I like the pick. Protect Bradford is key and this key can play guard or tackle. If they keep him at tackle it gives them two young tackles with Jason Smith (2nd pick 1st round last year) and this kid.

Bah. He's gonna end up as a Guard, I don't see him ever doing LT, and RT I'm not sure he'd be amazing.

Bradford's got a line, but no one to throw too. Looks like Jaxs will have to carry the entire offense next year unless they can nab a reciever.

Now we see if the Vikes trade for Haynesworth. :D
 
Interesting. Offensive line picks are always boring, but usually effective. Saffold could either play tackle or guard for St. Louis and it protects your young qb. Given the receiver depth, this is probably smart as they can pick up a receiver at the beginning of round 3.
 
They should seriously make the draft party a team package type deal, and try to weed out the douche bags. I'm sick of hearing these dudes boo players getting drafted.
 
Like the pick, he was a guy the Vikes were interested in and we were able to trade back and got him. Plus he can play CB or S, so that kills off two needs.

EDIT: There it is. Yes, it was a pretty good pick in the spot taken. Kid's got work to do, but has football instincts which you can't teach.
 
I think that kids gonna have to move back to Safety, he just doesn't seem like he'll be able to play corner effectively in this league.
 
If Clausen doesn't go next, he'll fall to the 60's. No way Browns pick Clausen and I don't think Oakland would take him, he doesn't have the arm.
 
Wow, a little unexpected, but Tampa Bay REALLY wants to replicate the old days of Booger and Sapp. Price is tough but can disappear in games (he did against Arizona when I saw him). Tampa's got a shit ton of picks though so it's not like they can't afford to take who they probably thought was BPA.
 
Clausen would be an interesting pick here with Weis being the new OC. Not sure if they'd take him as they are set on Cassel. They have to go lineman (offense or defense) or get Cassel another weapon like Golden Tate, Benn, or one of the TE.
 
I love this kid. Not sure KC was the best place for him, but he can flat out play. As for the QBs, look for Cleveland to take McCoy and Buffalo to nab Claussen coming up. That's my best guess.

He needs to work on his tackles and pump iron, but he has good ball skill and height. Sitting behind Twon, Ceddy, Sapp, and Lito for a year will do him good.

Interesting pick by KC. A guy who can do a little bit of everything in McCluster. Can play some RB with Charles and TJ or catch the ball out of the slot or backfield. Plus kick returns, adds a playmaker is pretty much what I was getting at.
