truth could have a big push. They always go on about Finlay never winning a World Championship and Evan had a tremendous push before he was injured. Anyone could win and it would be an unexpected outcome.
Chris Jericho vs. Hulk Hogan
-Special Referee Ric Flair

Hulk Hogan could come to the rescue of the Legends. I know Jerry Lawler has been talked about but he doesn’t have the charisma like Hulk Hogan. He has won many championships but I can think of more people who could fight Jericho before him. Ric Flair has got to be at the event in some shape or form so he could ref the match. I think that Jericho would lose so maybe have him attack Ric after the match then have Mickey Rourke run in and Punch him too the ground (I’ve heard about the boxing). Ric could then put on the Figure-Four Leglock ending the feud with Rourke and Flair.
United States Champion Shelton Benjamin & World Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz vs. Hardcore Champion Hurricane Helms & WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo
-Championships vs. Championships Six Man Hardcore Tag Team Match

This match is to have the other champions on the PPV. This match is a unification match where the winning tag team gets both and their partner the singles title. Hurricane could introduce the hardcore title too get into the match as Shelton says he doesn’t deserve it. The tag teams could start using weapons on each other too make the match a hardcore match before the title is reintroduced. This could be quite an entertaining match with these ‘highfliers’ using weapons. This match also means that the hardcore championship can be abandoned after Wrestlemania, being a championship unification match.
Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix & Diva’s Champion Natalya vs. Trish Stratus & Lita-Texas Tornado Tag Team Lumberjack Match
(Lumberjacks-Victoria, Torrie Wilson, Gail Kim, Molly Holly, Jazz, Miss Jackie, Nidia, Stacey Keibler, Sable, Sunny, Ivory, Tori, Terri, Debra, Dawn Marie, The Kat)(Special Enforcer-Jim “The Anvil” Neidhaas [Charlie Haas])
This would be a very entertaining match to shoe off the divas to their best wrestling ability. Lita and Trish are known too be maybe the best women’s wrestlers in history. Natalya and Beth can be pushed as the champions who can stop then. Trish said about going against Beth in an interview one on one. She also said about wanting to face Natalya while Lita mentioned both of them. That’s why I mad it a Texas tornado tag match, and were in Houston. Charlie can get rid of Tyson Kidd while the past WWE divas take care of Santino and Rosa. It is also the 10th anniversary of the WWE diva this year as Sable said it on April 19th 1999 addition of Raw making it good to see the divas again. Lita retired on a heel which I think is the worst thing that can happen so she would be face again.
The Big Show & Vladimir Kozlov vs. Kane & Mike Knox vs. Mark Henry & Umaga
¬-Smackdown vs. Raw vs. ECW Triple Threat Tag Team Match

As John Cena kicks Big Show out of the Triple Threat using the affair video, Vickie picks him to represent Smackdown’s against Raw’s Kane. However Umaga wants to make up for last year’s loss and Kozlov wants to be in it as he lost to Shawn. Mike Knox makes an impression so it is made a tag team match. Kozlov then gets a dirty win against Umaga putting him in the match. With mark Henry losing his Money in the Bank Qualifier, he attacks the participants and teams with Umaga to represent ECW. This is a battle of the monsters so they have similar styles working better with each other than with other superstars.
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
-Mr Wrestlemania vs. The Streak
Shawn beats JBL and then Kozlov to face the Undertaker, quite an easy decision. They have been in the WWE the longest and will surely have a great match together.
“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Goldust, Jamie Noble, JBL, JTG, Santino Marella, Shad, Ted DiBiase, William Regal w/ Layla, Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Ezekiel Jackson, Festus, Jesse, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu Naki, The Brian Kendrick, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder, DJ Gabriel w/ Alicia Fox, Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea Burchill, Ricky Ortiz, Tyson Kidd
-25 Man 25th Anniversary No. 1 Contender Battle Royal for either the Intercontinental, United States, Hardcore or Unified Tag Team Championships
This is just for all the other superstars who have failed to get on the card. However, this could really give someone a major push becoming the No. 1 contender. There are some good wrestlers in there and there is also the thing that if a tag team wins, will they go for a singles championship. It’s like a Money in the Bank opportunity for lower card superstars.
Kelly Kelly w/ Candice Michelle vs. Michelle McCool
-Playboy Pillow Fight

