[Official] Anti-Cena Fan Headquarters

Which thread was that Scott Hudson article in, as his facts are inaccurate as WWE did better business in both 2005 and 2006 than it did in 2004, which means that his statement that WWE now is 2/3 as popular as it was in 2004.

I'm joining !!!

I've hated Cena since like the day he beat Kurt Angle for the first time. What a dumb booking choice that was to have some no talent loser beat one of the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Considering you think you're an 'internet god', you're incredibly ignorant.

Actually I don't think I'm an Internet God.

I got my name because I'm a JBL fan and he's a wrestling god, so since this is the internet of course I just made this.Internet God.

Also I must be ignorant because you're a Cena lover am I right ?

By no means. It would be a little better if you could have justified your opinions. It's always interesting to hear why Cena haters hate him so much.

Oh great we have another one of those stupid "I'm not a fan but I defend him" type of people here.

This thread isn't for you bub so get out.

He's never appealed to me and I've just never liked him.Excuse me I'm not a computer and I can't really control exactly what I like/dislike.

I'm a casusal Cena fan, bub. I just don't think he's as great, nor as bad as some people claim.

This thread isn't for you bub so get out.

Why? I have a right to post in here.

He's never appealed to me

Fair enough. It just irks me when people bash wrestlers and don't justify their opinion to any extent, they just come off as mindless drones which sadly, a large majority of the IWC is plagued with.

You sure do have the right to post in here. Just like you have the right to be an asshole, which is a right you seem to be exercising now.

The guy doesn't like him. Who cares what reason? Maybe he doesn't like the color of his god damn shorts, is that any of your damn business at all? No. Maybe if the guy actually started a conversation or debate here it'd be understandable, but you come in here and just start putting down someone you don't even know for no good reason other then he has a different opinion then you.

Christ, Cena fans are worse then the KGB, no one but them is allowed to have a differing opinion.

Putting down? I didn't put anybody down at all. What good is discussion if people just come in here and say somebody sucks? If they care enough to post why somebody sucks, they should care enough to explain why. Maybe I'm getting this wrong, but this is a discussion forum right?

Actually this is a discussion forum but if you read it says "Live Discussion & Spam Zone" So with that word Spam in there, that means I don't have to engage in an actual discussion, I can just post my thought and leave without any justification.

I suppose.

Ignore me today, I have a bad hangover.

'Gets owned'? I guess this forum doesn't appreciate a guy trying to strike up some decent conversation huh?

Well remember I don't have to engage in actual conversation and this is basically a spam type zone so conversation isn't required and/or justified.I am engaging in actual conversation right now but it will be discontinued right bout now...

Suit yourself. Go throwing your unjustified opinions around and claim you don't need to discuss them. :smashfreakB:

Remember what I said about the "Live Discussion & Spam Zone" thing ? In this section I can "Throw my unjustified opinions around" since the word spam is basically in there.

That's a pretty unfair statement considering the fact that, according to Cena's critics, wrestling intelligence is inversely proportional to how much one likes Cena.

Don't cast stones at Cena fans when Cena haters are just as bad, and have been doing it much longer.

wait let me get this straight, you are a JBL fan, so apparently you think he has wrestling ability, even though he is awful, but you praise him, but make ignorant comments towards John Cena? I don't get this, when Cena actually has some talent

What did I say several posts back in this thread ?

Cena has never appealed to me and I just don't like him.I can't really explain why, I'm not a computer that can control what I like/dislike.I just don't like him, end of story.

I think I'll join the anti club. I've been reading both the Fan and Hate clubs back and forth, taking all of the opinions into perspective, and have come to a conclusion.

I do not hate John Cena, but I am growing increasingly irritated by his fans, especially on this forum. Cena fans are stubborn and cannot be reasoned with in the sense that they just don't understand that Cena isn't for everyone. They assume that because he draws, its reason enough for every last wrestling fan to adore him.

There is a difference between 'enjoy' and 'respect'. I 'respect' Cena for coming back sooner than expected, and I 'respect' him for all he has done (carrying the company and selling their fabulous merchandise  ), but I do not 'enjoy' him. I don't like him because of his look, his promos, his lack of exciting matches, and the WWE creative team's decision that because his fan base of 11 year old boys are the fans of the future, he needs to hold the title for an unbearable amount of time.

So let's get into it.

1.] His look. For me, appearance is a pretty important thing. Cena fans don't seem to realize there is more to a wardrobe than long shorts, black waistband underwear, an unbearable amount of wristbands, and sneakers. Cena fans don't understand that some people might not like his look, and that is a perfect example of their 'blind love', that I completely believe exists. (As for blind hate, sure there is some, but from what I've seen, haters aren't completely torn from the realization that Cena draws. However, Cena fans are so stuck on the idea that because he draws, everyone HAS to like him, that they must antagonize anyone who disagrees.) Sure, WWE is responsible for his character, and that is why I don't hate the man, I hate the look.

2.] His promos. Talk about WWE creative giving him a script straight out of a comic book. This is just one of the many signs that WWE knows his target audience is children, because they are the only ones who buy into the whole played-out 'overcoming the odds' bologna. Again, what he does, he does to the fullest extent of his ability, and for that I 'respect' him, but his promos are just too immature for me. It's as if he was given one set of lines at the beginning of his career and just changed the words around every time he has ever talked in the ring (or backstage for that matter).

3.] Lack of exciting matches. This has been debated to death, but again, the Cena fans have their own opinions of what is 'exciting', and who's to say their wrong. What is wrong, however, is the fact that they constantly try to shove his matches down our throats as if maybe we will someday like them. Cena fans ask us "Name one bad match he's had in this specified amount of time." when for us, its almost every match. They can't wrap their heads around the fact that maybe someone doesn't like his style of wrestling. (Oh, and the classic "...yet you still buy the PPVs with him in the main event..." which is foolish, because you know the entire card is about him, and there is no way in hell someone might buy a PPV because of a match other than the main event.) I just can't get into his matches unless he has an opponent who can make it interesting, like his matches with HBK.

4.] WWE Creative. It is so unfortunate that WWE thinks Cena needs the title to draw, when there are more deserving wrestlers who could shine in the spotlight for a little while. I'm not saying Cena isn't deserving, but he has honestly worn out his welcome when he holds the title for anything over eight months (but then again I'm just not a fan of long reigns anyway.) Especially in an age when we might soon be losing some great legends who could really do a lot with a title reign, such as Undertaker, HBK, and even Flair. I don't care how believable it would be if Flair at his age won the title, it is Pro-Wrestling for Christ's sake, and it would be damn entertaining.

I personally don't believe that drawing power should equal a long title reign, as if they are such a big draw, they should still draw without a title. I hear so much about old schoolers needing to put over younger stars, but how about using Cena's championship spot to further their careers and move Cena, an already established star, to a spot that wouldn't harm him, and might give some variety to his otherwise tiresome agenda.

That is all I have, and I hope it is enough to please even Cena Fans after at least giving reasons for my dislike, and not 'blind hate'. Overall, I just wish the Cena fans could come to terms with the fact that not everyone likes him, and we are entitled to our opinions as much as they are.

I must beg your forgiveness. I said soemthing nice about Cena in the Pro-Cena thread.
Please forgive me for I know not what I do.
