No Way Out Main-Event

Well, that magazine was printed quite a while ago, and probably before the decision to have Matt Hardy lose the ECW title and attack Jeff costhing Jeff the World Title. It'll be interesting to see where they go with that storyline.

ok so we know now that theres to be two seperate EC matches at no way out. the raw elimination chamber seems to me to be lacking severely. is this simply to make john cena look hella strong going into wrestlemania?

I am so glad that it is two seperate chambers and not just one big one were both titles are on the line.

This will be intresting. I was very surprised that Kofi got his chance right now. Espicially beating kane. I mean wtf. Is he really that good. But so far it's Cena,Kofi,Jericho and Rey Mysterio are in the chamber. This looks intresting to say the least. JBL will probably make it into the match but i don't know about the other person. Maybe HBK but I am thinking Kane. I don't know if I will like this match but all I can say is that it does look intresting.

From SD we don't know any one that is in the chamber but I think it will be like this. Jeff Hardy,Undertaker,Bigshow,Matt Hardy,Edge and Koslov. The reason I didn't put HHH in there is maybe because he might fight Legacy at NWO with a few other people ( maybe Sim and Manu). Again this will be intresting because I don't knwo the outcome. I am happy about one thing and that is Koslov finally loosing. He has to loose here. Because he will either loose on SmackDown or get pinned of submit here. Why? Well what person doesn't put an undefeated man that has been undefeated for months and months not in a qualifying match? Who could possibly take his spot from Smackdown. Again tho I don't see the point of Edge being in an qualifying match. I mean if he has to defend it in the chamber how can he defend it without being in the match. This also leads to another question. What about Christian? Where will he go? I am really looking forward to this chamber match because of so many possiblities.

I'm happy it's going to be 2 seperate chambers, and that the title will be defended in the match. I'm hoping they don't make Edge lose, since he just won the title for the 2nd time in 3 months. Cena will most likely retain as well, since it doesn't look like there's any credible contenders in the match yet. I like the idea of Kofi being in the match, but he's just going to be like Brian Kendrick in the Scramble. He'll probably start the match, fight the good fight, and then get his ass handed to him in pieces and be eliminated first.

What I like most about these matches, is that it frees up two matches worth of time on the show. That hopefully means we'll have better mid-card matches, and better grudge matches, to help set up Wrestlemania with a good card. I doubt we'll see all the title defended, but hopefully we can see CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin at least defend their's, and maybe Swagger will get some time for a good match.

It's pointless defending the belts in the Elimination Chamber matches. Randy Orton won at the Rumble, so he should be the only person getting a WHC title shot in the next couple of months.

I thought the purpose of the matches was to decide Mania opponents, they have one. So there really should only be a match to decide who Edge faces at Mania. Or if they insist on two, one to decide who Jack Swagger faces.

Honestly, the outcome of these matches seems pretty predictable. While I hope we get thrown some curve balls, this is how things seem likely to go.

For raw, we have orton in the main event for wrestlemania. It seems almost a given that cena will need to headline the raw side in some capacity, and at this point, cena seems the only viable option for orton to face. Does anyone really expect a raw main event being orton vs. kofi kingston? It's just not going to happen. So cena is likely to retain here. I would have guessed an outside possibility of jericho winning and a triple threat for wrestlemania, but instead it looks like jericho is going to be involved with...um, mickey rourke.

on smackdown, as of right now, we don't know who will be involved. But there's no way HHH is not going to headline wrestlemania. Right now, it also seems like his best bet for an opponent will be edge. so one of two things may happen. one is that edge also retains, and HHH somehow earns himself a title shot between no way out and wrestlemania (or somehow gets added to a mix). Or the other option could be vickie putting HHH through ridiculously difficult matches to qualify for the chamber, which he still manages to do, and then he wins the title at no way out. Then edge is the number one contender for wrestlemania.

Those are my predictions...I wouldn't mind being wrong, just for something different, but I guess we'll see.

yeah, but isn't a main event at a wrestlemania more significant than a title shot on raw or a lesser ppv? given that there is an excess amount of hype for that match. and besides, we don't expect the title changing hands in the EC match at NWO, so those 5 people that are getting a title shot are really just jobbers to cena... would anyone be pissed if kofi was replaced by santino at the EC match? probably not... would anyone be pissed if orton was replaced by santino at wrestlemania?? yeah!

But surely there's no point to a match involving 5 wrestlers and a champion if the outcome is obvious? I thought the idea behind a multi-person match was that the odds are stacked against the champion.

Because Orton has already got himself the Mania title shot wouldn't it be in his best intrest to get involved and Kofi win the match? He is the weakest challenger out of the lot.

The Raw match should be interesting as the wild card of Orton is still looming over it. It would indeed make sense for him to try to get the weakest link to win, or would he want to insert himself into the match, thinking that he could win it here and then not have to wrestle at Mania? With two spots left there's still a lot of possibilities as to who could fill them. It should be interesting no matter what though as the Chamber matches usually are good. It also sets up the possibility to completely reset the title picture heading into Houston.

No.Much as I think WWE should only have OnE World champion.I dont think its gonna happen at NWO.
At the risk of sounding like a new thread.Anyone else notice.No token ECW stars in either Raw or SD Chambers.this year.With Chavo & Matt sliding to SD for sake of plot PRE DRAFT.Morrison & Miz holding Raw titles.& Dreamer MaYBe going in june,,& Swaggers first feud as champ with FiNLaY,IS ECW gonna be just a glorified B Show like Heat? No more considered than the Cruiserweight title?