Kelly poses for Playboy and Michelle rants about how she is better than any other diva and she should be against Lita/Trish. Candice could manage Kelly and make it a pillow fight like the one she had against Torrie at Wrestlemania 22. I’ve heard that Candice might be turning heel so this would be a good place as Kelly could also be pushed. Kelly could be going to win and then Candice attacks her out of jealously allowing Michelle to win. Kelly could then attack her after the match promoting playboy for another, and maybe the last, year at Wrestlemania.

I'm sold somewhat. While I'm excited about Matt v. Jeff and Taker v. HBK, the rest of the card I'm not thrilled about. I don't want to see HHH/Orton for the 100th time or Cena/Edge with Big Show thrown in there. I would have been happier with Cena/Orton and HHH/Edge as Cena or Orton don't have one clean win against the other I don't think and to my knowledge, HHH/Edge has only happened once.

To be honest, the ONLY reason I'm buying this PPV is for Taker vs Shawn Michaels. Its been years since these two had a 1 on 1 match and they've never been better in the ring than they are today. This is the only match on the card that is screaming "Wrestlemania 25 worthy".

I'm slightly interested in HHH vs Orton because of a possible swerve here but otherwise this match has been done over and over for a good chunk of last year. I don't think we're going to see anything different in the ring from these two. The build up to this match has been intense, but its killing Orton's momentum in my opinion. He took out 3/4 of the McMahons but has done nothing besides being Triple H's bitch since RKO-ing Stephanie.

I was looking forward to Cena vs Edge in a 1 on 1 match since they put on great matches together but with Big Show involved, the entire feud has turned into a giant joke. It seems like Cena is the only one that actually wants to win the title while Big Show and Edge are concerned over who "loves" Vickie more.

I'm extremely disappointed in the direction the Jericho vs legends storyline has taken. It was awesome in be beginning building up momentum but now that the handicap match seems official the only savior to this disaster is interference by Austin. These men are all well above their 50's and can barely walk. This match is obviously going to flop.

Matt vs Jeff should be a good match since they obviously know each other well. Plus with the Extreme Rules stipulation added this match is definitely going to be one of the few good matches on the card. However I'm not liking the build up at all. We had a shocking backstab at the Royal Rumble and ever since all it has been is Matt Hardy calling himself a dark cloud...or something like that.

MiTB is always good and Shelton Benjamin always shines in this match. I'm excited because it seems that MVP is going to win since he has been building up momentum as of late.

JBL vs Rey Mysterio is really random and I honestly don't even remember the challenge being issued. Rey is entertaining in the ring so he can probably carry JBL to a decent match. Tag Team unification is a decent sign for the Tag Team division I guess, since there isn't even enough teams to sustain one belt.

25 Diva's Battle Royal...well I'm just looking forward to Trish and Maryse being in the ring at the same time.

I am really looking forward to this years Wrestlemania. Unlike many other people, I actually think most of the matches will deliver. People need to have faith in these wrestlers because they are going to give it everything they have got to entertain the fans because it is the biggest show of the year and/or their lives. Young guys like Miz and Johnny Mo, the Colons, kofi, and others have something to prove. So your going to get a good show.

There are some things you have to consider when predicting who is going to win the World HeavyWeight and WWE championships:
-First of all, since the first time the WWE Championship and the World heavyweight Championship were defended on the same wrestlemania(WM 19 I believe), both of the champions have not succesfully retained their titles on the same wrestlemania. That means at least 1 new world or WWE champion has been crowned at each wrestlemania.
- Another thing to consider is the fact that no two heels have walked out of the same wrestlemania as World and WWE champion. That makes sense because the fans wouldn't be to happy if that happened and a face should always walk out with one of the big titles.

Here are the possible scenarios for who could walk out of wrestlemania 25 as World And wwe champion:
-HHH/Big Show -HHH/Cena -HHH/Edge -Orton/Cena -Orton/Edge -Orton/Show

So considering the two factors above you could eliminate: HHH/Edge(both champions now), Orton/Edge(heels), Orton/show(heels).

So we are left with: HHH/Big Show, HHH/Cena, and Orton/Cena. I think we can eliminate the big show from winning because honestly, do you really see him winning the title? Take into consideration that Show is 1-7 at Wrestlemania and that his last title reign was 6 or 7 years ago(not including the ECW title), I just can't see it happening.

This leaves: Orton/Cena, HHH/Cena
So that pretty much means Cena is going to win the World HeavyWeight Championship. As for the WWE Title, it's anyones guess, and I have no idea but I'm really looking forward to the match and most of the matches

has it occured to anyone that the Jericho vs. Legends match is NOT YET listed on the Wrestlemania 25 official website?

I smell something cooking...

Trips v RKO - This is probably actually not going to be the ME. While it should be, the WWE also didn't put what should have been the ME (Flair vs. HBK) in that spot last year. Despite the fact that Randy won at WM24 vs. Trips and Cena, I see him doing it again this year. The swerve for one of the McMahons joining Legacy is a good idea, but I see Shane doing it before Vince would and it would fit, with Shane being 3G. And besides, I miss seeing the Shane-O-Shuffle on Raw. This will be followed in the draft by Randy moving to Smackdown.

Edge v Cena v Big Show - Here's your main event. Despite the fact that John Cena is not going to win it, they will put it as the ME, probably. The Big Show will take home the gold (I'm serious) and Vicky, leaving Edge prepped for a face turn when he divorces her after Big Show is moved to Raw, leaving Vicky with only Edge.

Taker v HBK - Honestly don't know which way this will go. Seriously. Although the streak would die, Taker is getting ready to retire soon, but they probably aren't going to keep that streak alive. And it sets up the retirement match for WM26 - a spooked Undertaker, no longer confident that he will win at WM, fighting with everything he has at WM 26. Because I don't see Taker retiring on a loss. Then on the other hand, there is that "beating Shawn before I retire" thing that I imagine Mark has thought about...

Hardy v Hardy - Matt takes home the victory so they can continue this until the Great American Bash, if not SummerSlam. Having Jeff go over makes no sense unless they're ending the feud at WM, which I don't think they will. I'm hoping that, despite the PG status of WWE right now, for a little blood in this match, as I think the Hardys should take it brutal. I'm also looking for some interference from Helms, but that's only if the writers have plans for him.

Jericho v Rest Homies (that's what he should call them) - I don't think it will actually happen. There's no way this can turn out good. The feel-good moment puts a bunch of 60 year olds over your best heel, which squashes him and makes him useless. "He couldn't even beat Roddy Piper, and he has cancer and is collecting social security checks. Why should anyone be afraid of him?" Unless they plan a face turn for Chris, that won't happen. And the heel win puts your best heel over a bunch of 60 years olds, which invalidates him as a bad ass or even as a good villian. "Yeah, he won at Wrestlemania, but who'd he beat? Roddy Piper? He has cancer and is collecting social security checks. Who cares?" There is no way that this match will be intact as it is at Wrestlemania because it doesn't help the company. Honest opinion of what happens: HOF night Stone Cold confronts Jericho during his acceptance speech, after the WWE has declared the Legends "ineligible to compete" or Jericho has systematically put em out of commission on the next two Raws, and they make that match then. How does that help the company? Austin was, and still is let's face it, in a tie for the biggest fan favorite with The Rock. This gives fans a feel good moment at Wrestlemania and entices old fans of the Attitude era that quit watching back when the Rock's quarter sleeve/upper pec tattoo was still fresh ink, a reason to, at the very least, buy the pay-per-view. These are people that know about Steve's induction and will tune in to the HOF show just to see it happen.

MITB - Christian, in truth, should win, but he won't. That honor will hopefully (and I say that because we all know...) go to Shelton Benjamin. Yes, removing the U.S. title off of him is an obvious set up (from my perspective) to him winning MITB, but that may mean it's not going to happen. Shelton has busted his ass in these matches every time he's been in them. He's been with the company a long time and hasn't been relegated to a funny gimmick guy the way his former partner Charlie Haas has. He's a damn good worker and deserves the win if he gets it. However, if he doesn't, they'll put it in the hands of Mark Henry, just because no one expects his fat ass to get up a ladder, much less win a ladder match.

MnM v PrimLito - The crowd just doesn't seem to care too much either way about the Colons, so I side with Miz and Morrison, because they are such good heels, for the unification belts (hopefully they're new belts). They seem to be splitting the Bella twins which means that whichever one comes to the ring with PrimLito will turn on them at the finish and walk out with Miz and Morrison.

JBL v Rey - Rey may take the title home, but I wouldn't expect this to be JBL's last match. I imagine that he won't have Rey "retire" him a second time unless they're really that close. I imagine that honor will go to the Undertaker at Summerslam or one of the other pay per views. I also don't see JBL retiring at Wrestlemania only because Flair did it and, because it's JBL, no one will care the way they did when Ric did it.

Diva Battle Royal - Let's be honest: As much as we all know that Trish Stratus should win Miss Wrestlemania, they won't give it to her because it doesn't help the company. Nor will it go to Tammy Lynn or any of the other classic Divas they bring in. I see it going to Beth Phoenix just so that Santino Marella has one more thing that he can use to make an ass out of himself and do it perfectly. Yes, it's predictable to have the big, muscly lady win, but that's exactly why they'll probably do it. You won't see it coming

That's my two cents on those matches. Of course, honestly, most of these decisions could be effected by what the WWE has planned for the draft rather than the other way around.

has it occured to anyone that the Jericho vs. Legends match is NOT YET listed on the Wrestlemania 25 official website?

I smell something cooking...

Don't get your hopes up. If you remember, last week all Jericho did was challenge them to a match at Mania. They haven't accepted yet, which means that likely happens tonight on RAW.

I wish not, but with only 2 weeks left until Mania, they can't really go with anything else. Not enough build up time. Hogan and Austin have fucked him over, it's time to accept it and move on watching the continuation of this disastrous/waste of a storyline. Though I'm sure we'll get our Austin appearance after Jericho kicks the old folks asses and he comes out, stuns everyone and drinks beer (If that's still allowed on WWE Disney programming, obviously)

Now that Hardy v. Hardy has been announced as Extreme Rules, I'm really looking forward to it.
I can only hope that the Jericho match changes tonight, but even if it doesn't...oh well. There are other matches on the PPV.

Here is just a few preditctions on WM25 versus what I actually want to happen, hopefully it's a great show and we get some good WRESTLING matches out of it, rather than a drama filled mic fest.....

WWE Championship Bout.....
(c) Triple H -vs- Randy Orton
Prediction - Triple H
What I want - Triple H

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Bout.......
(c) Edge -vs- John Cena -vs- Big Show
Prediction - John Cena
What I want - Edge

WWE Intercontinental Championship Bout.....
(c) JBL -vs- Rey Mysterio
Prediction - Rey Mysterio
What I want - JBL

Undertaker -vs- Shawn Michaels
Prediction - Shawn Michaels
What I want - Shawn Michaels
(I think Shawn will upset the Undertaker and use his speed and skills to outsmart and outdo the Phenom, Taker will be forced into a cat and mouse bout and Michaels will ultimatly end up the winner. Believe it!

Thank God the Hardy match is now an Extreme Rules Match. Very fitting for Matt and Jeff. Also the tag team unification title match is now a LumberJack match, which I'm ok with just because it's get everyone involved. It is the Super Bowl of Wrestling, so why not have everyone on!
